Firefox was once the most popular browser in the world, but then Mozilla started releasing updates every week and became disgusting. Now Mozilla has a tiny piece of the market, they have essentially lost almost everything, but they continue to shit with updates like diarrhea, which most users do not need and it's impossible to refuse the annoying, ugly constant reminder about updates. I'm not even talking about the fact that after a refusal to update to a new version, there is a forced update to a new version without permission. So, why doesn't this company learn from its mistakes and become at least a little smarter?

I could not sign into my account on Bluemountain.com but I could on Microsoft Edge. You should look into this. I have used this account many times over the years on Firefox, but starting this week the "sign in" box would not go to my account. I am writing to be helpful, since it would be sad to have to go over to Edge.

When tabs are inactive for a long time, they are unloaded from memory and their icons disappear. This is inconvenient because you need to manually load each tab to visually see which one is which, so that the icon is loaded. When I close and open the browser, the icons that are present do not disappear, it seems to happen after a while, as if some kind of cache is deleted in the browser. In such suspended tabs, there is also no place for the icon physically, and when I open the tab, the name physically shifts to the right and the icon appears.

Suspended tabs without icons on screenshot 1 are highlighted in red. The 2nd screenshot shows a list of all my extensions. I use Simple Tab Groups to hide tabs, so I have a lot of them and some kind of memory offloading is necessary, but the lack of icons prevents me from using the sessions I created earlier. And Simple Tab Groups most likely does not affect the absence of icons, because when I unload tabs from memory through this extension, the icons remain.

I would be grateful for advice on how to fix the situation.

Hi. I'm an admin using web based school class scheduling software. I have to go into student and instructor records frequently where their personal info is displayed in the form of filled in fields on a web page. Every time I exit a student/instructor contact page, firefox asks me if I want to save their addresses. Obviously I don't want to do this with other peoples info, but I'd still like to autofill addresses for my own private browsing. Is there a way I can exclude only the class scheduling website from address autofill/autosave without shutting the function off entirely for all my other browsing? Thanks .

Is this a default behaviour? If not, how can I fix this? Thanks.

When using Firefox latest version 128.0.3 (64-bit) on Win10 22H2 the "New mail" feature inside Outlook (Office365) is completely broken, check screenshot: when you click "New mail" the layout of the box is out of whack, you can type but the elements are all over the place.

I have tested it on Chromium, same login and it works just fine and shows nicely.

I've tried Firefox Troubleshoot mode and I am getting same wrong error as in the screenshot; also reseted the settings in Firefox and getting same thing.

It'd be amazing if anyone has any idea how to fix this, it has become unusable and I feel like I'll have to go back to Chromium or Brave and don't want to do it, I wanna keep using Firefox : (

Hi everyone,

I use Firefox as my primary browser for several reasons, but the main one is because it has the best Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature. However, I no longer use Windows and have encountered problems with it on various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian...). Currently, I'm only using Fedora 40, and the problem persists.

The issue is that when I click on the PiP icon, it activates normally, but when I switch windows or minimize and then maximize Firefox again, the video disappears.

I will attach some screenshots to clarify the issue.

I would like to know if there is any way to resolve this. I’ve already reset the settings, cleared the cache, and tested different installation methods (software store, .tar.bz file, apt, dnf, snap). I’ve tried troubleshooting mode and even installed the Developer Edition, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is an issue with the Linux version of Firefox.

Thank you.
