Am trying to update my email address. When I try to make the secondary the primary, it wants a verification code entered. The field for this code will not let me paste it or enter it manually. Will this glitch be fixed soon?

I reinstalled the Visual C++ and Firefox loaded when i ran the Firefox repair but totally locked up. Unable to get to settings or any website and will not run after closing it.

I am a Salesforce (improveit! 360) user, exclusively browsing with Firefox for over 12 years without any problems. The most recent Firefox update 125.0.2 (64-bit) has caused an issue with my staff calendar. I have reached out to improveit! 360 they are a force.com developer and they will not help, said the error is caused by Firefox interpreting the code. I have figured out a work around to get the calendar to load correctly for a short term solution. Below is a screenshot of the error, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning, I have a problem with disappearing bookmarks, but I can organise the backup of the places.sqlite, but I assume that won´t be enough to recover, therefore my question is, which files would be needed or is the one mentioned sufficient?

Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

When I move the cursor over the bookmarks bar the Tabs bar opens and closes causing the bookmarks to move up & down and prevent the cursor from using the bookmarks bar, How can I fix that?

A few weeks ago I began, while trying to connect to Kaiser from an email message, to get a response that said it was unable to connect because "server not able to redirect." I wasn't getting any error messages from any other sites or attempts to connect with any other sites.

I contacted Kaiser and got some tech office in California (I'm in Hawaii). I did all that they suggested, i.e. "cleaning up" my computer, and I even paid and installed a program called "CClean", and used "Ninite." After making all the "clean ups" the error message was still happening, and later it even mentioned Firefox in the message.

At that point I had no idea what to do and went to "help" on the application menu. Did the "troubleshooting" a couple times, and then saw a "refresh" button, that I thought was probably, and looked innocuous; this led to a bunch of other things that I certainly didn't want to mistakenly perform anything untoward.

After all this I was finally able to link properly with Kaiser, BUT ALL OF MY TABS WERE GONE!

This seems to be a real problem on Firefox, since I've NEVER seen anything that is easy to select to "resolve", "reinstate", or "RECOVER" tabs. I've seen many of the same questions about TAB recovery before.

I've been with Firefox for probably a couple of decades now, and this seems to be a major issue without any "easy" solution. Or, am I just missing something completely?!

I'm curious if it's possible to configure Firefox on your own to make it a portable browser. Specifically, I want to disable data encryption and machine ID checks. I know that some chromium-based browsers allow you to do this through specific switches that turn these features off, resulting in a fully portable browser. While I'm aware of third-party applications that offer ready-made solutions, I prefer not to use them for security reasons. I'd like to prepare my own version of Firefox.

I understand some may have security concerns, but I know what I'm doing. The files will be stored on an AES256 encrypted drive. Could anyone share insights or guides on how to achieve this with Firefox? Thanks a lot

PS.For those who might suggest using synchronization, I assume that, similar to Chromium, Firefox can't sync all plugin settings, and for me, plugins are essential—without them, it's not really a browser.

When choosing biometrics for 2-factor authentication, sometimes Firefox will only prompt for a physical hardware key, and Touch ID does not work. Support for built-in biometrics is inconsistent.

For reference, I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 with an ARM processor.

Many questions and answers I see regarding the sync function. I would like to know the depth of what Firefox does. I have multiple PC's and an Android. What is the depth of sync for extensions? Is it possible to have mirror images of the entire Firefox setup duplicated? It would be spectacular to move from one PC to the other and find that Firefox has the exact same setup.

Running Firefox 125.0.1 on MacOS 14.2.1, all audio input is very quiet for all applications, not just Firefox.

Experiments I ran:

• people can barely hear me in Google Meets
• microphone works great in Quicktime (making a recording) when Firefox is running but not receiving audio input
• microphone is very quiet in Quicktime when running a Google Meet in Firefox
• microphone is very quiet in Quicktime when running a discord voice channel in Firefox
• microphone works great in Quicktime when running Google Meet in Chrome

This started maybe ~3 months ago for me. I'd love to see a fix, since Firefox is my favorite browser in most other ways - otherwise I'll have to give up and switch to Chrome at long last :'(

Whenever I have Firefox open on Windows 11, my windows key doesn't work. I can assure that its Firefox because whenever I close it, the windows key starts working again. This is really annoying because I normally use the keyboard and having to move my mouse to the bottom just to open the menu gets annoying quick.

I've received my new PC and will be migrating from my old PC (Windows 10) to the new PC with Windows 11.

I use local folders in Thunderbird to keep various projects separate and more easy to manage. I have copied the current Thunderbird profile on to an external hard disk, I have found the location of the local folders and they reflect the structure in the Thunderbird screen I see. Thunderbird has been unstable for a few weeks so I would prefer a clean install but don't want to lose a lot of content that I still need.

1. Is there a way to copy over just the local folders, eg export them, rather than the whole profile? I deliberately haven't cleaned the server recently so that I can get back emails that still are in the in_tray but once they are in local folders they disappear from the Yahoo server. 2. Is there anything else significant I should be aware of before migrating? There is a backup on Mozilla but I prefer a clean install.
