I no longer see ads when I read email, look at a magazine or newspaper article etc. Some sites don't like this and won't let me view what's on them because I am blocking ads. I have looked at Options>Privacy and Security>Tracking Protection and it is not turned on. It is only on when I use a privacy window which I am not using. I have no idea where to look to be able to modify this. I have cookies enabled.

I will admit I have far fewer crashes now that the ads do not display in email and I am happy about that but when a site I belong to won't let me read there because ads are blocked that becomes a problem. Do I have any control over this feature? I only use Firefox on my pc that runs Win 7 Professional and I use version 60.3 esr 32 bit because I still run into situations where Java is required and it was explained in an earlier question that I should use Firefox esr because of this.

is this warning from firefox or duckduckgo.com? if it's from firefox the warning doesn't work when using firefox and google.com

Attempted to uninstall duckduckgo.com On line article said to 1. Press Alt+H 2. Click Troubleshooting information 3. Click Reset Firefox - > Reset Firefox - > Finish I did so. My new Firefox Homepage has ZERO BOOKMARKS!!! I seem to have lost years of BookMarks. Any ideas / help would be most appreciated!!!! Thank you for your time & interest. --Terry

I'm used to the icons on the old page, but some of the icons got accidentally deleted. The new tab page started coming up with duckduckgo and all the tabs returned, and I could also get the old page up. then the new tabs page stopped coming up. Can I get the ddg new page up as a non-default?

When I search for products, the only results displayed are from Amazon. I don't want Amazon results. I'd like a combination of any vendor except Amazon and physical stores that carry the product. How do I get these settings?

When I am searching in duck duck go search engine, it will show error: the connetion has timed out, Problem loading page. Some websites are not open in a browser, like, sololearn.com, screenshots.firefox.com etc. Please solve this problem.

FF v66 duckduckgo search engine I enter a search and FF sits there using lots of CPU power and gets no results. Copying the URL to Chrome gets immediate results. Switching FF search to Google gets immediate results.

WHY? Is it time to switch default to Chrome AGAIN?
