Just lately after decade plus of using Firefox I am getting computer hung up, nothing running but Firefox with 7 tabs open. That is how I been running FF for years, same 7 tabs open and no problems until a coupler months ago. I am on Windows 10 64 bit current with May updates, 12GB main memory, Intel Core i5 @ 3.20GHz, 500 GB WD HDD. The task manager right now is showing 49 FF processes running. All is well right now, but maybe by end of day or tomorrow it will hang up. Right now Virtual memory is set at 14838. I have it set at automatic manage paging file. My hard drive has 281 GB free space. Below is a warning error I see when FF hangs and sends in a report.

Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: firefox.exe (9264) consumed 41230716928 bytes, firefox.exe (1824) consumed 1195388928 bytes, and vmmem (1768) consumed 515567616 bytes.

BTW I am on FF 126.0

When I try calling some of my Facebook friends from my PC, I get this message "Video calling is not supported on this browser " . But when I try calling other Facebook friends, everything works just well. When I try calling my Facebook friends from my cellphone, no problem.

I've tried downloading 2 different add-ons to replace loaded words in newspaper articles with more accurate ones. However, they are useless unless I can specify which words to replace. There used to be an option to edit settings for a particular add-on in about:addons, but it has vanished. Where can it be found now?

Discovered that until now I had been unable to store passwords on this browser, and discovered I would need to set a Primary Password before being able to set any. I followed the recommended instructions to set one, but no matter what I entered, it would be unable to set. (Password quality meter was not full (75-80%~), if that is significant.)

After this, I would receive continuous pop-up windows asking to set a Primary Password, but all attempts to set such a password would fail (Window named :"Alert", with text stating "Unable to Change Password.") These would persist until I shut down my computer, and I stopped receiving these popup windows, but ultimately, I am still unable to set a primary password., and thus, am unable to save passwords.

(Pop-up Windows were labelled "Change Password", and had text stating "Security Device: Software Security Device", along with having the password change form)

I am trying to go to mylogin.aflac.com which I always went to and was fine and now all the sudden I get that I need a passkey now. see attached for problem and please fix it. thanks

I've had Firefox as my default browser for several years. Recently every time I turn on my computer Firefox shows up but it is immediatly overrun by M Edge and I have to remove it several times before it'll go away. I recently lost my connection to my ptinter and don't know how to get it back. I suspect the Edge did away with it.

Trying to us kp.org and Firefox would not recognize the selections made. At times Firefox would not let me make or retain the selection made. Switched to Chrome and site worked smoothly.

I have two separate client that can not use Firefox to get to SharePoint, they put in their login and then are just looped back or it says they don't have an account. Both can access from Chrome and Edge, I have reinstalled fresh on both clients and the issue still happens in Safe Mode. I have already contacted Microsoft who states because it works in Chrome and Edge the issue is going to be Firefox.

There is problem going on when I turn my laptop in the morning. It has appeared three times now. The message say " Open or Fresh Firefox" The first time I did a Fresh, the second one I clicked "Open". I later get an update and I didn't do the update then the next morning I cannot login into my laptop. I kept getting codes to enter my password. Finally, a security screen appeared and I was able to login. This morning when turning on my laptop I see the same message appear again. I did the refresh Firefox. I had to go back and reset all my personal setting.

Also, I am letting you know that I am being monitor and I am having other problems with my email and iPhone. Question: Who is monitoring the monitor?

My password saved are deleted every time I close FF. It used to be manageable because Google and other sites didn't require me to fill my passwords (cookies did the trick I suppose) but now I also loose access to gmail and Youtube every time I close FF. It's annoying to have to use 2FA every damn time. And keeping the passwords available.

I've tried every answer I found by looking around :

- tried to start in safe mode - disable hardware acceleration - I have no extensions

FF saves the passwords correctly (at least they appear in the saved password tab) but they are erased every time I restart FF. The cookies aren't automatically deleted (FF remembers my browsing history) but I need to relog into Google.

I getting frustrated.

After update, when I click on auto fill option a settings tab opens every single time. I close it and it happens again. I use firefox to fill out some repeated forms (and separate topic would also like to customize these autofils and pre-write some ideally), but this is a new problem that breaks using firefox totally for me, causing lots of scrolling clicks and time wastage. What changed that can be fixed in recent updates on this? Thanks.

i cant get firefox to open main page no matter what i try. Ive download it a few times and then it ask me to no let it fix it i did and then it still wont open.use firefox more than any site. ty if you can help.

I've been using a Rewards site regularly (3/4 times per month) for several years without problem. This weekend the attached pop-up appeared. It makes no difference whether I select Resend or Cancel, the program just re-displays the pop-up trapping me in an endless loop. The only exit is to close the window and abort the process. I was able to complete the task without any problem using Edge instead so it appears to be a Firefox specific issue. I haven't consciously changed anything since last using the site successfully on 24 May. Any help/suggestions appreciated.
