Hi, ITVX is advising me yo update my browser but when I check Firefox it says it is up to date. As it is no browser, including Safari or Google Chrome seems to work. My computer is admittedly old (10.13.6) but should this mean that the browsers no longer work? Thank you in advance

www.russellmoccasin.com won't load properly on any browser on my macbook pro running Mac OS 15.7.3. I don't have any browser extensions running, I've cleared my browser history, cookies, and cache. Still won't work. When I disabled javascript on safari and firefox, the website loaded perfectly. But I have to have JS running to use almost every other website on the internet, so what gives??

Is there any way I can prevent Mozilla from installing/enabling more AI features on my Firefox browser in the future?

I do not want AI running on my machine. I do not want AI integration in my browser. I understand I will still run into AI in the wilds of the internet, but I especially do not want these features enabled ON MY OWN MACHINE in an update without me specifically opting into them. Installing and enabling this without user opt-in communicates clear disrespect to the users.

I did a cursory search here for similar questions and Mozilla staff appear to be stating there will be no AI in Firefox unless the user specifically enables it, and it is as simple as disabling them via settings if "accidentally" enabled. This was not my experience, and it is alarming to see false information provided to users .

I have found other sources indicating the following must be set to false in about:config in order to disable browser-side AI/AI integration: browser.ml.chat.enabled browser.ml.chat.page.footerBadge browser.ml.chat.page.menuBadge browser.ml.chat.shortcuts browser.ml.chat.shortcuts.custom browser.ml.chat.sidebar browser.ml.checkForMemory browser.ml.enable browser.ml.linkPreview.shift

Is that all of them, will these disable ALL of the AI in Firefox?

Are there any other settings I need to set to false to ensure no AI is either running on my machine or the browser is not integrating AI functionality from third parties?

Is there any way to ensure Mozilla doesn't force AI features to be enabled without my say-so (again)?

Are there any privacy-minded browsers comparable to Firefox that DO respect their users with regards to forcing AI on them? It may be time to jump ship.

When I search a topic and a Youtube video appears in the searchbold text results it won't connect via the hyperlink to youTube. I doesn't give any message it just doesnt connect.

All bookmarks and history lost. Have spent over 2 hours following the steps outlined as a standard treatment for this problem, attributed to another program interfering with Firefox Profiles or bookmarks. Restarts of Firefox and PC failed to restore, Going to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks fails because when you get to the Library window for Import or Restore and select profile (I show 3 right now, all tagged as .default), there is no way in the window to accomplish a restore. You can insert a profile in the open window but there is no way to activate the restore function. Likewise when I accessed the list of 15 prior bookmark files I had the same result with the restore window. The instructions do not make any sense to me. Need somebody to contact me directly and walk through problem via phone call.

I used to have an account with everything on it

I restarted my computer and now I cant access anything from my old account. I used my same email account as before. what do I do I lost eveything

Today following a brief power outage I was no longer able to sign in to AOL with Firefox on my desktop computer. I am able to sign in to all other apps with no problem. I tried clearing my cache, restarted Firefox, restarted my computer and spent 30 minutes on remote desktop access assistance with AOL trying to fix the problem with no success. I can log in to my account using Chrome on the desktop computer and can log in with no problem using my Android phone but can't log in using my desktop computer with Firefox. I've verified that my Firefox version is updated. I am running Windows 11 Pro.

I would greatly appreciate any helpful advice.

Every few days the sidebar reappears.

I DO NOT WANT to use the AI chatbot.

Having tabs from other devices is all that useful to me. It feels like something that's just there to justify the AI chatbot bar existing.

I can access bookmarks and history from the toolbar. Don't need a new sidebar for that. They don't justify your stupid AI chatbot bar.

I DO NOT WANT TO USE YOUR AI CHATBOT. YOUR SIDEBAR IS LITERRALY NO DIFFERENT FROM A POP UP ADVERT. SO STOP HAVING IT POP UP AGAIN AND AGAIN.

when I click the mic it says enable microphone permissions but where I find that in firefox settings it needs to ask for permission I can't just enable it. So how do I get the mic to work for more chatbot?

I no longer have access to the primary account email. I went under "manage account" tried to make the secondary email my primary, Firefox sends verficiation code to my primary email. I do not have access to that email.

Firefox displays some search results in French. Microsoft Edge shows results only in English. Firefox settings are for English. Google settings are for English. How to fix Firefox or should I uninstall, then reinstall Firefox? Rick
