Dragging web page elements causes them to increase in size

I often drag elements on trello.com. Whenever I drag an element, that element seems to double in size, making it hard to see what is underneath. Attached is an example.

I believe this is related to the fact that I am running Linux/X11 and my DPR is 2. From about:support:

  • Window Device Pixel Ratios 2,2,2,2
  • Window Protocol x11
  • OS Linux 6.1.0-13-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.55-1 (2023-09-29)

Is there an about:config setting or anything that will prevent scaling dragged elements?

I've just now noticed the Threading automatic default grouping/marking of messages, and it is appalling. Thunderbird/Mozilla either needs to eliminate this (with appropriate warning notices, perhaps) or at least give us the ability to NOT link various messages. It's not only vastly annoying, it can cause severe real-world problems if anyone not in the CC or BCC fields is receiving these messages that were not intended for them.

I suppose for now, the only way to NOT link things that were never meant to be would be to change the Subject when discussing important topics.

Either that, or get a whole new mail service, which I'd prefer not to have to do.

Ok well i went to about config and tired off all the accessibility about the quick help bar and now my question is every time i try to go to google search and click on shopping no matter what item i am searching for I get a pop up at the the bottom i of the page every time i hit on shopping that say error update can not be added to this list or some thing like that. it was ok until the last update o of firefox and since i did that but am not sure why. doe not do it in Chrome just frefox. firefox is getting to the point b where i an thing king of leaving it. I use a MacBook Pro. I recently created a new profile for Firefox (for work purposes) and set it as the default profile, because I'm trying to get off Chrome entirely. The preexisting no-longer-default profile contained all my "personal" data - bookmarks, extensions, etc. Continued using both profiles for about a week with no issues. Last night my MacBook updated and when I reopened Firefox, the new default profile was fine, but when I went into about:profiles and launched the secondary profile in a new browser, it was completely empty - no history, no bookmarks, no extensions, nothing. That's at least a year's worth of data completely gone. I've looked through support articles and past folks' questions and am just completely lost as to how to restore it or what went wrong. If it's not possible to restore that data, how can I at least prevent this from happening again? I've very much lost trust in Firefox profiles because of this. Help please?

Later version refuses to connect to my modem, and goes into security web mode. This modem uses HTTP/HTTPS for access, i.e., connects directly it's IP address, then the user enters a username and password. At that point, the the modem switches to HTTPS for control.

With this recent update, there is NO WAY to access the modem for any work, or upgrade the HTTPS certificate on the modem. This is a BUG.

What should happen is that if the web site will accept a HTTP connection, Firefox should NOT refuse connection or test for security issues UNTIL the user or the device switches to HTTPS.

As an aside, I've used Firefox on this Zywall modem for years until recently.

I can't download anything anymore. I get the "failed" message. I see in support questons that this has been going on for a long time even though there have been repeated "fixes" reported. I've used Firefox for a long time and really prefer it, but I'm having to change to Chrome to be able to complete my work.

Greetings, I am a 77 year old geezer and I have been using Firefox for probably 25 or 30 years. PROBLEMS: 1) bulk emails sent to my customers are rejected by mostly gmail accounts. 2) Emails sent to me of airline group bookings arrive as pages of code that I cannot read. THESE TWO ISSUES ARE NEW PROBLEMS I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE -- STARTED ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO 3) How do I move/transfer all of my address books/database to a gmail account?
