When I open a locally downloaded pdf in firefox, the background is displayed as what was previously displayed on that portion of the screen, and scrolling simply overlays moved text over what was previously displayed. Does not appear in screenshots. One of the images shows what the pdf looks like prior to scrolling, and one after.

Firefox is synced on all my computers. Same version. Same extensions. I can't login on my primary desktop as of last night 5/23/24. I can login/watch Prime on my laptop. My desktop gives me the attached error.

Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." WHEN YOU CANNOT TURN OFF THE IDIOTIC popup spam for the updates NOT EVEN GOOGLE CHROME DOES THAT. And ridiculous it has to LOAD THE UPDATE after restarting the browser lag time and IDIOTIC BRIGHT SCREEN FLASHING even if you have darkmode on, JESUS CHRIST this browser seems ridiculous and FAR WORSE THAN THE OTHERS WHEN EVEN CHROME IS BETTER with these settings and not being pointlessly ridiculous rofl. WHAT is going on with that people. AND SETTINGS TO FIX THAT would make this less ridiculous to use obviously, THANK

After update 126 "open previous windows and tabs" no longer works. It is checked but open tabs are not reopened when firefox is restarted. Using macOS Ventura 13.6.7

Hey, i have been in some trouble because the last device i had with my firefox account logged in was my phone, and I recently broke it.

So now Im trying to log in with my google account but when i want to restore my session(take back my data like bookmarks and passwords, all the "sync" thing you know) into my computer he says that I need to enter a "master password" refering to that one password i created randomly in 2021, or else, use a key something that i couldve created(I didnt, cause i didnt know the existence of it) to re-enter my session without erasing all my data, because yes, if i forgot the password it says that if i restore it, the data will be erased And with my only logged in device now broken i cant regain access to my data, i have a lot of my passwords of pretty much all my gaming accounts there(and more), and if u wonder how did i got to enter the account without having the possibility of activating the "sync" thing, i just entered with my google account as I do always, but just because i dont remember my very old now password, i cant get back my passwords.

So thats my problem, i hope that my english was understandable, and if u can respond in spanish it would be even more helpful for me but if not, its fine.

Firefox's DNS over HTTPS is preventing my access to 2 websites I've used for years for booking golf tee times. The 2 sites are www.roosterrun.com and www.windsorgolf.com. I want to remove this feature and return my PC to it's previous settings. Please help. John Blevins bold text

I'm on Win11. The recent releases of FF seem to have disabled my ability (while in FF) to bring my mouse to the lower area of my screen to have the Win11 lower task bar appear. In order to get here, I have to shrink FF via it's upper right hand shrink button, then in the Win11 home screen bring my mouse pointer down to the lower screen area to popup that task bar. Gemini suggests there's a compatibility setting related to issues with high res screens that FF has... but I can't find this switch/setting... maybe Gemini is hallucinating about this. (Curiously, Gemini insists that this is not a FF issue... despite the fact that it's the only app on my PC having this issue).

I have two problems:

1. After importing bookmarks from html file i can not see them under search bar. only i can see them when clicking on Show your bookmarks /Ctrl+Shift+O/. Bookmark toolbar is checked into Always show Where is the problem?

2. Blank shortcuts of some websites, i tried to fix it with all methods but failed like: Deleting the IconCache.db file then restart windows explorer Command prompt sfc /scannow Command prompt dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth Disable tablet mode and Widgets

While following this step in order to reduce CPU and memory consumption of firefox [content-prefs.sqlite file], I accidently deleted the Profile folder itself.

After this firefox wasn't opening and was stuck on not responding in activity monitor.

I reinstalled firefox, multiple times even after a shutdown, removing any old files in the Library folder. Still it's stuck on the same issue, firefox doesn't opens up even once.

Hello, I am using Firefox for my company. We are using Quickbase system to access the data from internal server. Previously, I can allow Firefox to show the image that classified as unsecured context. I could see the setting option to allow unsecured pictures. But now I changed my account on my computer and when I use firefox, I can not see the image file from server and also I can not find how to allow unsecure picture. Is there way to set to allow unsecure stuff from Firefox? Please let me know.

Firefox uses about half a gig on my disk, that's: '~/.mozilla' and '~/.cache/mozilla' can that be reduced? Either some setting that limits disk use or even a manual deletion of ancient stuff?

When I use 'Manage Bookmarks' and the Library to delete bookmarks and bookmark folders in addition to cleaning up duplicate bookmarks, the deleted folders and bookmarks automatically reappear in my Bookmark sidebar 1-2 hours later.

Initially, I had sync on but did not have Bookmarks checked for syncing. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared. Then I turned off sync for this browser / machine. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared.

I tried to see if there was a setting that enabled automatic restores of bookmark backups - but could not find one to turn off. I have tried refreshing the installation and starting again - using a one-time sync from another machine - but continue to be unable to permanently delete old / obsolete / duplicate bookmarks and folders.

I've also tried 2 Bookmark clean-up extensions. While I am able to delete duplicates and empty folders using these tools, 1-2 hours later they are back in the Bookmark sidebar.

Is there anyway to prevent the automatic restoration of the Bookmark Library?

After SUSE-15.6 updated FIREFOX to 115.11.0esr, all sites show choppy videos. I have no idea why or what I can do to resolve the issue. If someone has an idea, it would be greatly appreciated

I wanted to disable the "Moves the URL left or right". It turns out that this functionality won't be useful to me, but this shortcut is the one that I use the most :/
