I would like to know if the preferences (found in about:config or prefs.js) are explained in detail somewhere For example, what is browser.safebrowsing.provider.google.advisoryURL? What values can it have? Why can't preference entries be deleted (not just given a value of "") by the user? Thank you.

This evening I had to close Firefox and when I went to open it again it updated but then I noticed everything was now in dark mode i.e new tab page and my bookmark side bar.

How do I get it back to light mode?

I'm on a Windows 10 Pro PC. Actually, Firefox was working fine until today. My Firefox is up to date as of right now. I have an account with AtesMedia. I used to log in and I'd access a menu with the current time and content available "EN DIRECTO" live.

Today, when I entered, the time showing on the menu in the Firefox browser did not correspond to my Windows time setting. I tried the same access from Chrome and it has the right time setting. I can therefore easily access whatever content I select and click on.

In Firefox the time is way off by six hours (the time difference between Spain where the service content originates and my time in the U.S.). Again, the computer time is correct in the Windows settings, as I can confirm by simply flipping over to Chrome and not getting this problem.

Doing some searching, I found suggestions to go to about:config, finding the privacy.resistFingerprinting setting and make sure it is set to false. I did that, closed Firefox, restarted it, checked to see that my change persisted (it did). I then re-started a new session of the AtresPlayer, where I had to log in again to my Premium account. But, the problem was not fixed.

I still get the wrong time in Firefox. If I manually advance on the timeline by six hours, of course there are different program contents available. I can then select one and request either to continue live or begin the program from its initial start time. Either way, it works, but it is an enormous pain to go through that I didn't have to do before in Firefox.

Something has gone awry and I don't know what it is or how to fix it. Can anyone please help? Please don't tell me to set privacy.resistFingerprinting = false -- I have already done that and it doesn't work. I even removed it completely and did it again from scratch. I have shut down Firefox. As I mentioned, I restarted it to make sure that my setting went into effect and wasn't cancelled on shutting down and restarting again.

I am trying to click on a product to order on a website. Nothing happens when I click on the item. I tried the same thing on Microsoft Edge and it worked. Can you tell me what setting to change to make this work? I prefer Firefox. I am using Windows 11. Thank you!

Can't load a game. Royal Story only loads to 50% then stops and that's it. I really need some help with this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version but it still doesn't work. Would really appreciate some help with this problem. Thank you

Recently after firefox browser crash all my Saved logins keep asking to either input password or login while I access that website and this is annoying. Previously it was not the case and i would like to change it to the old way how it was.

Some time ago, my colour scheme in Firefox changed. I spent hours getting it back to what I wanted. Recently, following a PC restart it happened again, now I can't recover my original Theme. Worse, 2 website's, ASDA & Tesco have changed colour to purple making it very difficult for my wife to read. It makes no difference to these websites whichever theme I set. When I open the same websites on Google Chrome, they appear normally. I have used Firefox for many years but now it gets ever more complicated making it more difficult to use. Often, if I need to update anything financial with suppliers, it fails to do so, then I have to switch to Google Chrome which works without any problems.

PS I tried to add images both by word doc. & PDF but clicking the 'Browse' button below could not find them in my explorer, they are there.

When my Google calendar loads in Firefox the reminder entries don't display by default. All other calendar entries such as appointments, birthdays, etc. display just fine. To make the reminders display, I have to click on the calendar main menu (the three lines) and check the box next to reminders. Then the reminders display fine. However, the next time I start Firefox the reminders once again don't display. Once I have the reminders set I save the settings, but that doesn't help. I don't have this issue with Edge or Chrome. Has anyone else run into this, and if so, have they been able to fix it? Richard

I have noticed that some business websites do not work correctly with Firefox. Here are a few ; Lowes Home Improvement, NJ Covid vaccine, Labcorp, Picattiny Federal Credit Union, Clover Health, Walmart.

Could this be due the fact the fact that according java FF does not support the technology behind java?

In the case of Walmart, I was having a problem placing an order and asked for help, the email response did not mention FF.

I just allowed an update to my computer from Mozilla called software updater and now I can't use duckduckgo to search the web. I had to use google to get to this page for help. Let me know right away how to remove the mozilla updater from my computer and get back to the firefox browser that works. This is interfering with my web searches and banking. This is extremely urgent.

So, I've come to realize that, over a recent PC upgrade, the red, squiggly underline on misspelled words disappears when the Backspace key is hit. I'm glad that Pocket has reappeared on my home page, since I spent hours trying to find it a couple of years ago, unsuccessfully, after it disappeared, but now this spell check issue is a bit disconcerting. But now it appears that it only happens within Facebook ...there's a surprise. Nope, it's Messenger/Firefox only. Messenger/Edge works as it should (red squigglies remain, despite depressing Backspace), and the squigglies also remain within this text field. So it seems specific to Messenger/Firefox. Long time user of Firefox, and installed latest update and there is something wrong with it. Perhaps someone wrote a bad line of code? After installing the update there are at least 2 problems. One, Safesearch can no longer be turned off. Two, suggestions as you type cannot be turned off, this is extremely annoying as I do not like or use this feature. I cannot use Firefox in this crippled condition and will use another browser for my web searches which are frequent for my research and other project. This is sad as Firefox has been my primary browser almost since it's inception. I have tried to fix this on my own and have only been frustrated and wasted a good bit of time.
