Retrieving cleared cache
I have inadvertently cleared my cache in Firefox (ver. 101.6). Is there a way to get that cache back? Does firefox delete a file that is the cache?

Win 7 Home Premium Firefox Version 101.0.1
'Privacy & Security'->'Cookies and Site Data', 'Clear Data.'
When 'Clear Now,' Cached Web Content; is clicked, it does not zero out. (It used to clear completely).
The browser webpage has been refreshed, the browser closed and reopened, and the computer restarted but the cache does not reset.
This issue started on the morning (Pacific time) of June 26-Is this a known glitch or am I missing a detail?

How do I exclude a single site from the history deletion process to prevent the settings/cookies of that given site from being deleted ?

Hello,
I am the developer of the "FlagCookies" - add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/flag-cookies/
I would like to make a request to include "window id" and "tab id" in the cookie "onCookieChanged" -Event triggered dynamically.
At the present state it is not possible to identify where a cookie is originating from, only the "cookies.cookie" values, but no values for "Window" and "Tab Id" which would dramatically help to assign a cookie to a particular domain even if the "cookie.originURL" or "cookie.url" is different from the surfed on website.
As an example, you can visit "https://freenet.de" which loads different ad trackers - which cookies are displayed as "Cross Origin" in Flag Cookies. A screenshot is attached.
In case you need clarification or more information, please let me know.
I cant sign up/in to a website via my google account. Whats might have gone wrong? could you please help?
Thanks & Regards,

Hello guys!
So i have been searching all over for how to recover my deleted cookie data. I clicked on where it says manage data in the prefences but I didnt mean to click delete data. Is there anyway I can restore that info? It is mostly because I use this site called band camp to download music and I keep a lot of tracks that I want to buy in my cart. but since I deleted the cookie data now all those songs I found are gone along with all the other cookie data. Is there an easy way to do this? im running Firefox 77.01
comment faire pour enlever les cookies?merci cordialement

Dear Community,
Thanking you in advance for any answers.
I would like to see a film on the Film4 website, part of the All4.com site, but there is a problem. Whenever I try to, the system tells me that I am using an ad-blocker. I use ABP, and then turn this off for this site. However, on going back to the website, I am still not allowed to play the film, as the system tells me that I have an ad-blocker. As I have turned off ABP, what else is causing the system to fail? Do I have another extension that may be causing this? A reply would be most appreciated,
Marek

Whenever I attempt to download anything from my Google drive I get this error in the attached image. Never had this issue before. Attempting to allow all cookies and manage exceptions doesn't work and also clearing caches and other cookies fails as well. The only way that works is by getting a shareable link and pasting it into an incognito tab and dragging the image onto the desktop. This doesn't work with other file types, only images.

Question, My security preferences says my settings are controlled by my organization. This is a personal win 10 installation. Also third party cookies are re-enabled every time I run firefox according to a spybot scan. My linux installations seem to give me full control without the controlled by organization message. I'm guessing it has something to do with microsoft. I have reinstalled firefox twice without syncing to my account with the same result. Just wondering if you have seen this before. Thank you!!

I have cookies-blocking enabled through Firefox. Often, when I go to websites, I'll see banners that indicate the sites use cookies and that say by clicking anywhere on page, I am agreeing to the use of cookies. When I click on the page and keep looking at it, does the page indeed apply cookies to my computer/my work or do my Firefox settings prevent this from happening?

Haven't been able to stay signed into online accounts like YouTube and Google accounts when I restart Fifrefox. The reason I am going to the trouble to post about it is because it used to work no issue. It gets me thinking if Google must have changed something in their policies recently to make this so difficult, like it just denies Firefox's anti-tracking features and stuff.
Here's what I already tried doing: First turn off cookie auto delete for a sec, then see if Fifrefox is deleting the cookies I need in settings. Then finally, check to see if enhanced tracking is deleting the cookie (so I disabled it for Youtube and accounts.google.com for the time-being.) Still no luck with staying signed in after all those tweaks.
Last you might be thinking that this may have somethiing to due with Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) 2.0 in the recent FIrefox update but the thing is, I started having this issue before the new update. I've scoured the settings in Firefox and am out of ideas. Perhaps somebody who is more familiar with the settings could point me in the right direction?
There is only one last thing to mention: I do use DNS over HTTPS with a custom provider. Is it at all possible this brings complications with it? Maybe I didn't have the right idea about it when I added it.
