I'm getting the error message "No video with supported format and MIME type found" with mp3 files at https://www.gatherthepeople.org/test/styled-7/page-3/ when using Firefox 123.0 on my M1 (ARM) iMac running OS 14.3.1; when using Firefox 123.0 on my M1 (ARM) MacBook Air running OS 14.3.1; when using Firefox 123.0 on Win 11;and when using Firefox 115.8 on my Intel MacBook Pro running OS 10.14.6.

The same mp3 files (https://www.gatherthepeople.org/test/styled-7/page-3) play without any problem with Chrome and Safari on the Mac and with Edge on Win 11 .

Ever since I installed Firefox 123.0, when I execute a search on Yahoo.com, Firefox automatically opens up a new window or tab (depending upon how you have it set up in settings) when it didn't before. When I try this with Firefox using Google.com to search, it does NOT open up a new window/tab. But when I try it with Yahoo.com when using Google Chrome, it does NOT open up a new tab. So it would appear that the behavior is being caused by something in Firefox.

I tried making various changes in settings and Firefox about:config that were recommended in previous questions here, but they did not alter the behavior. I would like the behavior to return to simply performing the search within the same window (I can always scroll back to get the original page). Can anyone help?

Yesterday morning everything was fine. I attempted to check something last night on my Fidelity account, and got the following message: "Sorry, we can't complete this action right now. Please try again." Same this morning. Fidelity could not figure it out, and is sending me to you for assistance.

FYI: I am able to connect to all other accounts I attempted: NY Times, Chase bank, etc. Also, when I tried to log in to Fidelity via Microsoft Edge, I was able to get in. (NOTE: I DO NOT wish to use Edge or any other browser - I prefer Firefox)

Can someone help me?

I have been signing in to a certain secure website for years on Firefox. In the last 24 hours, it won't let me sign in and all I see is:

"Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."

I have tried 20 times. There is nothing wrong on the website; my wife can access the same on her Mac computer.

The following html inscription animates when clicked (the duck in the image quacks), but for some reason, the animation doesn't activate on http://ord.io with the firefox browser. I wanted to bring this to your attention because It works on http://ord.io with every other browser.

I am visually impaired and I need the Fonts to be Bold. I have changed the font and size but I can hardly read them they are so light. Especially on the Book mark page.

After latest Firefox update this morning, attempts to login to Fidelity.com fail with message "we can't complete this action right now". No problem if I use Chrome. I cleared cookies and rebooted. Running Windows 10. Fidelity technical support not seeing anything obvious but suspicious it is related to this latest update.

I signed up and sync'd my data from my laptop before it died, but when I signed in on my desktop none of my bookmarks or passwords are the ones from my laptop account, its all still my desktop's. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and firefox automatically restored all my desktop crap. I really need my laptop's bookmarks, any advice? Thanks in advance

Update 123.0 deleted all my firefox data from logins.json. backup files are corrupted or have no data. No support article suggestions have worked. The .json files indicate that there is data, but appears blank in notepad, and wont load in json reader in firefox

I use Firefox stable on both my Mac and my Win 11 PC. On the mac i use the developer edition. The issue I have started about 2-3 weeks ago. Most of the time, playing youtube 4k videos just either freezes and doesn't buffer, or just skips and reloads. It is not a network issue. I've tried playing back the same video with ARC on OSX (which is based on chromium) and with Chome on windows. It works flawlessly so it's not a network issue. I've tried disabling adblocker, all the extensions, nothing. It's either Youtube messing with non google products again or a problem with Firefox itself. I even have Youtube premium and this stuff still happens without adblockers.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've experienced a problem with Firefox on the Metacritic-Website. As you can see on the attached picture on the left, it's not possible to set a filter for "release date". There's no problem when I use Chrome (see picture on the right). The problem still persists when I start Firefox in safe-mode, so it's not related to an extension. I could replicate the problem on another system as well. Firefox on iOS has no problem setting the filter however. Do you know what the problem could be?

Firefox Browser 123.0 (64bit) Windows 11 Pro

Lately I have been experiencing issues/difficulties to access certain websites either an security issue (eg Site needs to verify the security of my internet connection. This verification process times out and of course results in not getting access. Or the following message gets displayed when accessing this site:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to mynikonlife.com.au.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies"

In both the above cases I experience no difficulties, using Microsoft Edge. Is there an solution to this or do I start using MS Edge (which I do not want to)?

I have enabled privacy.resistFingerprinting in Firefox. I have also set my default zoom level to 133%

When I open a website (e.g. https://github.com/), it is zoomed to 133% as expected. If I then navigate to a page on that website (e.g. https://github.com/pricing) using the menu at the top of the page, then the new page is still zoomed to 133%. So far, so good.

However, on the new page (https://github.com/pricing) if I increase the zoom over 133%, then navigate back to the original page (https://github.com/) using the menu at the top of the page, then my zoom level is reset to 100%.

Is this expected behaviour? I would have thought that the zoom level would be reset to 133%, not 100%.

Hi... I have an issue which no sound for media like YouTube .. I have check all sittings are default, and I have fallow up all topic still no sound question and all sitting are OK!? I can't play any videos with sound !!! need help please...

Hello, so I have been putting my custom links onto the 'top sites' start page in Firefox, by editing the icons and putting the URL, etc. It is a great 'speed dial' type feature I love. One thing has me tearing my hair out after trying all ways to try and fix this to appear to my liking, is the 'custom icon' from the website not showing in the sites I want to 'speed dial' Facebook and YT show up fine, but random sites I want on the page don't do this. I don't care why this is anymore, please don't give lengthily fixes. It's just silly you need a working URL with an icon at the end of it to display this properly. It did make me very mad, can you tell, even madder when I saw it done as it should be in OPERA browser, on their 'top sites', or 'speed dial' customizable home page they have the sensible option there to pick your own icon, you can put in a folder on your desktop if you like, no working URL needed! start a collection of what icons you want to see on your own start page. Can you please implement this 'common sense' modification as soon as possible, it will take only minutes of code writing i'm sure. I do not want to, but I will go to Opera as my main browser for this common sense functionality, good luck and thank you.

My old device has broken and I was wondering if there's any way to transfer the open tabs from it to my new device?

I've signed in to my account already and it ported over my history as well as bookmarks but I don't see a way to port over the open tabs? I'm not sure if they were synced and I can't go back to sync them now as the previous device is broken

When I'm viewing a PDF from within Firefox and try to print the page, it shows a smaller version between 1/2-3/4 of the size of the paper. I have "fit to page selected" and this doesn't change it. I try a larger than 100% scale and this doesn't change it either.

However when I download the pdf and pull it up using Acrobat it allows me to print full page, fit to page, scale, etc no problem.

Initially I thought it was my printer, but I removed and reinstalled the drivers for the printer and I don't have this issue with any other program except for printing from Firefox. It's almost like the Firefox browser has too small of a page default set so that it's fitting to a page, but the page is smaller than 8.5x11 printer paper.

How do I fix this?

The last few days I have been unable to connect to Microcenter (www.microcenter.com) when using FireFox. Get an error Forbidden - ID: db4a0787baff80adb2df6dd9d9881a53, the # changes everytime you try. But the website works fine when I use google chrome and microsoft edge.
