Every video i watch is not centered on my screen i tried everything thinking it was on my end but if i try it on chrome and edge everything is fine. Note that only the left and upper side has a space when in full screen the right and bottom are ok In the second image it's on youtube and may appear a bit more clearer

I lost my entire browser (bookmarks, extensions, accounts) by opening firefox twice. Whilst firefox was opening (very slowly due to my wifi) i opened it again, thinking it may have crashed, next time i opened it my entire browser was gone. How can i recover my data?

Hi. I'm in Windows 10 Extension using latest version of Firefox 145.0.2.

Every time I try to log into my Gmail account, a Windows Security Pop up says: "Making sure it's you. Please sign in to google.com. This request is coming from Firefox, published by Mozilla Corporation."

I'm already trying to log into gmail using my user name and password! I cancel out of the pop up and then it takes several tries to finally log in to gmail.

Is there any way to disable this pop up request at Firefox's end?

I am in the UK I want to access channel t catch-up service and get a request to disable the ad-blocker.

I have no idea what the icon looks like or how else to mam=nage it. I didn't know that I had an ad-blocker.

I have two credit cards saved in Firefox 147.0.2. When a web site asks for my cc info, a yellow box opens identifying both cards. When I hover over one, the boxes are filled in in yellow. When I click on the card i wish to use, everything disappears and all of the boxes are blank and back to their original color.

I am on a MAC running Tahoe OS 26.2

What am I doing wrong?

Firstly, because, It is annoying to manually have set browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled and browser.tabs.groups.enabled to false every time when installing firefox.

Secondly, because this is not sufficient to restore the normal correct beaviour. Tabs cannot be detached despite browser.tabs.allowTabDetach being true.

FF 141.0 on FreeBSD, only extension is NoScript.

What needs to be done still so that tabs can be detached?

P.S.: Suggested long term solution: Introduce an option "Disable tab groups ENTIRELY, restore behaviour as it was before introduction of tab groups.".

I had to get a replacement keyboard,and it worked for a while , And then about a week ago, no volume on you tube,google ,but i have audio on mirosoft edge. Checked volume setting's over several times. An advisor told me ,that the logitech keyboard maker,installed optional driver's , that could have caused this? I searched device manager ,to uninstall but didn't find it?

It is extremely annoying that the shortcut tabs forces me to have shortcuts based on my search history

For example, the fact that I visited a website about how to make pasta does not mean that I want that on my home tab every day, I am not wanting to make pasta every single day and if I were to want to make pasta every single day I would most likely not need the recipe

But everyday I do want to access YouTube, so I do want my shortcuts enable. I won’t add it to my bookmarks since they are for more important purposes (also uncomfortable to reach in comparison to shortcuts which are right in the middle of the screen)

That is to say, it is extremely annoying that with the shortcuts enabled I am forced to either filled up all the possible shortcuts or getting shoved some unecessary shortcut recommendations down my throat

There clearly should be an option to do have shortcuts in the home tab but without recommendations based on your search history

In regular conditions the Restore Previous Session works as intended. But if I open a private tab and then close my regular tabs (so only private tab is left open) firefox won't restore the closed tabs the next time I open it. It never happened with other browsers that I used in the past. Is there any way to fix this by tweaking config or smth? I think this might be caused by the fact that you can reopen closed tabs in private session with ctrl + shift + t, but I don't know the setting name to test it.

Environment:

  Windows 11 Pro, Version 25H2, Updated windows (include KB5074109) on Jan 16, 2026.
  Firefox version 107.0  

Issue:

  Firefox freeze shortly (e.g. after play YouTube video for less than a couple minutes, just browser YouTube videos for a while, or just open about:preferences page).
  
  I installed  Firefox 147.0.1. Same issue. 

  Hover cursor to Firefox, it becomes busy (blue spinner)

  Note: Firefox works fine before the windows update. Chrome exits suddenly after the update too.

Task Manager: shows 15 FireFox processors with 0% CPU usage.

Not performing as it should. I have Windows 11 on PC. Open in a new tab should always show above open a new window. When I click on a link that is above the halfway point on the page I never see or have the option to open in a new tab. Open in a new window always is at the top.

If I am on a new page and the link is above the halfway point on the page I can't scroll the page down to have the link below the halfway point. If I am am on a page that I can scroll the link below the halfway point, Open in a new tab will show above open in a new window.

How can I get a new page with a link above the halfway point to have open in a new tab show? I have Firefox 146.0 (64-bit). It is up to date.

Hello,

I am in a situation where I am a student at the university of Gothenburg. At the university the students have their own spaces at a cyberspace cloud storage facility. The place is called Canvas. In Canvas the students subject are lined up and information about each subject is also stored and other features about the students education. The place is only about university information and education. Yesterday, I tried to log in to my account into Canvas at the university of gothenburg, at Handelshögskolan on my computer. It was not a success. I tried to use the regular webbrowser for Apple, Safari, but it was not a problem there and I was able to login. I was also able to login to my account on my cellphone, which is logged in via an application downloaded from Appstore.

I do not wish to use Safari because it is not purposeful in the usage in the direction via education that i am looking to achieve.

How can you help me solve this please?
