I receive e-mail from websites where I subscribe. Many times, the message from the sites (kelbyone.com, to name one) contain a graphic (jpg) that does not display in Outlook.com. Microsoft is unresponsive. The sending websites refuse to help.

If I paste the hyperlink into the search window, the page will load. When I forward the e-mail from Outlook to yahoo mail. the image displays.

I am running plugins Adblocker Ultimate and DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials. Disabling these plugins does not help.

I would like help with this, at least, to identify where the problem is.

For a while now, I've been having recurring issues with Firefox desktop freezing and becoming totally unresponsive. If there's any pattern to what causes it, I haven't been able to notice it; sometimes it happens as soon as I open the browser, sometimes it happens after several hours, sometimes it happens twice in ten minutes, sometimes it happens twice in a few hours (however, I can count the number of days it's happened less than twice in one day in the past few weeks on the fingers of one hand). When the browser freezes, it becomes totally unresponsive - it doesn't fade or display "Not Responding", and Task Manager shows nothing abnormal, but it doesn't accept any input at all, any video or other animated material that may have been displaying freezes, and it can only be "fixed" by force quitting from the task manager and reopening. This is exclusively a firefox issue; other programs open at the same time as the browser freezes are not affected.

The only real lead I have as to what could be going on is that sometimes, things don't freeze all at once, but in a cascading effect. For example, tabs, bookmarks, etc. might not highlight when moused over, but still accept the clicks, or selecting another tab might causes the address bar to display the URL of the selected tab, but the screen displayed in the window will not change. Once these cascading changes start, they generally progress to total freeze before I have a chance to do much with that information (only a few seconds), but it's unusual enough behavior to be worth noticing.

Things I've already tried that haven't fixed the issue:

• Reducing the number of tabs used and otherwise reducing Firefox's system resource usage has not impacted the problem in any way.
• Running in Troubleshoot Mode has not had a consistent effect on the problem (the most recent time I did, the browser ran stably for longer than I could stand to use the internet without my ad blocker, but this is only one data point in an already inconsistent spread; prior instances of the problem have occurred in Troubleshoot Mode)
• Disabling hardware acceleration has not fixed the issue.
• The issue has persisted through multiple refreshes and at least one full uninstall and clean reinstall.
• The issue persisted after creating and switching to a new profile multiple times.
• The issue persisted after renaming places.sqlite
• The issue persisted after clearing cache and cookies multiple times.
• The issue persisted after clearing downloads and history.
• And very likely some other stuff that I'm forgetting, I've been trying to fix this on my own for a while now.

Bought a new computer. All my toolbar bookmarks migrated across successfully. Sidebar symbol missing from the menu bar and I couldn't find where these Book Marks were at first. But then I right clicked on the menu bar, clicked on Manage Book Marks which opened a Library box and there they were. Does anyone know an easier way to access them please? as you can see in the screenshot it says the mic is only"allowed temporarily" and when i go to permissions it doesn't let me add a site to grant perms i can just search for sites and thats it. its annoying cuz on textnow i have to keep granting perms

I'd like to obtain some clarity on provenance aspects of Firefox released as a Flatpak.

I see in this article that one of the options is to use flatpak package: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux

Is this article produced / reviewed by mozilla? Is flatpak an officially trusted, backed by mozilla, means of installing firefox on a system?

On flathub one can observe the "Verified" seal which indicates that such package is developed and maintained by original package developers (in case Mozilla). One can also observe in multiple forums here and there that mozilla is the one that builds and maintain this package.

Though a seal is nice, and users opinions are ok, it would be good to have artifacts that would evidence better this relationship. Also, would be good to have this officially stated in mozilla's website, under "Download options and other languages" section, something like "you can also safely install firefox through the flatpak package available on flathub which is developed / maintained / signed by mozilla itself".

Or maybe all of this information is around and i am just not able to link it together.

I cannot get the print button to work in my emails. I used to be able to close Firefox and re-open and then it would work, but today that did not work. I shut down my computer completely and still it does not work. I am attaching a snip of the screen showing the print button.

