I am trying to install Firefox on a new computer but I keep getting stuck on the confirmation code that is supposed to be sent to my email address. I have not received the code after several attempts. I have been waiting for about 30 minutes. I have checked my spam folder and I have added accounts@firefox.com as a safe sender. I download a file that cannot be opened or is corrupted. I am sending the relevant files in the attachment. I would send you the files I downloaded, but your form doesn't allow it. Microsoft messed up the latest Firefox update. I had to re-install Firefox from the app store on Win11. I thought id would be a simple task of logging into my account. But all my setting appear to have been lost; home tabs, bookmarks, add-ons, etc. I have tried to sync from the settings menu and no different. The previous firefox install is still on the laptop but does not start.
Any ideas? I have searched everywhere I can think of and an hour later coming here. The bookmarks still appear on my phone at present.

I know it's Firefox because I tried downloading that file via Opera browser and that succeeded . Dowloading zip files from the Xerox website gave no problem, only DEB files .
