Hi there! I can't clear my cache. I go to Preferences > Privacy & Security > Clear Data... but my recent URLs always still show up under History (see image). Please advise! Thanks

Just now, as I was in the middle of something, Firefox popped up a usage tip about tabs. I find this disruptive. Is there a way to turn these off? If I want to know how to do something, I'll look in the help.

It's fine when you create a new feature to display a tab when I first launch after an upgrade, or to have the Help menu show a Latest Features item, but please don't interrupt my work with pop-ups.

For the moment, I don't see anything in Preferences about this. Is there an about:config setting I can add to suppress this feature?

My friend has been having issues with her account after getting a new PC. She is looking for a Mozilla support phone number or email, and has asked me to post on the forum. We've been through the self help portal and looked around all over the contact page. Any pointers are appreciated.

I'm just reinstall my windows 8. But, i don't know why the firefox appearance are weird and difficult to used because of the appearance. What should i do? Nb: It looks normal on "troubleshoot mode".

HELP!!! Tell me how to DISABLE the back and forward arrows that now come up on the left and right sides of the Firefox panel from out of nowhere. They keep destroying my work even though I try my hardest to avoid them! They have my swearing at my computer.

Mozilla opens a random page without me doing anything. Page doesnt download all the way because i think ether avast or windows firewall blocks it. Has anyone found a solution to stop this from happening. I have done a deep scan incase of a malware and avast found nothing.

Today I downloaded the latest Firefox upgrade and got a flaming orange toolbar which is difficult to read. Troubleshooting the issue by browsing the internet, I tried several things I don't remember, and also clicked on the DuckDuckGo privacy tab when that option came up. I was unable to change the color of the tab but then suddenly got a gray screen with all gray tabs. There is no color.

It is not a Microsoft issue, as I have tried rebooting several times and always get a color screen at the reboot. But when the page starts loading, all the icons are gray. I tried a system restore but after a long reboot got a message that the restore was unsuccessful because apparently blocked by my security software (Webroot). The advice was to temporarily disable Webroot but when I go into my apps, the only option is to uninstall and I am hesitant to do that because I don't know if I can quickly reinstall it without having to call Webroot customer service.

At this point I can't figure out what to do. Can you help without my having to reset everything? I always keep a lot of windows open which is one feature I like about Firefox, and really don't want to have to reconstruct all those pages.

I will appreciate your help in solving this problem, which I think is a software issue and possibly related to some things I might have clicked while trying to change the toolbar color.

My Manjaro is XFCE Desktop. Firefox Netflix subtitles were extremely small (unreadable). I just inserted a different desktop "Gnome" on the same Manjaro installation. It is the same Manjaro installation on the same computer but a different desktop I was playing with and I can switch between desktops. The problem disappeared with the Gnome desktop. Going back to the XFCE desktop the problem was still there. I never came across the relationship of the desktop to this problem in my readings. With Google Chrome on the XFCE the subtitles were readable. This is not a problem for me since I could use Google Chrome even though Firefox is my Browser of choice. For some things I must use Google Chrome like my US Army retired finance because Firefox is not recommended and doesn't work right. I do not like that the email address needs to be signed into to change things on Google chrome. On Firefox I just have to establish a local password. I am providing this for your information because I am able to use the computer to watch Netflix on my Manjaro XFCE setup. This information may help someone to find a solution if they are interested. I am going to have to see if there is some package that I can add to XFCE to correct the problem.

I have Firefox 50.1.0 on openSUSE 13.1 Linux (KDE desktop). This is the last update from openSUSE, but is now deprecated by some websites. I am reluctant to download a recent Firefox version without knowing in advance that it will work under SUSE 13.1. I am familiar with 13.1 and reluctant to update that, merely to run a new version of Firefox, as it will create complications with my multi-boot system, which includes a MSDOS 6 partition for legacy software (it took me ages to get GRUB configured to load that reliably and I'm not sure I could do it again).

Please advise what is the latest version of Firefox that will run under my elderly version of Linux and how to obtain and install it (I am not an expert Linux command line user). I am using Firefox 106.0.3 under Windows 7 to send this to you (multi-boot system), because I could not sign up with 50.1.0.

Hello, i have a problem with my account information. The story is that i reinstall my PC i tried to log in my firefox buy it turns that i forgot my password. So i change it at 12:31 on 1.11.2022. So at first time i didn't saw anything wrong but when i tried to look into one saved password it turned that i do not have any. But on the are there. Can you fix this because all my bookmarks passwords are there for years i have been with this account and i do not want to loose it.

HI! I am a Firefox user for many years, but I am encountering now problems I never had. First, before the opening of an address I get a message "Transferring data from assets.adobedtm.com" and it takes a while before I access the site. Problem 2: in Firefox settings I see a message: "your browser is being managed by your organization" But I do not belong to any organization!!! Furthermore I see a link to "ImportEnterpriseRoots" classified as "active" and "true". What the hell is this? I hope you can help solve those problems. In the meantime I will use Edge... I was trying to save a pdf to my computer. Can't find a way in the ff fillable pdfs. Directions I found say to click on file link (Apply Button), but I can't find any button like that. I can't find any descriptions of the buttons, either. Some buttons don't have a pop up that says what they do when you point at them.
