Dear Sir or Madam; I downloaded a login CSV file from the Firefox browser. The date columns format in the CSV login file is ‘1.64055E+12’. In EXCEL, 44556.79166 would translate to 2021/12/26 18:59:59. The translation of ‘1.64055E+12’ should not be the same exact date, but should be in the same date range, as the 44556.79166 number. I’m not a mathematician. Would you please show me how to convert the '1.64055E+12' value to an equivalent excel date/time number? I could then format the excel date number cells to an yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss format. These scientific number values are in the Firefox login file CSV downloads so I assume they were intended to be used in EXCEL spread sheet. These values converted to EXCEL date values would help me sort account password date change records by account name and change date. I could review sorted account records (and thus determine the current password for individual old accounts). Your solution would help me immensely and I appreciate your time. I have two windows of Firefox 94 for Linux next to each other, each with its own user profile. It would be very handy if I could drag and drop tabs and items in the bookmarks toolbar from one profile into the other. Apparently this does not work out for me. Am I missing some tip/trick?

It is possible to transfer tabs by drag and drop when both windows belong to the same user. Handy. Obviously the two windows share the same bookmarks toolbar, so the point of transferring makes no sense for the bookmark toolbar.

If that cross-profile transfer is not possible, it is definitely a feature request. This would help greatly in merging piecemeal the bookmarks of two users. Say, to separate private and work bookmarks from time to time.

Hi, I'm migrating to a new PC and followed the below article to open all my currently synced tabs from the old machine on my new one: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1357426

The issue is that the on the new machine when I open all synced tabs, the order is reversed, i.e. my latest tabs that are on the right on the old machine are now on the left in my new machine. How do I tell open all tabs to keep the same order in the new machine? Any help is greatly appreciated..!

I disable my option "Restore previous session" and it works fine if i close my firefox.

But if i do not close my firefox and reboot my computer directive, the session will restore at next startup.

Obviously when i reboot my computer, I don't want to see my tabs anymore, but I failed to find any setting to do so. I also find someone say to set `browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash` in `about:config`, but it doesn't work, and I don't think it is the proper way to solve this problem because reboot is not crash.

My homepage has shortcut links to various sites. Those which I visit frequently I have pinned to the page. I would like to be able to add and pin other websites to the page. The only option that appears to available is to go through all the unwanted ones to dismiss them and wait on serendipity to produce the ones I want to keep. All the advice online to the same question is support for Android.

Folks frequently bemoan that Firefox doesn't have the same Ctrl+Shift+T keyboard shortcut to Restore Previous Sessions that Chromium has (heck, I'm one of them), but I noticed that Ctrl+Shift+N will restore Previously Closed Windows. From a backend perspective, is there a functional difference between these two options? Does using the Restore Previous Sessions button in the History panel behave differently in regards to, I don't know, cookies or something? I'm a little hazy on what a "session" is and why it's important.

I realize that the page I am using findbar to search from reloads and scrolls to the top using some Javascript so that when I return to the searched page from a popup, the last search item is no longer focused when I come back so (or press F3 or Ctrl G) e.g. if I found the 29th hit, then I have to click down 30 times to get to the next search hit.

I tried using add-in Luminous to disable the reload/scroll to top of the page that I am searching but failed. It is a complicated add-in.

Is there any way to jump say 10 hits down at once?
