How to reach a site used in the past (whether typed URL or used saved Bookmark!) ---but now Firefox won't let me access now, please?! I have some sites for decorating my online gaming site. Your settings warn me that the site isn't ---https://. --- which I realize, and FIREFOX stops me from going to the site. How do I temporarily use a site, then restore the security? I appreciate how FIREFOX keeps us safe! TY!

this website 'https://m.nearbyme.io/search' automatically opening in a new tab. How i can stop it from automatically opening? Many other websites are also automatically opening in new tabs.

Please let me know how to stop these websites from automatically opening.

I have been a subscriber w/ copper.net email service for over 16 yrs. I am unable get in now, please help,it is VERY important.

I've been trying to delete cookies and site data multiple times and it will not delete, even after multiple attempts to fix it. Such as deleting Mozilla folder in file explorer and downloading an extension to delete cookies and cache. Everything else gets deleted fine except for 2 sites.

Ok. The update downloaded 2 1/2 days ago. I've used Firefox since that download. It didn't install until now. 2 1/2 days later. Why the long delay? And why don't you have something show up in the banner or toolbar that designates that an upload to Firefox is happening? Now, we all have to guess why Firefox is behaving slow and erratic, close and re-open, and check for version.

Firefox freezes - energy efficiency? Version 124.0.1 (64-bit) Windows 11, version 23H2

Firefox has been freezing up completely, all windows and does not unfreeze if I wait, if I click "wait for Firefox to respond" it will pop up again immediately, no matter how many times I click it.

I associate this problem with the new "efficiency mode" that shows two green leaves by some of my firefox processes. The pop-up by the icon says it's to "limit resources used by the process" which suggests the cause is limiting access to necessary resources.

I have found no way to disable this unwanted "feature" - although I am all for eliminating carbon emissions, I need the browser to work.

When this happens immediately after restarting Firefox, the "restore previous session" is gone, so I lose a ton of open work.

If I try ending processes one by one, focusing on the green leaves (not all have the green leaves icon), I invariably close the last window while many other processes are present, losing ability to restore history.

I have written Windows help with no response. (This seems suspicious, as a way to disable competitors.)

I do not see this happen in Chrome.

PLEASE: 1) Provide a way to restore history from previous session (e.g., all windows in last week? or recent instance?) 2) Solve this problem - is it the "energy mode" setting?

I suspect that a recent Microsoft update changed the default browser on my computer from Firefox to Microsoft Edge so everything now opens in Edge instead of Firefox.

When I checked in Firefox Settings I saw that Firefox was supposedly still the default browser. I hoped that by re-selecting Firefox as the default it would take things back to the way I liked them (Firefox as default), but I'm still stuck with everything opening in Edge and am very unhappy about that. I like the greater privacy of using Firefox, and I prefer the way it works.

How can I disable or completely get rid of Edge and get back to Firefox as default browser? I don't like being spied on, and I don't like having my choices disabled and being forced to do something I didn't choose.

If someone can help I would appreciate it greatly but in replying, please bear in mind that I'm a 76-year-old retired carpenter more familiar with hammers than with computers.

I opened my bookmarks today to find out that all my bookmarks are showing the same web address (Chevrolet.com). And when I went to Recovery, I only found the backup that Firefox did today with the single web address for all my bookmarks. Firefox was updated to version 120 on 11/21/2023.

Firefox won't start after updating to version 123.0 on Ubuntu OS.

At the same time, no errors will appear, and there is also no specific crash report that would help understand the reason.

How to restore the previous version without losing profile data?

I have made a decision on which theme & colors I want to use and have set it for default. However, whenever open my browser I have to change it to my default. Why do I have to change every time? Thanks

After the browser update earlier today I cannot log into 'You Tube TV'. The browser keeps asking for my email and password over and over and never signs me in. It keeps telling that I am signed out and need to sign in, over and over. I cleared my cache and cookies. I changed my sign in from my yahoo email to my gmail account and it still will not work. If I use the chrome browser it works fine. Please Help.

I'm not able to add site to allow camera access even though there is already one site allowed. The URL is HTTPS, and my setting for this is "Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode". This is for my cardiologist, and I'm 74 so this is very important to me.

Yesterday morning everything was fine. I attempted to check something last night on my Fidelity account, and got the following message: "Sorry, we can't complete this action right now. Please try again." Same this morning. Fidelity could not figure it out, and is sending me to you for assistance.

FYI: I am able to connect to all other accounts I attempted: NY Times, Chase bank, etc. Also, when I tried to log in to Fidelity via Microsoft Edge, I was able to get in. (NOTE: I DO NOT wish to use Edge or any other browser - I prefer Firefox)

Can someone help me?

I am one among many who keep a lot of windows open for reference. When my compootie shuts down inadvertantly I am avle to use "Restore Session" to get these back. But occasionally the system shuts down and I am unable to restore anything, and this can cost me tens of hours os referencing, and untold hours of productivity.

Could you save the open windows in an easily accessible file that we could use to restore previous sessions? This would save a lot of us considerable grief.
