The Command+M keyboard shortcut only minimizes Firefox one time after the initial boot of the system and stop working thereafter. Opening the Window menu in the top menu bar and then clicking minimize also fails to minimize Firefox. The only thing that works to minimize the Firefox window is clicking on the minimize bar on the top left of the window.

How do I get COMMAND + M to consistently minimize Firefox?

Hello, I use Firefox as my only browser and I use the shortcuts because they're really helpful. But every time that I lunch Firefox all the pages in the shortcuts "call" their websites, I see it from pihole and all the requests are made every first lunch of Firefox. Probably it's something related to the cache and to give better perfomances in case I wanna select one of those shortcuts, but I don't want that all of them make a "call" to their respective websites. I think it's something related to privacy and freedom about what I want to do with mt browser. Is there an option to block those connections? In case there isn't an option is possible to implement it? Thank you so much

I've been encountering a persistent error with Firefox, and I'm hoping someone here might have a solution. Whenever I try to open Firefox, I keep getting an error message that says "Secure Connection Failed" for certain websites. It's really frustrating because it's preventing me from accessing important sites. I've tried clearing my cache and cookies, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?

windows 10 pro pc show all the booklinks however, synch to an Iphone 14 to ipad 9th generation and it does not synch. I have tried all the fixes and nothing works. Time to stop using Mozilla products? what the devil is going on with the Mozilla staff? Hard to provide a contribution when products don't work!

From my adobe account, I try to launch my web based apps so I can use the web based adobe acrobat, and the browser page opens as a blank screen only. I am on an older mac book w/ Yosemite 10.10.5 and Firefox is up to date wiht 78.15.0esr (64-bit). Please help! I need to be able to manipulate pdfs. Thank you

I had Wavve.co app installed on my laptop. Was using it but started to have problems (ie, the app slowing and then not working at all). Firefox showed me a message that said something to the effect that this page was slowing down the browser, did I want to "Stop Page"?

So I clicked "Stop Page", but now even after doing a reset to a date PRIOR to installing the app, I still cannot access the app on this laptop. Will I now need to switch to another browser to continue working with Wavve? Is there ANY way to UNDO that action? Suggestions?

Hi! Relaying this for another Firefox user. Whenever they go to Google Images, it seems like the images don't fully load. GIFs don't play, and it ends up showing the preview rather than the full image. This isn't happening on other sites like Bing. Any ideas what could be causing this? A uninstall and reinstall didn't help.

I want the tab button to stop navigating any web page. Im tired of the alt tab shortcut moving my focus around and forcing me to completely refresh a page just to interact with it again.

Please do not tell me to use about:config browser.toolbars.keyboard_navigation. It doesnt work because its not what im looking for. I want to disable the tab key in my browser. Period. 100% gone. Stop bothering me ever again type deal.

Is there a way to disable tab key navigation that doesnt require a year of coding experience with an obscure addon that probably doesnt work as of 10 updates ago?

I want GPO option in ADDS, which do not open closed pages where i login by user and password. For example udemy.com where i logged by user and password, close Mozila. Next open mozila put udemy.com and it open last session as authenticated status (User and Pass). I do not want this.

I can not log into my Harley ride planner account. Its not the websight as I can log in on my I phone. I get this message.The resource at “https://www.harley-davidson.com/etc/designs/h-d/images/dropdown-arrow-white-2.png” was blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking. Reason: “nosniff is true and mimeType is an opaque-blocklisted MIME type or its essence is 'text/plain'”. How do I fix this? Thank you Paul

I love pocket but it is infuriating. I do something and a pocket page suddenly comes up with like 10 pictures and click links to articles. (And I don't know what I did to get this pocket page to come up. It happens when I do something online and I can't replicate it! It's always by accident. I google pocket and login but ti's not the same page with the same articles.) I see several articles I would like to read. I click on one and at least I can usually read that one, but then I go back and can't find the other articles I wanted to read and I cant get back to the same page displaying the articles. Now there are different articles! Today I clicked on one I wanted to read, was told to log in, which I did, then it took me to a pocket page which didn't have the article i wanted, and I cant find it. I also wanted to read another article and can't go back to find it either. This is infuriating! Can anyone help? And I doin't even know how to get back here to find your answer unless it goes to my email chaplaindon2000@gmail.com help!

It is sort in the background like a page behind the main screen I am viewing but it causes Firefox to crash. I have seen other posts say disable hardware acceleration, but mine is disabled, others say disabled extension, but I only have ublock! It is not my graphics card as it is all up to date. My laptop is new 6 months old.

When the system theme (light/dark) is switched globally, Firefox recognizes this and also switches its theme automatically (if configured appropriately). This should also retheme addons opened in the sidebar (Tab Stash or Sidebery for instance), and it does so under certain conditions, namely if either a) no sidebar was opened when starting Firefox and the addon sidebar window is opened directly, or b) the sidebar was opened with start of Firefox. Unfortunately, no retheming of the addon window occurs when some other Firefox sidebar (such as bookmarks or history) was opened after Firefox start and before system theme switch. In that case, the addon window (which is opened as the system theme is switched) does not retheme. This can be mitigated by either restarting Firefox or by opening a Firefox sidebar such as bookmarks or history, and switching back to the addon window.

So to reproduce this behaviour:

1. Open Firefox and some sidebar addon directly (such as Tab Stash in my case, with Ctrl-Alt-S)
2. Switch system theme globally (I do this with Night Theme Switcher in GNOME)
3. Observe that Firefox correctly redraws the addon window
4. Open bookmarks (Ctrl-B) or history (Ctrl-H)
5. Reopen the addon window
6. Switch system theme globally again
7. Observe that Firefox does not correctly redraw the addon window
8. Open bookmarks (Ctrl-B) or history (Ctrl-H) again
9. Reopen the addon window
10. Observe that Firefox redrew the addon window

This has already been reported to the addon developer, who stated that it might be a bug in Firefox, since his addon only tells Firefox which colors to use in which mode.

System details:

I noticed the mozilla.org website has a new favicon. I feel like that sort of thing usually alludes to some forthcoming development. Hmm...

My question is. Hmm? I wonder what's going on over at Mozilla.

Is there a way to rename things in the Passwords list? I'm not concerned about MY password or sign-in, but what appears in the list. A name such as "login.live.com" tells me nothing about what site that sign-in will take me to. I'd like to be able to rename it with something that gives me a hint.

I have a fairly long list of saved logins, and visually scan the list at times to get to a supplier or service I need.

I'm using a desktop, Windows 10.
