I changed the header/footer in about:config, but the changes will not save. Every time I change them, they revert to something else. I need &T for headerleft, &PT for headerright, &U for footerleft and &D for footerright. Invariably it changes all the headers to &U, footerleft to &P, and footerright to &D. My only thought is that I haven't saved the updates properly. Please help! ~AM

but I have a windows 10 and the solution does not show up in the Taskbar settings. Is there an updated version for this? Here is the OPs original question.

"When I open a new Firefox window, it stacks it on top of all the others in the task bar at the bottom. I would like them to be BESIDE each other. It used to do that. Now I have to hover over the ONLY Firefox item on the bottom task bar and read the list to find the one I want to go to. This is a waste of time and tedious.

My website main image has displayed via Firefox browsers seamlessly for years. However, recently when visiting my website via Firefox browsers the main image no longer displays.

I have cleared cache, and followed all direction provided on the mozilla support site and the image does not display. It displays via other browsers and also on tablets and mobile but again not Firefox any longer.

When I try to open a link from an external software, in my case mostly discord, that which I click on, I get the profile manager opened, ask for which profile I should open from. If I already have the Firefox window for that profile open, I have to close the whole window and then it opens with all the tabs with a tab for the link I clicked on.

I would like to open tabs like how Chrome does, not asking for profile (yes, I know, I can just make things open on only one profile but I want to choose which one I want it to every single time without manager) and instead opens up from the profile window that I just had on.

I would like to open external links on an existing window and not close to open it.

So, ultimately, make my Firefox open link from the latest profile window I was on, and it does not require to close an existing window to open the link.

Hello, sir my blog is new update. i use google chrome speed is normal opening blog. i try some firefox open my blog some speed down in opening.

I use Quickbooks. I've been frustrated on mozilla with the last two characters being cut off. I can change the zoom, but that doesn't help. It didn't used to happen, but I don't know which version this started with. When I use the same product under Chrome, it doesn't happen, so it's not the product. Any way you can help me?

I have contacted the company and they keep telling me it's my connection or browser and they can't help me. I know there is probably one setting that somehow is wrong but I can't get anyone to figure it out for me. I have tried everything possible. Can this be a browser setting that will not let me edit anything on this webpage? I can edit on other pages that are basically the same type of program ( reunions for schools) PLEASE HELP. YES, MY SECURITY CERTIFICATE IS PAID UP AND ACTIVE.

I have 2 yahoo email accounts. 1 on Chrome & "block Spam" works but on FF it does not. The same fake emails keep coming back and I can't add a screenshot to this.

Hey there, I was using one of my macs today and it suddenly started updating. It was taking ages and seemingly stalled, so I closed the app.

Now, all our bookmarks and history is gone. Also, the now updated version is not showing my new history etc.

Is there any way to retrieve our original bookmarks, history and passwords?

I have tried to dump the preferences, clear cache, restart, clear history.

Hi,

When I try to access the website www.delhaize.be with both firefox for Win10 and for Li nux I get a different result. In both cases I tried in SafeMode all Extension off

With Win10 I am able to click on the language selection (French) and go on dealing with the cookies choice and continue shopping. With FF for Linux, although I click on the language button it sticks there and it is not possible to go on.

Any idea on how to troubleshoot ?

Hello, I'm teaching German as a foreign language - both f2f and online via Zoom. Up until recently I could call up the websites I would need for the online training, turn off the computer to save power and when I started it again the next day, all the tabs from the previous session would automatically reappear when I started Firefox. But now I cannot click the option "Open previous windows and tabs". I really don't want to completely delete this program and start from scrap because I'm scared I might lose all the bookmarks I collected for my job over the years. What's the best easiest way to translate my website https://invivobio.net/ in different language. We have different countries visitors so I want to check/translate my English content in different languages after publishing them, so it will be understandable for me and visitors to check the language, is that correct?

Can anyone suggest me Mozilla Firefox Extension which translate perfect because I leave Google Chrome due to slow browsing. I am enjoying Mozilla for the long time, so I don't want to move back to Chrome.

Every time I open a video on a website and try and enter fullscreen mode, it never lets me exit fullscreen mode. Then I have to close the entire window. Also, sometimes I have to refresh the page once or twice to even get in to fullscreen mode. Google is only showing me stuff about Firefox fullscreen mode, NOT fullscreen mode for videos, which is the actual problem.

In the past when I saw an article that I wanted to email to myself, I would click on the envelop icon and it would go to “choose and application to open the mail to link” I would choose if I remember correctly Yahoo and it would open up.

Now the only choice I have if Firefox, and when I click on it nothing happens. What is the problem?

Under”Choose other Applications”, there is nothing to forward that article to me.
