When following a link from a news website I keep getting this message - Secure Connection Failed - The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. It loads on my iPhone and other browsers using the same link. What setting do I need to address to get this to stop?

Since the Firefox Developer Edition update 152.0beta, saving as a PDF via the print menu no longer works. Although the “Save as PDF” option is available and selected by me, the job is always sent to the laser printer (which is not supposed to print it, of course). This happens on every conceivable website, so the website itself is not the cause. (Platform: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1)

For years, I’ve been able to generate PDFs via the print menu in FF without any issues—now I’m forced to take a detour via Safari, for example (which works correctly every time). So who has recently tinkered with this FF feature?

Since I can’t find the relevant setting in the FF preferences—and a “search” on this topic has been unsuccessful—I’d like to know if there’s a solution?

Being a weird person, I always saved my sites on my firefox browser and for my own reasons, hadn't bookmarked them and always kept them open on tabs to pick up and read at a later date, and as a result, racked up a lot of different tabs that were all very dear to me. However due to a catastrophic hardware failure a few hours ago I lost everything on my local files, including my backups of all the firefox tabs. I was hoping that if there was a remote possiblility that if the sync was able to record tabs, that it would also save all tab information from previous browser sessions.

When I try to setup my home page to be something other than the Firefox default the page never loads. Also, if I try to go to the page without it being my home page, it never loads. I can open that website on other bowers, also other websites seem to load in Firefox, but slowly. The webpage I want to use is www.aldaily.com.

I have searched on-line and performed the actions that are suggested - i.e. clearing cache, cookies, restarting the computer, restarting my router. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox, nothing seems to work.

I would like to get some suggestions from you as to what I should try.

I fear I must reset or reinstall Firefox. Before I do that, I want to save the URLs of the open windows. Or save a larger set of URLs, such as shown in the Library window at History>Last 7 Days.

How can I save this data?

I have selected the 4 rows for shortcuts on my tab and have installed all but the last 3 spaces in the end of the 4th row. There's no option whatsoever to continue to add those remaining 3 spaces. Any suggestions?

Windows club downloads to speed up firefox browser: Firemin, Firefox Booster,Speedyfox and Firefox Preloader. Are these offered through firefox settings? Are they safe to use with my Firefox browser?

How can I log in to my firefox account to sync on my new PC if I can't verify the email address associated with my account? I no longer have access to that email because my employer phased it out.

I tend to have a lot of tabs open at a time and even with the Customize Sidebar > Hide tabs and sidebar checkbox ticked, it is still distracting at times. Could you please help me find a setting/way so that I can hide it and make it re-appear when I hover on it only. Kinda like how we have on windows taskbar? Much appreciated.

 Firstly I have been using Firefox for about 2 decades and it has always worked perfectly - you can take a bow.
Now for my problem
I have been using Firefox for internet banking for many years without any problems - the usual login, password ans secret questions. Just after Xmas my bank updated it's website and suddenly nothing works. I was told that it now only works on Chrome and NOTHING else - not Firefox, Edge or anything else. I am able to log-in but can't see my account balances or perform any other functions - it just jams up to the point that I even have trouble closing Firefox.
I use Firefox exclusively because I don't trust Chrome or Google - they are just a massive data collection/sharing operation. I have Chrome Mask installed but it just doesn't make any difference.

 Is there anything that I can do or add-on to over-ride this problem?

I am running Mint Linux 22.2 with Firefox 151.0.1

The plugging is NOT updating and it's blocking me from watching anything on streaming. I've tried triggering the update by turning it on and off, by tugging on and off the "DRM" option in settings, by turning off the updates and then looking for updates... I went to about:config and made sure that all options were "true". What I get is an "error in downloading the update" that I can't fix.

Can someone help?
