I updated Firefox to 111.0(64-bit) this morning. My push notification from sites I allow started running through Windows notifications instead just popping up like normal. I read an article that said I could disable this feature through Windows Settings and the push notifications would start showing up like they used to. Unfortunately after I did this I stopped getting push notifications at all. Would have left it to go through Windows notification but it makes an annoying sound every time I got a notification and that got old fast. I just want push notifications back like they used to be.

I run Firefox on Windows 10.

I downloaded an emailed PDF, then saved it to a folder on my windows PC. The image includes the bookmarks, even when I turned off "show sidebars." How can I have only the original page I want without bookmarks?

I've been using Firefox for many years. I Like it. I have used the History and History's Search function quite a few times. I normally always had Firefox find an update but ask me to install. I did those. I now have v110.0.1 installed. I did that last week after I stupidly screwed something up to do with permissions on folders. Everything seems okay now, all are fixed (all my other programs work fine now) except that in Firefox History (Ctrl+Shift+H) I can only ever see "Today" under the "History" category. I can browse, bookmark, etc. just fine. I suppose there is some setting somewhere that I've messed up but I cannot find it. Can you help me such that it shows "Last x Days", months older, etc. ? BTW I also tried mozillaistoryview.exe and it also only shows "today". Nothing in my system has changed for about a week but I browse every day. Thanks.

BTW I'm on Win10_Pro/64 whichever build/update is current.

My Firefox does not ope any wensite. It shows just error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR. I found a few solutions in Internet, but it doesn't help. I tried to reset Firefox, install new version, create new profile and etc. It does not help. Please help me to solve my problem

All new tabs give me a cursor in the ADDRESS BAR. This is unacceptable. There is a nice search window in the middle of the page, but the cursor never goes there. It appears in the ADDRESS BAR. I did the about:config handoff crap and it was crap. Is there a FIX? If so, what is it? If not, I'm using edge.

If I close developer tools while execution is paused, from F8 or by hitting a breakpoint, I can't find a way to resume the execution (with F8, F9, or by re-opening developer tools). Additionally the Threads section on the right is missing. Is there a way to resume the main thread?

Hi there, I have a website on Web flow. It is working fine in Google Chrome but some pages do not show in Mozilla Firefox. With Windows 10 autofill with Firefox never worked for me even though the appropriate options were checked. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and it worked! So happy. But that was only for about 2 weeks. And then a couple of days ago it stopped working. (Maybe from a Firefox update??) It's really frustrating and tedious even with the passwords being filled automatically when I start the login process with the user name. Is there anything that can be done?

I often send same e mail to people, so I use copy/paste from word doc. When I send the e mail it corrupts, see example below. Someone suggested I should copy/paste from notepad instead, but still same issue. Then I sent exact same e mail (copy/paste from word doc) and send via Chrome. No issue. Any suggestions please ?

Is there anyway to get Firefox to warn me before closing a window? As in: Having ONLY one tab open will still require a prompt before closing. I have all 'warn on close' in my preferences set to true, and I'm guessing these only apply to multiple tabs, as that is the only time I receive a prompt. I have browser.startup.page set to 1.

This may not seem like a big issue, and really it isn't, but I have my browser setup to clear all data upon closing, and use various other privacy options and 2-factor authenticators make singing in, should I accidentally close my window, slightly annoying to have to go through. Especially when you need to attend a meeting or event at a specific time.

After updating Firefox this morning, I am unable to log into my Intuit account. It works on Chrome. I have spent 3 hours with intuit customer support trying to fix this, to no avail.

Any ideas?

I am trying to download a walking route from the Ramblers website. The route is shown as a map accompanied by descriptive text. The page offers the option of printing the route. When the Print preview page comes up, it shows the text but not the map. When continuing, the text is printed but not the map. I am using Firefox as browser. However if I switch to using MS Edge as browser, no problems are encountered and the complete page is printed out. What is stopping Firefox from printing the image??

I can't paste text into emails (msn.com) anymore when I use Firefox. What gives? I ran tests with Microsoft and it works fine on Chrome & Edge--only problem is with Firefox. Please help

10.4.22 Yesterday I had an encounter with a browser product called the wave which uses a logo deceptively similar to the swirling fox logo used for Firefox. However, it was green and upon closer inspection it was not a fox in the swirl. Perhaps coincidentally, and perhaps not, I was simultaneously unable to open Firefox, when I tried, I opened a Firefox browser template with no content, it could not be used and it could not be exited even using task manager and had to be closed by restarting my machine. Wave was not listed among my apps and hence could not be uninstalled so I simply deleted the files only to later learn, when Firefox continued to misbehave, that some wave files survived deletion. Upon deleting those I was able to use Firefox. These problems prompted me to find out where Firefox was installed and if the files were extant. This led to a discovery that Firefox was installed in 3 different locations, to-wit: (1) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox; (2) C: Users\Jeff\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox; (3) C:\windows\ProgramFiles\Mozilla Firefox. #1 ultimately was and is the one I was able to use. It was created 11.2.13 shortly after I bought the machine. #3 was created 10.3.22, modified 9.30.22 and accessed 10.3.22 and #2 was created, modified and accessed 10.3.22 and may have been the one I intentionally installed when I could not use Firefox. Perhaps installation #3 was your doing or perhaps Wave’s doing.

In the past you have expressed an interest in knowing about persons or entities who use your intellectual property (e.g. a registered trademark) without your knowledge. I cannot add images because I intentionally removed all of the wave software I could find. I opened "troubleshooting" through the help utility and selected "share data" but am not certain you will get it. Please advise if you need anything further from me. After the above I was and am now able to use Firefox.
