It would be vary helpful if there was a frame setting that could be changed in the extension so I would not have to change it manually upload it an wait for it to be approved just so I can see the change.

Currently frame inactive is a option but at least on linux that wont change the inactive tab section color. An it does some weird gnome gtk workaround which at least on non-gnome is vary ugly. Personally In wish the team would use anything but gtk in the future.

Frame section:

The color of the header area background, displayed in the part of the header not covered or visible through the images specified in "theme_frame" and "additional_backgrounds".

See example json

"theme": {

 "colors": {
    "frame": "red",
    "tab_background_text": "white"
 }

}

When I open Firefox at start of day, it [laptop] seems slow. Now when I check why with Task Manager I see that one click on Firefox has opened it NINE times when I look at performance. Why? I only need one instance to do my work. So it takes up memory and cpu performance. Ugh turned my laptop into a slow dog! HELP?!

I have an iMac desktop, macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.6. When I log-in to my bank account a blank page titled "HTTP Status 400 Bad Request" pops up. I shut the computer down, restart it and log-in again and it works. But each subsequent log-in results in the Bad Request page popping up until I shut the computer down again and restart. How do I fix this? Thanks for your help.

I want to figure out how to log into to my bank without triggering 2FA every single time.

At the moment, if I log in and tick the "stay logged in" box, complete the 2FA, tick the "remember this device" box, I still have to log in two hours later, and go through the whole rigamarole again.

I assume this is some cookie setting of my own doing, but I don't know what I did.

I have Firefox using the "Standard' setting to balance protection and performance at <about:preferences#privacy>

Here's what I've tried:

  • I added the URL to "exceptions for enhanced tracking protection"
  • I added a specific exception to "cookies and site data" to specify that the site can "Always" allow cookies.

Just now, I removed all of my existing cookies for the site, in case I set some cookie previously that is telling it to never track anything. But if that doesn't work, is there anything I can do to ensure that the bank will actually remember that I did successfully complete 2FA in this browser already today?

Dear Sir or Ma'am

On a number of occasions I've experienced a debilitating computer crash, apparently when Firefox wants to update, requiring me to force a shutdown. What kind of psychopathy is it that makes things like this happen? Would it be possible to have a notice with a stated TIME for the update and a way to regulate it? I lost 4 hours of work this time, and it's happened before.

Thanks for You Attention to this Matter,

I've recently changed my OS from Suse to Kubuntu. When I used Firefox in Suse there was an option, 'Save Link', which created a .desktop file that I could then click on to load the page. This file could be saved in any folder, which meant it could be filed away in an appropriate place.

When I click on a .desktop file in Kubuntu it will load the page, but there doesn't seem to be a way of creating one with the version of Firefox that has been installed.

Is there a way of one-click creating a .desktop file in Kubuntu that I haven't noticed? (Yes, I can easily create one using Kate, but that could be long-winded for the number of pages I want to save.)

I was playing a game on Facebook when the screen froze and then blanked out. Now when I try to access any games, I get the message that 'my browser does not support this feature'. Is this a Facebook problem and is there anything I can do to solve it - there is no point trying to contact Facebook. TIA
