For some time now I have not been able to access any website secured with Captcha verification. My browser doesn't recognize that I'm a human and keeps going back to square one. Importantly: this problem does not occur in other browsers. However, I would prefer to stay with Mozilla, so it will be nice if something can be done with it. I didn't change any settings, I didn't change hardware, I didn't reinstall Mozilla, so that's not the problem. I've looked through my security settings and don't see anything that would help in this case. Especially since these are websites that I had previously accessed and logged in without any problems.

I received a breach alert from Mozilla Monitor 4 months after breach occurred - was this a bogus alert?

Today (February 25, 2026) I received an email notice, apparently from Mozilla Monitor, advising me that my "Email addresses, Partial credit card data, Passwords, and Phone numbers" had been exposed in a data breach at Canadian Tire. This email seemed legitimate (the sender was breach-alerts@mozilla.com), but since it gave me a link to login to Mozilla Monitor, my first concern was that this might be a phishing email and it would be dangerous to click on that link. Instead, I went through the Firefox settings to login to my Firefox account and from there, I checked what Monitor had reported. The Canadian Tire breach was not listed there. However, when I went to haveibeenpwned.com, the Canadian Tire breach was listed there. It showed that the breach occurred on October 25, 2025. So why was the breach not listed for me on Mozilla Monitor? And why would I have received an alert from Monitor 4 months after the breach? Was this breach alert notice actually a phishing scam perpetrated by someone using the information from haveibeenpwned.com as bait?

I just had another credit card get fraudulent charges. I have no clue how they are getting my card numbers, I have pulled all but 1 from anywhere online, but they just got another one. I couldn't get Mozilla VPN to work it just quit working at all. I turned Pocket off but I'm still getting 17 to 18 instances of Firefox. Dont know where to go now. Thinking of pulling the plug and starting over.

To whoever this new CEO is of firefox,

Stop with the AI garbage. Please.

AI is a notorious waste of space in software and all it does is bog down the experience and make everything harder for everyone. Also it is notorious for collecting information and violating users privacy like the lab rats you apparently take us for.

Stop it.

I loved Firefox because I could use it comfortably without all of this stupid AI crap making my life harder. I've already hacked my browser to make sure this doesn't appear but I'm not satisfied. To any other firefox tech reading this get that Anthony guy out of here. We don't want him, and we don't want AI.

Thank you.

I am using Firefox Desktop in Windows 10. I activated master key password for the browser. Suddenly, I noticed that the pop up appear in the browser after open. I purchased mozilla vpn. It worked fine for months until a few days ago. Now I can't use the internet at all without turning it off. With the purchased version off I turned on the vpn in the firefox browser. This seems to work fine but it is only in used within the browser. The ;purchased browser is installed on my Iphone and my Mac laptop. Same problem with both. I also received an email a day or so after the trouble started saying my password for Mozilla had been changed. I did not aske for this change. Since my internet access was shut off I couldn't initiate a change of my own. It took me another day to figure out my problem was the browser. At that point I changed my Mozilla login password. I wpou;ld ;like top keep usiong the purchased version of the mozilla vpn on both my laptop and my iphone (13) because it looks more thoroughly at data going in and out of my devices.

Thanks for your help Steve Krebs
