I'm in Troubleshoot mode, no extensions running, and tabs are crashing again. Here are crash report #s for today:

Is it coincidence that this is happening on my Windows 10 machine since MS support for Win10 officially stopped? Gosh, I just don't know! grar grar grar

I’d like to give some feedback regarding the built-in PDF editor. I really enjoy this feature and use it often because it’s convenient and easy to work with. However, there’s an issue that has forced me to stop using it for now.

Whenever I add text to a PDF using Firefox’s editor, everything looks fine on my computer. But once I upload the edited PDF to another platform such as Google Drive, the text I typed disappears and turns into empty boxes. This means the annotations or filled-in fields are no longer readable on other devices or cloud services.

At the moment, the edited PDF can only be viewed properly on my own computer, and this limitation makes it difficult to share documents or submit forms. I sincerely hope this compatibility issue can be improved, because I really do love Firefox’s PDF editing feature and would like to continue using it.

Whenever I try to open firefox it automatically opens google chrome, I haven’t used chrome for over a year and i’ve set firefox as my default app for everything. I double checked the shortcut to make sure it’s going to the right place and it is. and i’ve tried deleting Chrome via Revo Uninstaller but the issue persists.

this wasn’t happening 5 minutes ago and i can’t exactly think of a reason for the change.

Frequently when I hibernate my laptop firefox prevents its (as soon as it enters sleep it wakes up)

when I close firefox it hibernates fine

when I go to powercfg /REQUESTS its the audio card that is driving the wake up

In settings I have turned media.video-wakelock. to FALSE etc and firefox still wakes the computer

Hi, I've been trying to access academic articles through my university library online database. My browser often directs the shibboleth authentication to the sign-in page of my previous university, not to my current ones. An example is provided below: the first link gets automatically changed to the send one. How can I stop the browser from doing this, so that I can log in through my current university account? We have a URL that is linked from various sites within our institution. For two of the sites that link this URL, it works fine in all browsers. One uses 'http' in their url and the other uses 'https' in their url. Our web server automatically updates to https either way. For two other sites that link this url it works fine everywhere but Firefox. In Firefox it gives 'The page isn't redirecting properly' error. If you click in the URL and then refresh, the site will reload properly. It's only when accessed via the link on the outside pages. This is happening to anyone that tries to access it, so individual browser/cookie settings don't seem to be the culprit. I've cleared the cache, checked my privacy setting, and tried other options I've been able to find online. Any ideas??

Hello! I have a problem with GeForce NOW in Firefox. When I launch any game, the cursor freezes and does not move inside the streaming window. Outside the GeForce NOW window the cursor works normally.

Details: - Only happens in Firefox - Other browsers work fine - Cursor gets stuck right after entering a game - OS: Linux (Arch)

Is there any fix for this? Maybe it's related to pointer lock or hardware acceleration settings?

When typing to search, address etc keyboard inputs are not being accepted. The typing here is fine but attempting a search or entering a url or even the space bar nothing happens.

when i sign on to my computer, frequently a prompt will appear that says i have to close the old firefox. sometimes i have to close it 5 or more times before i finally get connected to the internet. what can i do? im 83 and not tech savvy. also, when i sign on-the site crashes a lot and i should restart firefox and send a report in.

Upgrading my router for faster speed has turned into a two-day nightmare. I finally got two Yahoo e-mail accounts back, but still can't get into my gmail ones because gmail wants me to allow cookies. How do I do that in Firefox?

I have private browsing disabled on Firefox but there is a way to still use it via Ctrl +H , right click an item and there is dropdown of "open in private window" and it works. However I have no other way to open private windows since I blocked it. Also when I Ctrl+T in the private browser, it says this is disabled.

Therefore this option in Ctrl+H right click menu should not be there and I don't recall seeing it before. Maybe a bug with a recent Firefox update.

Does anyone know what has happened or how to remove this option?

since this morning, it seems firefox asks me to keep signing everywhere --google accounts, youtube, netflix etc. i go through 2step signin, i click on remember this choice but when i close firefox and reopen it i have to do everything again

a security program may be tying up the bookmark tab in Firefox. Is this true for everyone and I can expect a fix to be downloaded. or what else can you suggest.

All my addd ons (Ad Blocker, DuckDuckgo privacy essentials, Sound fixer, To google translate) are all turned on but they are all disabled. Maybe since this last update?
