I keep getting a notice from Google to do a scan because I have been hacked and have a virus. I have done a Mozilla scan that reports no problem. What is going on? The message wants me to install a security app I am not familiar with.

Sometimes Firefox just closes a couple dozens tabs - I keep around 200 or 300 open - without my request or confirmation. It's not frequent, but quite annoying. Clicking History > Recently closed tabs > Reopen all tabs does not restore all. I don't know where I can find references for the lost tabs or Firefox logs where I could check what happened. My only suspicion is that I inadvertently rest my hand or finger somewhere in my notebook's trackpad, and somehow Firefox understand that as a request to close several tabs at once, but I have no clue if that makes any sense. I didn't test in Safe Mode because this happens too unfrequently for me to tell if Safe Mode avoids the problem.

Could you pls help me finding the reason for that? Does Firefox keep any kind of log I can check? Are there any keboard shortcuts or mouse/trackpad action that can be set up to do this?

Lately, after last firefox update, whenever I start Firefox, it loads normally but when I click to open a website it freezes with a not responding message. I have waited for 10 minutes before and never responds. Even opening in troubleshooting mode it won't respond.

During the last 2 weeks, I have been unable to view and use my AOL emails, for the login page demands that I enter my mozilla primary password--the existence of which was unknown to me and thus, I never knew what it was and never had to use it in any way. I assume one was set when I began tom use firefox probably back in 2016. My big problem is that I must be able to use my AOL email system to complete various essential needs, How can I fix this idiocy that apparently places some kind of security above sane simplicity and ease of use for normal people who are not computer or Internet experts?

For some time now I have been unable to see (or post) any pictures directly in my chats on Twitter (X). I can see and they will post in the main feed but not in my DM (chats) on Twitter. I have no issues on any other website I use. When I inspect the page I get this error: "Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://proxsee.pscp.tv/api/v2/loginTwitterToken. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed). Status code: (null)." If I post a picture in the main feed I can then send it to the chat and it is fine, but I can not post it directly to the chat! If someone in my chat post a picture directly to the chat then I can not see it, but if they repost it from the main feed then I can see it.

I am running Windows 11 & Firefox 154.x I have disable Badger, NoScript and ZoneAlarm (tho not all at once) I have tried installing a CORS workaround plug in (two different ones). None of these thing have helped.

Couple more pieces of information - I don't have this issue on my work laptop or my iphone app. Something on my computer is doing it - but I can't for the life me figure it out.

I love having the VPN Add-on on my Windows 11 laptop and now I see that there's a plug in for my Android Tablet, too.

I see there's options to turn OFF the VPN, but i don't need it on all the time. To save the data limit, I keep the VPN turned off.

There are some sites that I log into that require me to either not be from Australia amd some I need to be VPN linked to specific countries, like the UK or USA.

Will there be a place to be able to list particular websites to turn the VPN ON for, and, where needed, specify a country to connect to?

I was getting a frame displaying that embedded content was blocked from x, instagram, and others. I clicked the allow routine and got the embed. Now it's all over the place, scroll, scroll, scroll, blah, blah. How do I reenable the blocking?

I wanted to put firefox on my phone to connect with my Mac Mini. I did download it but cannot find it .I searched on my phone and Firefox not recognized . I wanted and was prompted to download firefox to connect my Iphone with my Mac Mini. I don't have a lot of time to deal with this

I keep having trouble with Facebook. The site keeps reacting too slowly, and just hangs up. I have to wait too long for the the content to fully load. I tried clearing my cache as suggested and that didn't help any. What can I now do to solve this problem. The Facebook problem is NOT present when I use another browser, like Chrome or Safari, only Firefox so the problem is Firefox related. Can someone please help. Thank you.

I am using Firefox to conduct Securus Jpay video connect visits and I have been unable to join a scheduled session due to what I believe is failure of the downloaded VRE client to load. When I do a precall test, everything, including the VRE client works correctly and I'm told that I will be able to run a session successfully. However, just as the video connect visit is about to begin, I am told to download the VRE client to continue. I have don't this multiple times, deleting each prior download and re-doing the download +installation. It's been very frustrating and I've tried everything. Up until about 2 weeks ago, everything was working smoothly. I'm stumped. Please help. thank you.

I'm using Firefox 153.0 on Fedora 44 with GNOME 50. Everything is up to date at this date. I know that Firefox is supposed to support fractional scaling on Wayland since version 146.0. However, it does not work on my device.

As you can see, the first screenshot is when Firefox is in fullscreen mode. Fractional scaling seems to work and the text and picture are very sharp. However, when I resize the window, it looks like Firefox does not support fractional scaling (see my second attached screenshot). The text is blurry and not as sharp as when the window is in fullscreen mode.

When a piece of text is drag-and-dropped onto FF, FF navigates to that text. So, when I am filling a form and accidentally drop the text outside a text field, FF navigates away from the page with the form I am trying to fill. I have been using FF for more than 10 years and never found this behavior to be useful. Only annoying and counter productive. If FF at least opened a new tab, I could close it and not lose the work done so far. But ideally there would be no navigation at all. Dropping a piece of text on a webpage should not trigger any navigation. I need a setting to disable that behavior completely. PLEASE!!! 🙏

from the firefox desktop I cannot go to the selected web site nothing happens. But edge works normally I find that my memorised passwords do not work unless I use EDGE I am forced to enter the address of the web site manually but then I am not recognised as a regular client and have to my password safe but the passwords there do not match the current password for the site. Going back to EDGE removes the problems In desperation I thought I would uninstall EDGE but cannot all I can do is modify it which means refreshing it. What can I do ps I am using windows 10

Toolbar disappears while choice is playing. Bounces in and out of visual without staying locked on and visible. I won't want the tool bars to EVER disappear from screen when Firefox is playing, except for home page.

Everyday Shopify asks me to verify my account but when I try to do so using my passkey it fails with the following error message: “We’ve encountered an error accessing your passkey. Try again or use a different method.”

The passkey popup from Bitwarden never opens.

I then use 2FA with my authenticator app and am able to login.

I’m using Firefox 153.0.1 and the Bitwarden extension 2026.7.0.

This used to work fine for me some time ago and I can still use passkeys using Chrome + Bitwarden on the same computer.

I've contacted Bitwarden's support and they tell me the problem resides either with Firefox or with Shopify. I've also posted this issue in Shopify's community forums and people tell me it looks like it's Firefox who's cancelling Shopify's POST request given the "user_submission_canceled_passkey" error code.
