It was working fine and now the past few days I can no longer login to my Fastmail.com account other than from my Windows 7 pc

So no one including Firefox can email me

Suddenly, my login (user name & password) is not working on only one specific website, although it works perfectly with a couple other browsers. The site acts as though the information is not even being submitted-no change in site nor the "Login" button. I'm using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 10 and I have deleted all previous cookies and data, rebooted my PC with no difference in results. Thank you for any information.

Hello, I have a very weak internet connection and I've been experimenting with ways to lessen the burden of the slow connection by increasing the time that the cache from websites can stay on my computer (I've already increased browser.cache.disk.capacity and set browser.cache.check_doc_frequency to 2, but the files still end up expiring eventually forcing them to be re-downloaded even though I know these cache files never change).

So far I've had some success with this extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cache-longer/) it definitely works but very inconsistently so I've tried to directly edit the cache files found in Profiles\someprofile.default-release\cache2\entries but every time I edit the max-age on the cache-control line or any other line firefox just erases the cache file completely then re-downloads it.

TL;DR - Is there someway of getting firefox to ignore the cache file expiry dates and cache-control age or at least editing these files to extend their life?

Why do I need a new profile every single little update? How can I get my saved session, bookmarks, history, open tabs, extensions and preferences from my old profile? Manually copying files from the old profile is not a solution - it's a workaround and not a great one. Lots of things get left behind. Alternatively: what file in my "old" profile do I need to manipulate to trick Firefox into using it with the new version?

I am trying to email a link from chatgpt to my yahoo email account. When I try to open the link I receive the error 500 internal server message. I have emailed links from chatgpt many times before with no problem. Can you advise.

Hello, when I open my firefox browser on my iPhone SE (2nd. Gen.) I receive the attached message. Since I do not want to click on ok, I cannot use firefox anymore. The message does not appear when I use firefox on my computer.

Do you know this message and what can I do? Thanks for you support

No matter how I try, I can't get Firefox to save any of my passwords om my brand-new Mac computer. Nor can I reset my primary password, as I was told this might help. It didn't; I couldn't reset or change. Indeed, I don't even remember ever having chosen a primary password. I've been through all sorts instructions, but get stuck being informed that my efforts have been unsuccessful. Would be most grateful for any help. (I never had these sort of problems with my 12 year old Mac.) Bosse, Stockholm

Firefox doesn't allow a web message to be sent but Google Chrome does. After filling out the form at: SPECTRUM URGENT: FUNDING FOR THE AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM IS RUNNING OUT, I could not send the message because I got a message saying, "Please enter a 5 digit zip code." but I did enter a 5 digit zip code! I copied the URL into a tab of Google Chrome and there was no zip code error so I was able to send my message.

For years I've watched General Hospital at ABC.com using FF as my browser. Recently, however, the videos won't play; all I'm getting are a lot of zeros (for playtime etc) and the settings gear & other options on the lower right are missing. This is happening with all shows on their site.

I'm not getting any Error Messages except when trying to watch "ABC Live" where I still can't watch but am getting an error message. I've cleared my cookies and cache, made sure the DRM content switch is on and that abc.com is allowed to leave cookies. I've also contacted their support staff but they haven't been able to help.

I'm not having any problem when I use a different browser. At least I'm not missing any episodes but I'd much rather NOT use Chrome.

I've included some screenshots below to help describe what's happening.

Looking forward to any advice that comes my way.

When updating Firefox, I my Avast antivirus often pops up with a Threat Secured window: Is there some nefarious code in your updater? I attached a screen grab of the warning window.

Hello, I was using Firefox to read my email at privateemail.com. When I attempted to save one of the emails to my Macbook (using an option in the window displaying the email), Firefox launched Apple Mail on my MacOS system. Apple Mail opened up with the email in one of its windows.

That is not the way it worked in the past. When picking "save to computer" in the web-mail interface, Firefox would open a SaveAs dialog box and allow me to directly save the mail to my computer.

I tested this behavior using Safari instead of Firefox, and that behaved as I expected. That is, Safari opened a SaveAs dialog box for me to use.

Is there a configuration parameter that was changed in a recent Firefox update? I am running FF 126.0 on MacOS 14.4.1.

I had implement service worker for install resources and activate service worker and fetch the resources at offline.

When online service worker worked and once serve the resources to the cache then it will be stooped automatically

but when offline service worker block the local host and can not cache resource from cache. I am using firefox

126 version on window 11 system

Any settings are required or help me what will do for offline working in firefox using service worker

Everytime I open Firefox a new window opens suggesting I add the AVG extention, when I do I get a notification that AVG does not support that extention for Firefox. Why is the nonsupported extention being recomened
