I am running a dual monitor setup. My primary monitor's resolution is 3440x1440, and my secondary is 3840x2160.

The text on my Firefox toolbars and menus looks very clear on my secondary monitor (3840x2160), it looks as I would expect it to; however, on my primary monitor (3440x1440) it's smaller which makes it pixelated meaning it's much less clear. I've been using Firefox for about an hour and I'm already bugged enough to post here.

Due to the different resolutions I need to keep the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx in about:config to the default -1.0 so the windows scale as per my Windows 11 settings.

i use Firefox as my browser, but AT&T Yahoo is my internet provider so I use a Yahoo home page and Yahoo mail. Last week they did an update, now every time my laptop goes to sleep I have to re log into Myyahoo to get my mail and my home page. It also seems to log me out of some of my other forums and websites at the same time. I'm not sure how to fix this in settings so any help would be great.

For many years I have used the ability to set shortcuts to website on the Firefox home tab, using the method given at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-items-on-firefox-new-tab-page#w_pin-unpin-or-remove-a-shortcut.

However, today, when I try to edit a shortcut link, I do not get the 3 dots menu by right clicking on a shortcut tile.

Is this a recent change, a bug, an issue with my installation (which has been stable for many years)?

How can I get back the functionality back?

I am using Firefox 127.0 (64 bit) on Windows (Windows 11, all up to date).

I tried redownloading Firefox after I saw that i was unable to download any extenstions/add-ons. Anytime i try to download something from the firefox browser, the download fails or gets cancelled. I never changed any settings, how can i fix this?

There should be a feature where you can copy the link to particular text on a webpage (much like when you click on a Google result for a certain part of an article). Where do I suggest features for Firefox?

My default search engine is Duck Duck Go. I frequently use a VPN.

I am usually in North America and want to search sites in North America. When I run a search by typing a search term in Firefox, I get results beginning in UK, and I see that a blue toggle switch has been set to UK. (See image.)

This started 2-3 weeks ago.

How do I set things so that my searches begin in North America?

I have checked "about:config" preferences and do not see anywhere that UK is specified. I don't see a region preference setting, either.

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

Win11 Version 126.0.1 (64-bit)

When I open Firefox these days, the window is so big that the toolbar is barely visible. I have to put the cursor in just the right little spot to pull the window down and resize it. It is NOT full screen or maximized, it just opens a huge window that's too far up on the screen. I just want to resize the default window that it opens with.

Hello, it seems that cycling through tabs in most recently used order is not working for me. I am running version 126.0.1 on Windows and I have the "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" option enabled on my settings page. I have only noticed this issue in the past week or so, and so I am wondering if this feature is broken in the most recent release and if there is anything I can do to get the feature to work again until the bug is fixed in a future version.

I'm trying to add the Adobe Acrobat extension for some forms since I prefer it over the app, but it does not seem to be available in Firefox's extension add-ons. The instructions I found from Adobe themselves don't seem to account for the most recent version (unclear which version I have, I got it off the microsoft store) and there's a FAQ board saying the extension is only available for versions 73 and older. Is it simply not available for me or am I not looking hard enough? Thanks!

On the iPhone and iPad it is possible to automatically open a desired URL when opening a new tab. But is it seriously not possible to do this on a Windows PC? It doesn't make sense to me, as browsers on PCs usually have more functions and mobile browsers have fewer functions.

I cannot copy anything from the Firefox browser. Copying works in every other application on my PC. Running Windows 11 Home and Firefox 126.0.1 (64 bit). I can copy things from other applications such as wordpad or Chrome and paste them into Firefox, but as I said, cannot copy anything from Firefox itself. Highlighting text in Firefox gives me the option to copy it, but when I do that and then try to paste it elsewhere, the paste option is grayed out. I have already tried a refresh of Firefox and a complete uninstall and reinstall. This issue has persisted for months, but today was the day I set aside time to fix it, and thus far I have failed. Please help me restore full functionality to Firefox!

I visited about:support for the first time today, and I notice a list of Add-ons I was unaware of (i.e. I did not installed these), and I have questions.

Some of these made me think about the search shortcuts I see in Firefox's search setting:

Are these preinstalled in the Firefox browser? What is their function? Are the search shortcuts and these add-ons associated?

I am unable to have autofill at all, every guide will direct me to somewhere in the settings that does not exist. Do I need to download a seperate add on?

Can I have more than one bookmark toolbar at the top of the screen? I am a teacher and I have at least 12 maths bookmarks I would like to display as well as my standard / personal bookmarks.

The settings window opens automatically when auto fill is used. Each time I click on the pre-fill bar on a webpage, the settings window/menu opens automatically. How do I stop this from happening? (but continue using auto fill). Thank you

I changed the 'mousewheel.with_shift.action' to a '5' in 'about:config' to be able to use pinch zoom on my desktop with a keyboard and mouse, like I'm able to do on my phone or laptop with a touch screen. This does work properly and I'm able to pinch zoom by holding down the Shift key and scrolling my mouse wheel up and down.

However, there is an issue of sensitivity. The pinch zoom is painfully slow, and I have been unable to adjust its speed. If there exists an option to change the pinch zoom sensitivity, I'd greatly appreciate the help.
