Every time I go to Fox News, the video at the top of the page drops to the lower right-hand corner. It's an annoyance I've been searching for a way to eliminate. I have pop-ups blocked in preferences and I have a couple of different pop-up blockers, but nothing seems to work. I'm currently using Firefox 114b.09 on a Mac Desktop.

Hi,

I've been encountering a strange issue where colors (especially whites) in the video player are super washed out. This only happens when HDR is turned on in windows, and only happens in my Firefox Developer Edition installation (normal firefox works fine). It also doesn't show up in any windows screenshots - the colors revert to normal when I'm in the screenshot GUI. I've attached photos below of a youtube video, the left is firefox DE and right is normal firefox, both in and out of the screenshot GUI so you can see the difference.

I'm on Windows 11, and I'm not sure what caused the issue. I've tried both refreshing and reinstalling firefox DE to no avail. Pretty stumped on this one, and would appreciate any help!

Hello, is there a 'Force Dark Theme on pages' feature in any Firefox browser, whether Developer edition or Nightly or ... i'm using Opera just because i can force dark theme on any page while Firefox i trust it and consider it better as browser but i don't use it just for the lack of this feature

Here's how your site looks when i use this feature on Opera, it's attached

And here's how your site looks like on Firefox browser even if i have enabled and selected Dark Theme in your settings, image is attached.

Please add this feature and do not depend on Add-ons or Extension as these community or individual developers' Extensions/Add-ons require full access of browser data, and this is not a secure practice

在全屏模式下,如果按Esc以退出输入法的弹窗,会直接退出整个全屏模式。 When I typed something, I may press "Esc" to quit the input method popup. In this case, the fullsreen mod should not be cancelled. For example, look at the attached picture, which is taken when I'm inputing something in the fullscreen mode. In this case, when I press "Esc", the expected behaviour is to close the input method popup without closing the fullscreen mode. The bug has existed for long. I'm using the latest Firefox version for Windows 11.

Hello Firefox Browser developer. When you go to view the video player does not open in full screen. There is a frame left, right, and bottom. It is equally displayed both on YouTube and, for example. In picture-in-picture mode, everything opens correctly. Cleared the cache. Opens fine for the first time. After the second loading of the browser - the frame is formed again. The problem is clearly on my end. Is it possible to install a third party player? Thank you

Firefox Developer Edition does not allow to sign in to few particular websites. Whenever I click sign in/up button, the webpage first tries to connect me to the log in/up page (for example Firefox pocket, Bing, any Microsoft websites, any government websites) but after few seconds it just redirects to the page where I was, i.e, it just refreshes the page. I tried to get help from available forums in Mozilla support (for example, using troubleshoot mode), but nothing is effective. As an example I am attaching few screenshots while trying to sign in to Bing using troubleshoot mode.

Hello, While I do in fact the like the amount of customization that's available while using the firefox browser, there are certain aspects of viewing certain webpages that I'd like to improve upon. Certain different chromium based modern windows browsers have different experimental flag settings that let you choose different background settings instead of all or none like firefox seems to do. I'm enclosing a couple screenshot's of what I'm referring to when I'm using the microsoft edge chromium based browser for your reference. Currently I'm using the following add-on to at least temporarily help me with my current issue: https://github.com/m-khvoinitsky/dark-background-light-text-extension. In the attached image while using firefox while viewing the msnbc webpage, currently the displayed colors are totally out of balance. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help that gets provided to me. David

On Firefox 113.0 (64-bit) for Ubuntu 22.04, some fields don't display backticks correctly. I think it could be a javascript issue.

The easiest place to see this is the "new Gist" page on gist.github.com. The filename field (uses javascript) renders the backtick on top of the following character. The code field (not javascript) renders it correctly. See the screenshot.

My input source is English (US) and I have dead keys disabled. I have the same issue on different machines running Ubuntu, but not on Firefox on a machine running macos. I don't have the problem in other browsers on the Ubuntu machines.

Thanks!

I've used FF forever. I am using W10 / x64. Recently - like in the last several weeks - the default file associations in W10 will not stay set to FF for htm and html files. The associations are changed, automatically, to MS Edge. I often save web pages with the extension SingleFile for later viewing or sharing. I've tried everything possible that I've been able to find including messing with the registry and xml files. FF is my default browser. This is driving me nuts as I don't really use Edge. I'd uninstall the damn thing but I'm sure it would crash the OS. Any thoughts?

A large number of developers prefer to use a vertically-oriented monitor, as it provides a more efficient way to read code. However, as demonstrated in the first screenshot, the Firefox developer tools appear cluttered and disorganized when displayed in this orientation, especially when the three-panel layout is enabled. This makes the user interface difficult to use effectively.

In the second screenshot, even with the right sidebar minimized as much as possible by default, a significant amount of screen real estate remains underutilized, resulting in a subpar user experience. The question arises as to how this issue can be resolved.

If the Firefox development team has not given sufficient attention to optimizing their developer tools for vertical monitor orientations, what is the appropriate way to request that this feature be prioritized in their development roadmap?
