Suddenly after 20 years of collecting invaluable basic reference works in one of the 20 bookmarks on my Bookmarks Toolbar called REF on my Firefox browser, today I find it simply marked "Empty". No idea why. No other tabs have been altered as far as I can tell. 28 MAY 2024

I use version 115.11.0esr (32-bit). I need help with the color of open tabs. How do open tabs can be all in one color and that is black or dark gray? I don't want all open tabs to be bright because it stitches me in the eye. Active tab can be any color but for all other open tabs I want them to be in the same dark color - black or dark gray. Is this possible and how can this be achieved? Thanks very much.

Hi there, Can anyone help me please. Ive been using Firefox forever and yesterday I signed into a Gmail account to send an email to someone, I typed in who it was to, then subject and then when I went to type into the body of text, the keyboard wont work.

I thought there was an issue with the keyboard but I then I tried to type in issues on firfox and loads of text is missing, I basically cant use firefox at the moment as Im only viewing half the info.

Ive been sent a credit not from someone and this is what its viewing like.

I didnt change anything that Im aware of

On firefox 126.0 (64-bit) the option for spelling check is enabled, but will not appear on the context menu box when right clicked. This happens for the desktop sites of Facebook and Instagram.

I am performing a use case in my organization. I need the hash (sha1) of all Mozilla Firefox releases published till the latest one.

I need for all 3 OS- Win, Linux and Mac.

Can anyone help me how/where can I find this?

I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

It renders correctly in Chromium.

Firefox 126.0 using the recommended performance settings on Mint 21.3, nvidia quadro p620 using the official nvidia drivers v535.171.04-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

So I have an issue where I am unable to reorder or detach tabs after having detached one tab. When I start Firefox I am able to reorder my tabs as much as I want, but once I detach one tab both functionalities do not work anymore.

- Firefox version 126.0 on Kubuntu 24.04 - After restarting Firefox I am able to do it again once - After rebooting I am also able to do it again once - The same issue in private window - I have refreshed Firefox through Help -> More troubleshooting information - Disabled all my add-ons

I cannot seem to find a real answer online. Does somebody here have a solution for me :-)?

Whenever I try to log into my online banking all I get is a white screen, nothing whatsoever.

I can log in just fine using the dreaded Microsoft Edge or Chrome but firefox will not work.

Now, I do know that I have actually logged in with firefox because if I come back to the page 10 minute later I get a banking message saying that as I haven't done anything for 10 minutes it has now logged me out!

I have cleared cache & cookies, I've started in safe mode and looked at the threads in the forum but nothing helps.

This is happening on all instances of firefox that I have, work, home, laptop.

I am migrating to a new laptop. The new laptop keeps asking me for a primary password. I have never set one up. This issue doesn't happen on the old machine, only the new one. It also won't let me disable the pop-up that asks for the primary password. Please advise.

Directions are sync & save data. This is wrong. There is NO "sync and save data" in the iOS FF menu. See attached. Therefore cannot scan QR code. Email does not work because FF does not recognize my password which is written down and I am signed on to Mozilla. in iPhone settings FF allows camera. FF is set up to permit sync. The open tabs on PC do not sync to FF on phone. All directions do not work or are totally unclear. Nothing seems to agree with anything. Cannot sync. Cannot scan QR code. Cannot verify password.

Sometimes drag functionality stops working. I can't grab a tab to move it to another position or to a new window. (Holding left click on the tab and moving the cursor does nothing). Also, re-merging the tab with another firefox window stops working. (Dragging a tab to a firefox window from another firefox window doesn't merge them. It does nothing) I can right click on the tab and select Move to move it to a new window but dragging stops working. I have to close Firefox and start it again (sometimes twice), then dragging starts working again. This happens multiple times a day. I am on Linux Mint and the version is 126.0 (64-bit). This problematic behavior has only recently began.

I've been using custom icons for all of my 36 shotcuts on Firefox start page. Today I opened Firefox and my icons are gone, Firefox slowy created its own ones and now I can't refresh them to bring back my own, despite there are my links pasted into entry. It's really time consuming to bring back old icons one by one, I have to upload each of them again to get new links, because somehow Firefox sees old links being in use and there's no way to refresh preview of them. Please give me faster method to bring back my old setting, I really hate changes so much!

The Dismissed Suggestions > the "Restore" button (circled on the attachment) is not working (grayed out). It behaves the same in normal and private browsing. What could be the problem? Thank you

I was in the middle of asking this question when I fixed (worked around) the problem so I'm posting more as a informative post as there is a lot of old misdirection out there now.

I am(was) unable to drag any URLs from the URI drop down field in the main interface to my bookmarks toolbar. Nor was any drag and drop functionality working in the "Customise Firefox" screen (right click space on url bar -> Customise Toolbar).

I have now found that resetting my zoom setting in preferences to 100% restores this functionality. The problem arose when I was using 120% zoom, NOT text only.
