I had a ton of saved tabs and groupings of tabs. I closed what I thought was my only open Firefox window then downloaded and installed the most recent Windows update. When I rebooted, I did not realize I had left a Firefox window open with a single tab. That Firefox became my default and I lost all the tabs I had. Is there any way to get those tabs back? The tabs I had yesterday, 1/22/2026 are the ones I need.

Hi I keep getting this error on Firefox. I did disable all my extensions prior to this image shown to see if it was an extension causing an issue to no avail. I also looked for an update for Firefox and saw it was up to date. I also attempted to refresh Firefox which was a successful refresh however the error persisted. After refreshing I fully uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled however the issue persists.

This error is shown however if I refresh the page sometimes the page freezes as if it lost connection and sometimes it reloads as per normal with the video playable.

Hi I have a website that suddenly started crashing. Hope you can help solve this problem. The problem is on Nettavisen.no. Using Macbook Pro. This has never been a problem before today. Kind regards Sonja

Dell installed a command update and immediately afterwards, Firefox would no longer open, either from the taskbar icon or from settings/apps. I just get a couple of seconds of the blue cycle icon and then nothing, no error message, just nothing. I did download/install repeatedly but I don't get beyond the download screen - as soon as it's 100% downloaded, that's it, no welcome window, nothing. Thanks

Why am I seeing this message on windows 11 and not on my windows 10 machine. I am still using th internet on both machines on the same network but you tube on W11 is constantly having to be refreshed. BRAVE works fine.

I am trying to access certain HTTPS website and some of them show PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR in Firefox. This error is not present in Edge or Chrome. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Here's what I've tried (none of these works):

   DNS over HTTPS turned off
   Uninstall all add-ons
   Reinstall Firefox
   Create new profile and set it as default
   Delete/rename certs.db in the Firefox profiles folder. 

I'm tired fixing errors which become more complex and solutions are written for people who have the time an knowledge to waste fixing these constant issues in FIREFOX, Time to change browser.

Hi everyone.

Basically when the browser is (I think) idle while watching YouTube, FF is constantly backing up (the timestamp in the backup file name keeps getting updated). From the settings page I thought it once every 24 hours. I noticed from higher than normal CPU usage impacting FF and the Windows search indexer. Which reverted to normal once I disabled the backup.

I checked the about config:

• browser.backup.scheduled.minimum-time-between-backups-seconds

Is set to 24 hours (86400 seconds)

But I also noticed:

• browser.backup.scheduled.idle-threshold-seconds

Is set to 15 seconds(!). Is that what I think it is? Back up whenever there's a 15 sec idle window, regardless of the minimum? Can I safely make that 86400 seconds too, or does it do something else entirely?

I cannot log in Firefox account. It says I have to log out to log into my account. All I wanted to do is to remove a phone I reset and gave away from my Firefox device logins, but everything quit working with all the AI chaos.

This has been reported to Unity.org and they can't reproduce the problem. If I open Unity.org on my phone it does the same thing. I pay to use their website and yet I can't use it in Firefox. The refresh happens every second. You have made me open a tab in "Edge"!? Do you have any idea how much I hate that!?
