I currently have a 'bad/rouge' session of Windows 7 Firefox (don't really know how that happened) open (7 'Windows', each with one empty Tab plus 1 'Window', with only 1 populated tab (Yahoo Mail)! I need to close Firefox in order to restart my laptop (strange things have been happening, including not being able to access the internet)!! On restarting, I want to be able to open Firefox with the previous session I had with my 8 'Windows', each with dozens and dozens of Tabs! Please help, I sorely need those many 'Windows' and Tabs!!!

The fundamental nature of dementia and Alzheimers is that the victim cannot remember new information. But for some time they can recall information and processes which were learned previously.

After some years, they will be unable to utilize any of the technology they depend upon - they will not be able to turn on their device to make a phone call. They won't be able to locate the menu they need to utilize. Because all that changes CONSTANTLY. They will become helpless sooner than necessary. They will strain their families and the taxpayer sooner than necessary.

The only solution is for software makers to roll out, every 5 or 6 years, a "stable version" where the user interface will not change one iota for 25 years. Of course, they must still make internal updates for security and changes in the Internet Protocol layer system. The portions of the code that deal with the user must be modular to be plugged into newer hardware and communication protocols.

When someone is diagnosed with memory impairment, they will have time to learn the latest Stable Version.

This is a very fundamental change to business as usual, but there is no other solution other than continuing to balloon the cost of elder car.

I reset a computer, deleting all my files. I want to use, as I do elsewhere, Firefox as my browser. And though I signed into Firefox using my old credentials, none of my bookmarks are there. How do I complete this setup?

I have tried to install my password manager Sticky Password several times to the firefox browser. The current version of sticky password is installed and running but the firefox browser leaves me a message saying it is not installed or running.

I downloaded the new update this morning and I cannot separate my categories any longer on my home page. I keep them in categories on the 4 separate rows and then separate them by skipping a square. I cannot do that any longer and do not like the jumble of the homepage now. How can I keep the blank spaces that are located at the bottom of the rows to separate my categories?

When using picture in picture on Prime Video, my subtitles aren't showing up in the window, but instead on the original page, despite prime video being one of the original supported websites. Any ideas on how to fix?

Hi, i locked my pc few days ago due to smart windows not recognizing my ( correct password ) repeatedly. anyway, im still trying to find a way to solve this issue.

now, i created an admin windows account get access to my old user files, found the bookmarks file. the only thing left for me now is the passwords file.i did not a Firefox online account before today

the only way currently if i did not solve the wind10 login issue is the find the passwords file physically just like i did with the bookmarks file.

can anyone help with this ??

After the latest update to 125.0.2 (64-bit) the browser works fine for a few minutes and then pages won't load. It starts working again after a restart [ for a few minutes]. I have cleared the cache & data. Chrome works ok.

Firefox slows down when I use web developer tools, I use this whenever I try to save an image on Instagram or other sites that I go to just to save an image or look for the video using the web tools.

Is there a way to fix this issue it lags the browser or it freezes for a second.

When browsing with Firefox, scrolling with the up/down arrow keys intermittently causes the keyboard to be disabled. Trackpad and touchscreen still function, but keyboard becomes completely disabled, requiring a reboot.

This ONLY happens while browsing with Firefox browser. I cannot deliberately reproduce this, but it happens frequently - up to several times a day. It seems to be tied to multiple key hits on the down and/or up keys. This only happens in Firefox, not in any other apps, including Visual Studio.

This is a brand new HP laptop. HP support says that this is a Firefox support issue because it only happens on Firefox and no other programs or scenarios.

Can you please help me to identify, troubleshoot and resolve this issue? I am a software/database engineer but this is a little outside the scope of my knowledge. I should be able to conduct any tests or provide any needed feedback at a useful level with only a reasonable level of hand holding. I suspect that Firefox is somehow inhibiting or disrupting the keyboard driver.

I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?
