Hello, the problem with Firefox is that it loads the pages too slow, other browsers such as Chrome or Opera are working correctly. At first everything was fine but suddenly Firefox started to take forever to load the pages. I have completely uninstalled Firefox and installed it again but the problem persists. I thought it was a problem with some extension (I only use AdBlocker and HttpsEverywhere) but restarting it in safe mode the problem persists. I also have to mention that the Ubuntu installation is recent. What could be the problem?. I am using Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS.

I have been having trouble using the functions in Clickfunnels funnel builder. After spending about an hour on chat with a tech there I finally figured out that the problem did not occur with Chrome. Is there anything Firefox could do about this? I really don't like Chrome. Thanks, Steve

My current PC Firefox Browser (ver 87.0 (64 bit and up to date) has the following problem.
For example when I go to Yahoo.com and pick a news story, there is always a link.
I press link and nothing happens. All the pictures don't show up in link.
However, when I open a new Firefox Browser in a new tab or even in a Chrome browser it works.
What is the solution to fix this?
Thank you.

Hi, For a couple weeks now, whenever Firefox is open, I can't control other software with the keyboard media keys. I had fixed the problem before by setting the flag media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled to false, which worked for a while. But now it doesn't. I also tried setting dom.media.mediasession.enabled to false, and all 4 combinatios of the 2 flags. Firefox keeps capturing media keys. Tried disabling every addon shortcut too, as some other webpage recommended.
Note that it happens even if there's nothing in firefox, ie 1 tab on the "home" screen. Close Firefox and Spotify starts responding. Open Firefox and it stops working.

Long story short... this is my first Mac (MacBook Pro 13-inch, M1, 2020). I noticed that there is a mini Firefox icon at the end of my dock before the "stack" downloads folder and trash icon. I was wondering if anyone else has the same issue. Restarting seems to help but comes back, removing Firefox from the dock also seems to help but once it's back in there it comes back after a while.

I have noticed a recently developing event in Firefox. When scrolling through some pages such as LinkedIn or Facebook, my screen will suddenly go completely white. It seems to freeze for a second or two, then comes back. This has only been happening for about the past two or three weeks, so since about 1 April 2021 for time reference. My About Firefox shows I am running 87.0 (64-bit) and it is up to date. I completely uninstalled - including the deletion of the Mozilla folders per info on the web - then reinstalled. This did not correct the issue. I also run Chrome and do not experience this issue when using it.

I am using Windows10, Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.928) with all available patches installed as of 04/14/2021, and am using Firefox 87.0 (64-bit) as the default browser. I have suddenly begun to get the subject error message (Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.) in Firefox, whenever I try to open an email web link from within Thunderbird. Until a few days ago, the email web link always opened up in a new Firefox browser tab.
If I change the default browser to something else, the email web link opens in a new tab in that browser.
I have tried every solution that has been recommended in this support forum to no avail. The error pops up even when Firefox has been started in safe mode. I have created new profiles to no avail. I have even gone so far as to totally uninstall Firefox, then manually rename all of the Firefox directories in my user profile and then install a clean version of Firefox. So far, I have not been able to get rid of the problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello! I'm using firefox in tinycore linux to show chromeless some websites but sometimes the screens go white. As this is nothing that happends all the time just doing an F5 or refresh helps to restart the page and works fine. I need help to: Detect the white screen in firefox with a script in bash if possible.
I've searched for firefox command line but I can't find more deep command line to get this error and then execute a script to fix this.
The help from firefox -h I get is this

A problem I'm not sure Firefox has addressed or resolved in all the years I've been using Firefox - even after it changed its programming, and the way it saves session (or even bookmark) backups to the profile folder, is: whenever Firefox is forced to shut down after a computer software issue (like freezing, blue screen, extreme sluggishness, etc.), and we presume (with fingers crossed) that Firefox will open back up with all our tabs intact for the past 7 - 20 days, but instead opens with them all missing and forever gone - even after immediately and instinctively proceeding to the profile folder (before shutting down Firefox) to recover them using Mozilla's recovery steps to replace the "places.sqlite" file, I periodically find that every single one of the recovery files has been re-stamped with the same date and time (and missing data) as the new places.sqlite file.
So I hope and pray, that because this issue happens to thousands of Firefox users over time - no matter what Firefox version update their using (because it has happened in several versions for me), that a terrific way to prevent forcing users to find and use a great sessions manager addon that saves tabs (with all their history - that won't also crash or easily be written over), or forcing users to constantly worry and remind themselves to manually backup the required profile files daily, or having to remember minimally, to backup the profile files "before" opening Firefox after a crash, (which seldom happens), that Firefox offers its users the option to set Firefox up to continuously and automatically save a complete new (additional) set of backup files to a different folder of the user's choosing, with the extra option to save a "set" number of session backups, where Firefox can't access them upon opening. Imagine how much anguish, anger and self loathing Firefox will eliminate in the world with this one simple option.
Here's another wish-list item. If Firefox could present the list of open Firefox windows that appear at the top right of the screen whenever hovering the mouse over the Firefox icon in the taskbar, I wish for the popup list to permanently nudge down so it "never" covers up my open tabs in each of the open window's (which is how I know I determin which of the numerous windows to navigate). And of course the list should self adjust whenever I turn the "Menu Bar" on or off. Thank you, in advance, for considering these two important items toward the Firefox experience.
If you're wondering why I haven't moved on to the latest version. It's because I all too "often" encounter my valuable "business" addons no longer working, and the miserable task of trying to go back to the previous version, or trying to find new addons that work half as good. Sometimes all of my addons disappear. I also wish I could turn off Firefox's constant reminder, to upgrade since I've asked twice before, with no Mozilla reply. Thank you again.

Debugging steps:
Tried clearing the cache & reloading Tried disabling ell extensions+ running browser in Safe Mode. Tried several different streams: some streams w/ no customization might fix the problem, but it's not entirely clear to me which streams are "completely" customization-free. Tried different browser: Edge does not exhibit this issue
The Problem:
Been noticing this problem in Firefox at https://cytu.be over the last couple of months; this seems to be happening with any stream on the site, ; I don't remember exactly when I started noticing it. This is observed directly on the website, not any third-party site.
Messing with stuff outside of the web player seems to have a tendency to break the web player's volume control, resulting in its volume maxing out and desyncing from the video stream; it almost sounds at times like the audio stream is restarting from the beginning of whatever video is playing, while the video stream continues as normal. I've seen it happen mostly while using a wireless remote + Fliirc to adjust settings (mainly OS volume, brightness, and f.lux settings) but it can also happen from my keyboard, as well as manipulating the web player's volume control too much, and also zooming in/out the webpage too much. Clearing the cache & reloading doesn't work, and neither does disabling all add-ons, or running Firefox in Safe Mode. The only solution I've found so far is to refresh the webpage.
Spoke with site's developer, who remarked that he had not heard of anyone else experiencing this bug, and suggested it must be a Firefox issue; something about how the browser interacts with the OS' audio subsystem is probably causing this bug.
Does not seem to happen in latest version of Edge, for some reason.
Running the latest build of Windows 10 64-Bit Windows 10 64-bit OS Build 19042.928 and Firefox 64-bit 87.0.
