How do I get Firefox to recognize the profile that is in my Library on a Mac? I didn't touch it; did nothing to it, but when I tried to open Firefox it suddenly was missing. And your Help system HAS WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION IT SO AS TO BE NOTHING BUT CONFUSING. I AM NOT A CODE JOCK OR A WEB DEVELOPER OR SOMETHING. END RESULT: YOUR HELP SYSTEM IS USELESS!!!!!!!! I even tried deleting my current Firefox and downloading a fresh app. SAME THING! Please answer back with a REAL person, not some canned menu of HUNDREDS OF OPTIONS. Or, I will simply not touch anything from Mozilla again. Now that is SIMPLICITY!!!!

Hello,
since yesterday after closing FF to restart, I encountered a problem. Everytime, when I try to open FF, it says that the profile isn´t available or not accessible.
I tried already to rename in /library/Application Support/Firefox, Profiles.ini -> Profiles.iniOLD and the folder Profiles -> ProfilesOLD.
As well I tried to call the Profile Manager from terminal using the below commands, since FF isn´t open. /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -P /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox -ProfileManager
No matter, whether I rename the profile.ini or try to call the profile manager. Each time I get the same warning, that the profile isn´t available.
Since I tried every possible solution, which I could find on the help pages, I hope to find help from the community.
best regards Corey

Dear Community, I love Firefox but here is how fonts now look like on my old MacBook Pro (v10.13.6). Why is this? How can I fix this? My Firefox version is up-to-date. As shown on the screenshots below, on Chrome fonts appear to be normal. Thanks so much for your guidance!

I am on an iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6. For the last couple months whenever I try to close Firefox it either crashes or I have to force quit Firefox to make it quit. But on restart tabs have been restored, or I have been able to bring them back using "restore tabs".
Two days ago my wife was using my computer (I was out of town) and when she finished she tried to turn off the computer. She got a message that Firefox was not closing so the computer could not shut down, then a minute later (without her doing anything) the computer did shut down.
I got home todaty and started the computer. Opened Firefox and found all of my saved/open tabs (~25) were gone. No "restore tabs" option available.
Is there any way I can locate and restore the missing tabs? I've looked through some posts in Support, but all of the crash issues I found were of a different type. And it would also be really nice if I can get Firefox to close normally again. Are there any plugins that commonly cause this kind of problem?
Thanks in advance for any help!
