I currently have a 'bad/rouge' session of Windows 7 Firefox (don't really know how that happened) open (7 'Windows', each with one empty Tab plus 1 'Window', with only 1 populated tab (Yahoo Mail)! I need to close Firefox in order to restart my laptop (strange things have been happening, including not being able to access the internet)!! On restarting, I want to be able to open Firefox with the previous session I had with my 8 'Windows', each with dozens and dozens of Tabs! Please help, I sorely need those many 'Windows' and Tabs!!!

Hello, have been scratching my head for a while on this one. Have a freshly setup install of Debian 12, using Sway (wayland) as my Window Manager. I am really struggling with slowness in Firefox, page loads take easily 15 seconds whereas loading the exact same page in another window at the same time with Chromium Debian build has near instantaneous load times. I've tried the following troubleshooting steps: - Created a new firefox profile - Tried "Troubleshooting Mode" in Firefox - Disabled ipv6 in firefox about:config and in Debian - Tried different DNS servers - Tried different non-debian specific builds of Firefox - Tried Firefox Beta and Firefox Nightly for Debian

None of these steps made any difference, and Chromium has continued to be significantly faster. Am really stuck here and would love to get to the bottom of this as Firefox is the only browser that works with a HiDPI display in Sway without blurryness. Happy to provide any and all diagnostics and reports that are needed. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: It seems to be some kind of networking issue, using a VPN solves it. But still doesn't explain why Chromium would behave differently.

When we download a pdf file from the server, the "choice box" allow to . open in the browser or . open in Acrobat or . download on my PC. The opening fails with this message. This is the problem. The download on my PC works and when I open the file from my PC it works also.

We need this function of opening a pdf or xml directly from a server IBM Power with Ubuntu. It was OK for several years until 125.0.1 Firefox version. We had no change on the IBM server.

Can you repair this problem quickly. My PC uses Windows 10

I have an issue where I go to website and I get a message that the website is temporarily available. I cannot go to a different webpage for what URL I want. I believe this has to do with history. I suspect I can get past this by flushing the history. I can get to the website I want by using a different browser such as chrome. Ho do I fix this?

IBM clone using windows 10, firefox 125

Every once in a while, maybe once or twice a week, I'll press Cmd+L to highlight the address bar, type a URL for a new website, and press enter, and instead of going to that new website Firefox just reloads the current page. It seems that this happens exclusively when the current website is gmail.com. (I might be wrong) I can't remember it happening on any other website. This problem has been occurring for me for the past year at least. Any recommendations?

Most of the time I cannot print my emails because an "add blocker" is installed. So now, I no longer use Firefox, since when I use Microsoft, I have no such problem.

Canvas is working on all other browsers normally, but when I try to login on firefox an error 403 message shows up at the two factor authentification step. I allowed popups already in this browser so that is not the issue.

I accepted this the other day but now don't want it. It is a Print popup & at bottom says Grow I can not find how to remove this. Popup shows this: Unlock the Print Button!

I have many tabs open at the same time and I'm noticing tabs from Urban Dictionary in particular are automatically changing to suspicious sites, quite a few porn sites in fact.

Is this something Urban Dictionary is doing to direct viewers to sponsors or is there a bug in my FF browser?

Whenever I'm on NPR's website listening to a radio program, I can't access any other websites on separate tabs or windows. (they simply won't 'load' or even acknowledge any commands)

I find this to be very strange.

If anyone can help with this minor quandary I would be grateful.

To open a link of a website in the background tab is CTRL+click, why is it that to open a bookmark of the bookmark toolbar in the background tab is CTRL+shift+click. It is confusing! A bookmark is a link! For comparison, both of them are CTRL + click in chromium. BTW, there is no explanation in advanced configuration preferences.

it keeps popping this message up "firefox is installing components needed to play audio or video on this page, please try again later" its been saying this since the new update and keeps telling me failed to check for update.

When I turn off the windows animations in Windows 10 the font on Twitter.com changes somewhat. I believe it is altering the character spacing/scaling.

I have not had this behavior on other browsers (Brave, Edge, Chrome & OperaGX tested). I have not noticed this on other websites, but I also haven't really looked.

When using picture in picture on Prime Video, my subtitles aren't showing up in the window, but instead on the original page, despite prime video being one of the original supported websites. Any ideas on how to fix?

We have used Firefox for access to certain sites for years. Recently, we wanted access to particular sites, but the info boxes needed would now not allow entries. Then, we went to Chrome and there was no problem entering the info. Please provide a response to resolve these issues of Firefox not allowing data entry, but Chrome allowing data entry for the same sites.
