the tab groups feature doesn't work. WHen i drag one tab onto another, nothing happens, other than the tabs go back and forth. Can't put one tab over another and no group is created.

The drag, pause, and drop maneuver is not working for me. I have the latest version of Firefox. Any ideas? I'd really like to be able to use this new feature. Thanks!

Regarding the new tab grouping feature, I see you have to go to "about.config" and change "browser.tabs.groups.enabled" to "TRUE" to activate this feature. But there are 3 other options - what do each of these other 3 mean?

(1) browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled (2) browser.tabs.groups.smart.optin (3) browser.tabs.groups.smart.userEnabled

I have v138.1 and tab groups are not working. When I try and put one over another to create a group, it just sides away. I read this feature would be available on v137 and up after 5/6/25🤷🏼‍♂️

I am still unable to create Tab Groups. I've followed the instructions on the update but it doesn't work. I'm using the latest version of Firefox with the latest version of Mac OS.

the tab grouping was advertised to me on my startup page? but evidently version 138 isn't compatible? And would you please help us wean off google as much as possible?

I'm really enjoying the new Tab Groups feature in Firefox. It helps me organize my tabs especially when I have multiple work to do. However, I've found the process a bit tricky because dragging the tabs sometimes moves the tabs and it takes some time for the Groups dialog to show. It's a bit frustrating.

It would be great to have a modifier key, like holding down shift or alt while dragging the tab, to instantly move them to a group or any of the groups without accidentally rearranging them. This would make the grouping process feel more precise.

When I hold control on my Mac and click on a Tab the box that opens has no option to rename or to group the tabs together....I am running Firefox 138. Clearly I am missing something. It offers a function that would save me a lot of time, I hope you can help

I have the most recent update and have been excited about tab groups, but it's still not working on mine. I thought the update would be available to all as of May 6, 2025. Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm running v138.0.1, but the ability to group tabs that was supposedly introduced in v137 is completely absent from my browser. I can neither drag tabs onto another to create a group, nor create groups by right clicking on a tab. What's up with that?

I've got Reading the full Article on GROUP TABS that has been released yesterday on My Firefox it Got Update and Installed But I just couldn't found the "Add to the Group option when I click right at any of my tab" + If I drag over one on Another Tab it just got replaced like they substitute their Places No BOX Border line Shows No Group Created NOTHING. Hello, so I have been waiting for the Tab Groups feature and saw it should be available by the 6th of May, but after waiting, still no Tab Groups, I am not sure what to do or if there is a problem.

I was really excited when they introduced tab groups, but now after using them for a few weeks the option seems to have disappeared? My groups are still there, but I can't create any new ones and if I delete one, I can't get it back. I can't find anything about the groups in settings either.

Prior to the newest update (I suspect-- as I had access to them earlier today), I was able to use the new group Tabs feature and no longer seem to be able to do so. I checked the update log and saw that something seemed to have happened within the last two or so hours and would like to see if I did something wrong or if I can get access to those Group Tabs again as it was extremely useful and awesome

Hi, First of all, thank you very much for this feature. It's very helpful. Since IE8 died I've not seen implementation of this feature as simple and good as your one.

But, are there any settings for it? Mainly asking because want to enable default grouping for a tabs opened from another "alone" tab. Would like them to auto-create group with their parent tab. And also would be great to have a possibility to change behavior like: put new tab at the start/end of the group, or to even not include tabs into existing group.

I am using the Firefox browser version 138. However I am not able to use the Tab Groups from firefox. I cannot add any Tabs to any group as there is no option for that.

I love the 'pin tab' feature and use it heavily. Every now and then my window gets closed and all my pinned tabs are gone. Not sure why it closes but I do not do it intentionally.

I am on Macbook Pro - keep the OS and Firefox versions current - this has happened over several version of OS and Firefox.

How can I recover the pinned settings easily - currently I bookmark them all and then have to open and pin them again. A real pain in the ass, especially when it seems to happen once a week.