For some reason I notice that some of our image files, viewed after opening an online pdf document with images within, shows random white horizontal lines. This is not shown using edge or chrome. you can go here to view https://mcclone.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Connects-Issue-12.pdf.

Hello, it seems that cycling through tabs in most recently used order is not working for me. I am running version 126.0.1 on Windows and I have the "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" option enabled on my settings page. I have only noticed this issue in the past week or so, and so I am wondering if this feature is broken in the most recent release and if there is anything I can do to get the feature to work again until the bug is fixed in a future version.

I have no idea how to fix a problem that just emerged in the last hour.

I can't download file attachments sent by email. Yesterday I could. I have been using Mozilla Firefox as my browser for more than 10 years. I tried restarting my computer that didn't help.

All of a sudden, I can't download any attachments, no matter what file type it is. I've reset Firefox to it's default, restarted, everything suggested. I don't have the first clue as to what this is.

Every time I sign into something using Firefox the recaptcha does not allow me to continue. If I switch to Google Chrome it works. Please help me to be able to use Firefox.

On my Macbook (macOS Sonoma 14.5), Firefox blocks populating parts of some websites whereas other browsers don't. For example, on my J. Crew Factory website account, when I click on "Order History," I get a blank page. Other browsers (Safari, Brave) correctly populate the info on my Order History. Why does Firefox block it?

When downloading a file in Facebook Messenger, Firefox changes file extension to .pdf. My case was .docx file but looking for help found people have problem with other formats, even non document saving as .pdf.

When I'm browsing, especially when shopping, say, Amazon, eBay, or Swanson Vitamins or wherever, FF opens a new tab which remains open to the right of the left-most original tab. Of course, when I + a new tab which I want it to stay open, it opens and, again, by itself, FF closes the first tab and the latter takes over the left-most spot. And, in case of eBay, when I click on an item I want to check, it keeps on opening a new tab on the original tab. Placing the cursor on FF icon on task bar displays all the tabs. I never had things like above happen with previous issue FF. Of, course, I don't know since which FF version was stable in the way I wanted. Does anyone know how to set FF to stop taking all these unwanted actions?

There is a hacker who accessed my Google account via Firefox about 10 hours ago, with the result my language setting has been switched to Korean. I live in Hong Kong and have never been to Korea, and I do understand Korean at all. Can you help pls? Thx.

I was able to use it normally before, but when I downloaded a file, the browser froze, so I used Task Manager to terminate Firefox and reopened it, and then I encountered this situation.

When I open the "Downloads" in Firefox, the browser hangs and prompts unresponsive. I have tried the troubleshooting mode, but it did not work, the problem still exists. I also tried to "Refresh Firefox", but this did not solve the problem either. I also tried to delete places.sqlite, but it was also ineffective. Then I created a new user profile, but the same situation occurred. I also tried to uninstall Firefox, delete AppData/Local/Mozilla and AppData/Roaming/Mozilla, and then reinstall it, but it also couldn't solve this problem. I've had this problem on both 126 and 125.

Looking for help to try and work out what is happening. Over the last few days, after powering up and browsing the internet everything works fine for a while. Main websites are Facebook, YouTube and continually clicking on bookmarked items. Normally only a few tabs are open at any one time. Then after some time, I open a new tab and get the

Gah. Your Tab Just Crashed message appear on the new tab and can not access any websites after this. The Close Tab, Restore Tab, Restore All Tabs do nothing.

I have to reboot the PC and start again.

I'm using the latest version 126.0.1 (64-bit).

• Tried running in Safe Mode, uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it, reverted back to 126.0 (64-bit) and same issue.

• I've cleared the cache and history

• Had Add Blockers, FB Purity and New Tab Override Extensions. Disabled these and still no success.

• I have AVG driver update installed and its telling me all the drivers are up to date.

• The problem seemed to start happening after an AVG update, so I have removed AVG Antivirus

The computer is an ASUS Vivobook Laptop, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz with 8GB ram.
