When I pause a video (any site) and go to another tab / stay on the site, after a seemingly random amount of time the video starts playing again.

I'm using latest Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04 (snap).

I've tried (didn't work):

• Disabling media hardware controls through about:config
• Disabling autoplay through about:config

Yesterday I was unable to sign into The Guardian website (https://profile.theguardian.com/signin?INTCMP=DOTCOM_NEWHEADER_SIGNIN&ABCMP=ab-sign-in&componentEventParams=componentType%3Didentityauthentication%26componentId%3Dguardian_signin_header and https://profile.theguardian.com/signin? )

The problem is that after I click "Sign In", that little circling line becomes the Energizer Bunny, circling away and circling away, but not logging me in.

I have no problem logging in using those login pages on Edge, so confident of username/password combo

I have (repeatedly) turned off tracking protection, Adblock Plus & Privacy Badger for the site, cleared history (cookies and cache, as well as all), followed the complete set of instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords, and refreshed Firefox. Still the same problem.

HELP - I don't want to be forced to use Edge :)

When I try to use needed tools on websites, Mozilla is blocking the page from opening. USPS will not allow me to track a package. When I enter the tracking number, the page just sits on white and the search just spins

Firefox goes to eBay Portugal instead of eBay USA. In order to complete a specific task, I had to use Edge browser to get there. Why does it do that? How do I fix it?

How do I get Firefox browser to stop from loading automatically upon booting up or restarting?? This has been happening since the last browser update. I checked the Firefox controls but could not find a button to toggle this off. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi, I have been using firefox for many years and never showed me an UAC popup requiring permissions to update firefox as soon as i clicked the firefox icon in the taskbar. Today suddenly required it. I am administrator in windows 10, and have automatic updates enabled as always. I am using 125.0.3 (64-bit) version. This could be a bug or a virus? i am worried that could have given permission to a virus to install something else when i pressed the firefox icon.

I get the message: Gmail may not work well with this browser version. Please upgrade to a supported browser. Just got it today. FireFox is version 125.0.3 for Windows 11. On gmail help, it said to disable extensions and add-ons. I did this, restarted Firefox and get the same message.

I just started using my new MacBook Air, and when I try to use the trackpad to open read Gmail or click the calendar icon on Firefox, it doesn't respond. It works on Safari.

As per the photo, I try to click the calendar icon to open up my calendar and nothing happened.

My Firefox Browser was just upgraded. It seems address bar searches all go through Yahoo.com. Is this by design? Not sure I like the search results...

In the last couple of days I've been unable to login to my virginmedia accounts using firefox, all other browers work fine, I can enter details no trouble but as soon as I press the blue button on their page nothing happens, cleared cookies and data for virgin but didnt help.
