I do not wish any of my passwords to be stored anywhere it isn't absolutely necessary. My own highly secure method I've been using for many years is listing them all on a removable drive that is encrypted and only in my PC's when necessary. Therefore, I wish to disable any and all PW Managers in the software I use. Please instruct me how to permanently disable the PW Manager in all Mozilla software.
Everything is stated above with an explanation of the reason.
Thanks for your help. TJS

How to recreate issue: 1. Copy password from an entry on about:logins on Firefox desktop app (Windows 11) 2. Open Windows 11 clipboard history (Win. Key + V) 3. Password is not listed in clipboard history 4. Password CAN be pasted within Firefox browser (including separate window) and separate applications 5. Copying another piece of information overwrites the item like normal a typical clipboard tool is supposed to work; you just have to copy it again if you need it again instead of opening Clipboard History.
What it affects: - Copying and pasting multiple passwords to a document, other password manager, or etc. is simply more cumbersome. - When managing multiple logins for the moment, it's easy to get confused (Is the password I just pasted for this login, or the last one?)
Obviously this isn't a big deal, and I am more so wondering if it's a bug or if it's meant to be restricted in such a way to increase security or something.

I am only a home PC customer and have Windows OEM vendor's support only. It supports operation mises about Windows OS and preinstalled applications, but doesn't support Windows's bug trouble shootings. I was denied supporting from FUJITSU CLIENT COMPUTING LIMITED (known as a Japanese company, but a subsidiary of Lenovo now). I copied the raw Japanese text to avoid my failure of translating.

By the answer, I lost any support about trouble shooting.
I ask questions. Have Firefox development team previously confirmed that it works? Does you have Bugzilla ID about functionality check with passkeys in Microsoft password manager or something like it?

I use firefox password manager and have for years. I did not change my password in password manager but I can no longer edit or view my saved passwords. A box comes up asking me for my password but it keeps saying it is trying to allow me in to view my saved password but nothing happens. However, firefox still uses the saved passwords for all 37 of my saved sites and works to allow me to log into saved sites without hesitation. I tried changing my password to password manager and it tells me it changed the password but it will still not allow me to edit. When I click the edit button nothing happens. I have tried over and over and over. I often used my firefox password manager to go in and look up passwords to use on my ipad. I hope you can help. Thank you

I generally get Firefox to save all my logins and passwords. However, I have several websites excepted. Recently, I tried to enter another 'exception' but Firefox isn't registering it i.e. it opens that logon page with all the details, including password, already entered, despite multiple attempts to have it saved as an exception.

I have a small usability suggestion regarding browser password managers.
When a website changes its domain (for example, from example-old.com to example-new.com), existing saved login entries keep the old domain. In many browsers, users cannot edit the domain field of the saved login.
As a result, users must delete the existing password and create a new one, which is inconvenient when managing many accounts.
A simple improvement would be to allow editing the domain/URL field of an existing saved login entry.
Example: example-old.com → example-new.com
Instead of deleting the login, users could just update the domain.
It’s a small feature, but it would significantly improve password management usability.
Thanks for your work on building great products.
