Firefox upgraded to V 38 - Now whenever I follow a link, it opens up a window that is missing all of the navigation. No address bar, No home button, no up-down slide bar.

Also, all buttons are disabled. Cannot use the arrow buttons to move up and down, nor do any of the alt or F-keys work.

When using a mouse I know I can middle click (wheel) and the web-link I am clicking will open in a new tab. I also know I can drag that link to the + sign on the tab bar and it will open. But while using the Keyboard only, when I want to open a webpage link in a new tab, it always opens in a new window, why?

I noticed while searching in Mozilla Support that hitting any box opens in a new tab ( this is the effect I want) why does this not happen on other webpages?

I may be answering my own question here but could it be the one 'NewsNow' website that is causing my problem?

I've called Netflix twice with the error code F7361-1253 that shows up, to no avail. The first time the guy said it wasn't a Netflix code and didn't know what to do. The second time a different guy said to go to Internet Explorer to see if Netflix would play. Since it did, he said the problem was with Firefox. I have tried updating plug-ins, and refreshing Firefox, but nothing is working.

I noticed a slowdown sometimes in Firefox - checked the Windows 7 task manager resource monitor and found lots of IP addresses - though only one Firefox window open. So I checked them out - most seemed legit but this one definitely has a bad reputation from computer forums: 93.184.215.73. What I want to know is a) how do I block it in Firefox? It is easy in IE. You just block it under privacy and security tabs. b) why is Firefox even running this? Thanks. M in Oakland

Since a week or so, FireFox hasnt been able to open pdf's anymore in the browser. The page goes blank, nothing happens. Im still able to right click a pdf and do a Save-as action though. Ive read several other topics, and tried some things like changing preferences on which program should open the pdf, or how it should be opened (or rather saved as). None of them worked.

One solution I havent tried, which might work, but should be my last resort, would be to uninstall and re-install FF. Hope to see if someone has a tip on thow to change this.

Note: not so long ago I updated Adobe to the latest version (v2015), which is actually named 'Adobe Acrobat Reader DC' now.
