I recently updated Firefox on my computer. After that, I can't find my old Bookmarks.

Also I find that I am UNABLE to add any new Bookmark. When I click on the 'Star' in the browser toolbar, there is nothing. Before I used to Get the Add Bookmark tab and a place to SAVE, now there is nothing.

Even after I type in the URL in the address bar, and open up the required page, I am unable to Add it to my Bookmarks.

somehow i lost my Youtube in the task/ bookmark tool bar i was trying to add something and it had book mark bar up there i removed it and now i can no longer put you tube in there any more i have tried taking it from bookmark and from desktop and from anywhere i had it saved and tried dragging it up to the mar but i can not what can i do to get it there

I have a pretty through bookmark system. I use folders a lot, and the little window that pops up presents too much confusion if there are a lot of folder already open from previous bookmarking. Is there a method to have bookmark manager open by default upon selecting the bookmark star and allow me to bookmark the current page? Is there a default setting that will open the small bookmark window with all folders closed? If not how do I go about making a suggestion to Mozilla to include this in their next upgrade.

For about a month I've had to use Chrome because my bookmarks scramble or become unoperatable, then about 4 days ago they started saving again & all bookmarks worked fine. This lasted about 3 days then went back to becoming dead or wrong (may all say 1 or 2) sites I visit. a restart may lose any new bookmarks, & the rest of my bookmarks are either wrong site or dead links. How do I correct? I have tried new downloads & the new Firefox acts just like the messed up version. Probably a simple setting but I give up, can't find the solution. Any help appreciated. You have my permission to change any setting needed to fix Bookmarks. Thanks, James

Now that some bright person eliminated my visible bookmarks, I find firefox is just too hard to use. You eliminated my bookmarks from the screen, but they are still there in the menu. Problem is, I have too little patience to use the bookmarks menu EVERY TIME, OVER AND OVER.

So the Firefox team has forced me to Bing. That sucks. I think this update was a tragedy for USERS, but users never matter anyway, so who cares? NOT FIREFOX. This last update ruined Firefox in my humble opinion.

Previous version, if I added a new bookmark, I would be presented with options on Where(Folder) and Tags. This is no longer offered, and bookmarks are just added to unknown within bookmarks Q. What has changed, and how do I get this option back?

I successfully imported the book marks and see multiple bookmarks folders in library. At least one of them really has the bookmarks. But when I enable show bookmarks, they are nowhere to be seen
