When trying to download a college lecture, instead of downloading, the file opens and runs in a new tab. In General Settings "Save files to" is set to "Downloads" and "MP3 file (audio/mp3)" is set to Save File. This worked fine for several years until the last few months. It currently works correctly in my Chrome browser, but I prefer using Firefox.

Some months ago, I unfortunately typed a password in the username field of a local page (access to my Internet box, oh Noes).

Since then, it appears each time I remove the access data in the Firefox settings. When entering data again for a login without password enquiry, the password becomes invisible again, and vice-versa.

It is impossible to show the phenomenon using a screenshot, as the password immediately disappears.

I want to visit http://bispebjerghospital.dk/ . I have seen on https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/www.bispebjerghospital.dk that it's DNS isn't propagating correctly, so I turned on "MAX PROTECTION" for DNS, hoping that it would let me see the site.

But Firefox showed me "Unexpected error" the first time I went to the site. And then I clicked 'always allow' and now it just spins and spins with no response visible.

How can I visit the website from one of the countries with red X's on whatsmydns?

PC/WIN7 - I access my bank and get a login screen from them... when I enter my name and password I get a "FILE NOT FOUND" ... but it accesses just fine on my android phone or on my other laptop running WIN10... maybe a problem in firefox site permissions ?? Used to work up until about 4 mos ago....

When activating reading mode with a PDF file, the content of the file is not reproduced in the reading mode window. FF doesn't reliably open my last session. It used to but for nearly 18 months now it has become hit and miss. I have FF docked on my taskbar (Win 7 sp1) when I click it some times it opens all my tabs (I have it set to do that) but more frequently it doesn't and just opens one tab. Usually I catch it and in history select the tab showing many other tabs and I get it all back, but this doesn't always work like today, no option to do that because there's nothing there. When is it likely to be fixed, I've been complaining about this for months. I've even suggested FF collects a stack of last sessions (say 20) each time a session is closed and have a fixed entry for that in the menu, but nothing seems to change. I'm heartily sick of it, it's such a basic requirement of any browser and yet with FF it's just a pain in the neck.

When using Chrome Dev Tools, I can block a request, and when I open or close Dev Tools, the request is still in the "Network request blocking" tab. It means it keeps a history of networks which I blocked.

With Firefox, as soon as I close my Dev Tools, my blocked requests are gone. Every time I open my Dev Tools in Firefox, I need to search through my notes to remember which requests I need to block, instead of being able to simply select a request from a list of previously blocked requests like in Chrome.

I'm still running Firefox under Windows 7. I've now connected a new monitor with a resolution of 2660 x 1080 using an HDMI cable (previously DVI), and since then I've had major problems setting up websites. the websites are only partially built and I have to reload several times. Can you help me?

I am unable to Drag & Drop or Move SOME e-mails to Local Folders - I get a No Entry sign. If I restart Thunderbird in Safe Mode the offending e-mails do not appear in the Inbox.
