Today I've noticed some horizontal lines on youtube videos. Upon further investigation, I've traced it to a single div element:

The base64 encoded image is the lines I'm seeing.

Initially after starting a new private session and navigating straight to youtube.com I had no lines. Then in that private session same element doesn't have an image:

What's odd about this is if I opened a private window and copy pasted the same video URL I would get the lines. After testing multiple times I started getting the lines even after navigating straight to youtube.com.

So I did another test: changed my IP with a VPN in a private session. Navigated straight to youtube.com, watched multiple videos without any lines. Then I logged in to my account and boom, the lines are back...

Opening the same video on google chrome browser I get a smooth gradient line image:

The browser is functioning as intended, but youtube is intentionally making their website unusable. What the f###? I have youtube premium, adblocker disabled on their website.

Hello,

Moving from an older Ubuntu 18.04 machine where Firefox is limited to version 113 to a newer machine running Mint 22 where the current version is 134.

I know how to transfer the profiles but I could not find any information on compatibility.

Would I need to install other versions before 134 to handle any changes?

Thank you

Hi All, I want to block traffic on firefox externally for managed devices via Intune, following the import of the ADMX/ADML files into intune.

I have set '\Mozilla\Firefox\Exceptions to blocked websites' to the following

  • //*.mydomain.com/*

which works, however, I also want to add hosts that are only resolving on IPs and not DNS. I can add specific IPs if known, but is there a way I can allow IP ranges? Ie

  • //10.10.*/* (this doesn't currently work)

Of the included screenshot, only the wildcard for mydomain.com and the specific IP currently work

If there is a better way to do this via intune for firefox only, please let me know.

Thanks

I have run across threads with similar questions in both mozilla support and reddit, but as they are old and archived I cannot add additional info or request clarification, so here is (yet another) new one- I understand you can go into manage data in settings to delete what you want, however in mine it only shows a handful of most recent (opened today or currently open) since my settings clears history and deletes cookies upon exiting ff.

Cookies and Site Data section shows only 40.7mb of data is stored and in Manage Data only shows 8 sites... Clear Data area, with only these two boxes selected (attached) and 'everything' (time) still only around 50mb. My storage/default folder has 1005 folders and the data is over 1.5gb; I would like to manually delete all of this and as others have tried to ask, am wondering if this is ok to manually select them and delete in windows, or using windows %appdata%(?) and if so, will the sync feature (if I just clicked 'sync now') still retain all my bookmarks when I relaunch ff? Not concerned about any browsing/form history or passwords, only bookmarks.

I most recently reported an issue in relevance to account verification using an email string in addition to 2FA App on mobile, my issue only resolved it's self after the system realized I verified the account without the email side of the equation. I'm now struggling to locate my original inquiry readily so as to add remarks and identify particularly what portion of the security mechanism doesn't like the security codes sent via email.
