The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

any idea how to resolve this?

This is my first time asking a questions, so I may not be doing it quite right. Anyway, after downloading the update to 37.0.1, viewing pdfs became different. I now get a separate download window (which I didn't get before) and when I go to the downloaded pdf file, I now have to answer several questions before I'm able to get the Reader to run. I believe pdfs used to just open up automatically in a new tab without having to do anything. Is there a way to restore that behavior? Thanks for your help.

Every time I try to log in to my bank's secure website with Firefox at https://www.huntington.com/ I get a grey triangle icon with exclamation point and the message when I hover over is "This website does not provide identity information". You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.gmail.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified. What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate. www.gmail.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

New Firefox user. Frequently I visit text only page- data strings are quite long. The default view for text only appears to be "Wrap Long Lines", which defeats the sorted information by line. Fortunately I found Page Style under View when I turned on Menu Bar. But when I revisit or refresh the page it defaults back to the word wrap, its getting old. Is there a way to change the default to "Basic page style"..or turn off word wrap, permanently. I looked under options but just havent seen a way to change this. Thanks

When I've been playing YouTube videos lately, I've noticed that a bunch of black boxes have been appearing over the player interface (The controls below the video) while the video is playing. Unfortunately, I can't provide a good screenshot, as the boxes come and go too quickly for me to get them. This issue still occurs if I restart Firefox in safe mode. I think it started happening with Firefox 37.

Hello!

I'm testing a security flag in Firefox's config that will let my ignore HSTS certificate settings, but it doesn't actually seem to do that. I've triggered a certificate error from facebook.com, and attempted to set security.cert_pinning.enforcement_level to 0 as shown in the image to ignore the warning, but it won't anyway. I know that facebook.com is a protected domain (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/codesearch#chromium/src/net/http/transport_security_state_static.json), but I was hoping that the config change would override the cooked in protection. Can anyone confirm that the list can't be bypassed?

Hi there, let me explain my problem.

We need to offer an book to people buying for donation to congress. ( Order form is here: http://christian-heritage.eserbia.org/order )

So, we have page for selecting persons or institution for donation. Buying goes via PayPal. After patron pay books using PayPal we must know whom to donate payed books.

We have tried following: 1. Patron should select person in the page ( http://christian-heritage.eserbia.org/order ) 2. After this he should click on PayPal button "Pay Now" and this click brings user to PayPal. ... and how to record patron's choice in the form ( http://christian-heritage.eserbia.org/order ) ? After one submit form to PayPal, all data about users selections in the form are lost.

Solution was : On click on the button "Pay Now", before submit, collect patron's selections (using JS) and using AJAX post data to php script for saving to database. After this, submit only books quantity to PayPal for buying. And this works in all popular browsers except Firefox (tested in Chrome, IE, Opera and all works fine.)

More details with codes (code is simplified):

$('#beforesend').on('click', function(){

  var data = 'quantity=' + books_qty;
   $('#result li').each(function(ind){

data = data +"&dat[][users choices from form]" });

     ....
      $.ajax({

url: "app/ordering.php", //Record user choices to database. type: 'POST', data: data, dataType: 'text' }).done(function(dat) { console.log(dat); }).fail(function(jqXHR, textStatus) { console.log("Firefox paranoia..."); return false; });

      $('#buy').submit(); // Without this line AJAX works... but we can't send post to PayPal.
      return true;

}

I can't see security risk if this AJAX post goes to the same domain as script domain.

As I said, this script worked in all tested browsers except Firefox.

Sorry for my not so best English. :(

Best regards.
