Hi,

On your DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) FAQs page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/dns-over-https-doh-faqs#w_how-did-mo..., under the question "How did Mozilla choose Cloudflare as a trusted resolver?", the link to Cloudflare's privacy notice resolves in a 404. Can you please update it to point to Cloudflare's privacy notice with respect to 1.1.1.1 and Firefox?

Thanks, James

Opening links from external applications (i.e.: Outlook, Word, a PDF, etc.) begins to open a new tab in Firefox, sometimes it'll open a "full" tab-width before hanging, more often than not, I'll see a sliver of the new tab while Firefox sorts itself out.

Typically when this happens, I'll see upwards of 50% CPU usage from Firefox itself. Memory seems sane.

Hardware acceleration, whether it's on or off, makes no difference. Issue persists in safe-mode, and safe-mode with add-ons disabled. Issue persists in Firefox and Firefox Developer Edition.

but removing the option to manually add and edit search engines and making them into extensions THAT IS TOO MUCH.

either give me a solution to this or give me a migration tool to move out my data.

I am stuck between two machines and can't stay on beta updates anymore because FF won't let me sync my profiles anymore.

If I can't migrate my beta channel profile to the release channel, how can I quit beta updates until the release channel catches up to me?

FF preference selected is 'download updates but let me install them' but really there is no choice. It installs and next opening of FF it is automatically installed. I already changed about:config preference for update channel to 'release' but FF merrily kept on with beta channel updates.

I need my beta channel profile customizations--varied management of permissions and add-ons and passwords on dozens of sites, customizations to stop the blinking and autoplay and movement and noise.

But: FF won't let me keep them if I go back to release.

So: how can I force FF to stop updating while the release channel catches up?

Mac/Mojave Beta channel 80.something, need to sync with release channel 79

Hello!

So this might be a very simple thing I've clearly skimmed over in the many times I've searched. Or perhaps I didn't enter the magic words into Google just that special way to get the help I desire...

I'm playing with Addon and Extentions weighing the pro's and con's of different Addons serving the same relative purpose. It's pretty irritating the method I am currently using, downloading an Addon and then going in, and then disable the one I downloaded to grab the next to avoid bad results that can arise from overlapping Addons working on the same functional area. I wanted to know if there was a means in which I could disable the automatic enabling of Addons when I add them from the default Firefox site?

Hi.

I'm using Windows 10 Pro 2004 *N Version* x64 and latest Firefox. I understand there's a problem with Windows N versions that can be solved by installing Media Feature pack. The problem is... MFP also installs full Windows Media Player and who knows what more. I won't install the full MFP, but I wouldn't mind to add some DLLs or registry keys to circumvent the problem.

So far I've tested Youtube and some other sites and apparently WebM videos run OK (got no problem with Youtube at all) ... but can't play videos on Twitter. Tests seem to show there's a problem playing MP4 videos. Also, it looks like Widevine isn't working.

So... can Firefox for Windows be configured to use ffmpeg... or some other woraround to stop depending on Windows Media Foundation (I assume that's the root of the problem)? If not... any 'hack-ish' way to add just the bare minimum Windows support infrastructure to allow Firefox to play those videos?

Thanks for any help you can provide!
