After several years doing online business with my local bank, I just started getting this message whenever I tried to log into my account at the bank with Firefox 129.0.2 in Windows 11 on this HP ENVY Laptop 17:
“Access Denied You are unauthorized to access this resource. Reference ID is: f0575ab8a6.
Troubleshooting Steps. 1. Reload the home page and try again. 2. Clear your browser cache and try again. 3. Try logging in with a different browser. 4. Try logging in with a different device.”
My initial questions to a customer service rep at the bank were not fruitful. Following their advise, I tried reloading the bank’s login site. Still denied. I cleared the Firefox cache. No good. I was able to login successfully with another Windows computer, a desktop running Win 10, also using Firefox 129.0.2. I can also log into the bank on this laptop using both Google Chrome and MS Edge browsers. A strange wrinkle: I can log into my account with this Firefox-Computer if I use a Private Browsing Tab.
Please help me fix whatever I must have done so I can continue to use Firefox here.
