Hello, I want to get funky looking tabs like this:

But I can't figure out how to do it. I've tried searching for a way to do this, but everything I find is very old and doesn't work. One thing I keep finding is this: https://github.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis

But that doesn't work for me, it just makes the tabs less tall. I've tried switching to nightly and that didn't do anything so I'm pretty lost. I don't know CSS or anything so I cant do it myself.

If anyone knows how to do this then please tell me!! thx!

I'm using the OneTab add-on, Enabled. The icon no longer shows on the Toolbar, though it is on the Menu bar next to Firefox View.

I ran Remove and then Added it again, hoping the Toolbar Icon would reappear = no go, And I lost all URLs already saved, stupid me. To be clear, clicking the Icon on the Toolbar saves all open tabs.

Is there a fix via Preferences? Thanks. gw

Web cam image on web page stopped working after last update. Using win 11. Tried refresh, worked last time but not this time, checked permission security settings. Can get the camera image on a tablet but not laptop. (lenovo) Anything I might have missed?

Good morning, I have a problem with disappearing bookmarks, but I can organise the backup of the places.sqlite, but I assume that won´t be enough to recover, therefore my question is, which files would be needed or is the one mentioned sufficient?

I am running Windows 10 (64-bit) Version 22H2 OS build 19045.4355 with the Firefox browser v125.0.3 and since updating to the latest Firefox version I am no longer able to load more than 17 Tradingview tabs and the Tradingview tabs I do upload take a long to to refresh or to save changes too. I do not have this issue using other browsers.

I have Firefox 124.0.2 running on Windows 11. For some reason, I can't update Firefox. When I manually download the update file, it appears to run Ok, but the version doesn't change. If I go to settings and click on "Check for Updates" is comes back and says Failed to Check for Updates. How do I fix this?

Originally reported on April 11th /questions/1444593: I have Windows 11 and the Firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "Failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. Hello everyone, I’m a fan of Firefox due to its efficient handling of webpage caching and memory management. However, I often find myself switching back to the Chromium-based Edge browser due to one specific feature in its DevTools. In Edge, when I resize the viewport, it stops at a certain limit. If I want to resize it further, I can zoom out and then continue resizing. I find this feature very useful. Is there a way to have similar functionality in Firefox? I’m currently using the Firefox Developer Edition.

When I go to update Firefox through the settings > general > firefox updates > check for updates, I am getting the error in the title. I can manually download the app installer and update to the most current version which is what I did for version 125.0.1, yesterday.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, installing the beta branch, refreshing firefox, running in troubleshooting mode, completely deleting all user firefox files, and I still get the error. No DNS resolver issues to the update server. No firewall issues. No network blocking (tested with other devices).

This issue started after March update to 124.0.1 and continues to current stable release 125.0.1.

This issue also seems to extend to checking for extension updates.

As of an hour ago suddenly all of the usual suggestions and autofill with bookmarks in my address bar are wrong and out of order. I didn't close out of or update Firefox, I was just browsing online. I didn't change anything in my settings or have opened that up in days at the minimum. I cannot figure out how to either revert back or tell Firefox to not show me these choices so I can get my old ones.

I'll give an example: When I typed in "ma" it would show me mangadex.com, which I often go to. Now when I do it not only is 5th on the list it shows up and fills in "https://www.manticgames.com/", which I don't have that specific page bookmarked. I have "https://www.manticgames.com/games/kings-of-war/" bookmarked, but not that homepage. But now all of a sudden it is showing me the homepage of that site when I begin to type in "ma".

This is incredibly irritating and I have no idea why it's doing this at me out of nowhere. I don't want about anything showing up besides my bookmarks and specifically only the pages I bookmarked.

So this problem keeps happening to me - I click "upload" on a website and nothing happens. For example, trying to upload photos to my website or upload files to a platform. Frustrating. To work around it I've been using a separate tab of Google chrome but it's such a pain to keep swapping back and forth. Please help!!

I'm having trouble using a particular site, that I used to be able to in particular clicking on sub menu's from a context menu if that is the correct term, meaning I cannot click an item/button to reveal a menu below it. From the image supplied there are 2 'menu's' with a < character that when clicked should reveal a sub menu of items, works in Edge/Chrome etc.. the only extension I have is Keeper.

We develop a system on D365 platform. On Chrome enviroment, I click the export option, it will download the excel file, I can open it on Excel. However, I click the export option on FireFox, it will download the excel file but I can't open it on Excel. When I use the notepad to open the file to see the content, I found the file become HTML content. I can see the file on web broswer. I don't know why the file content will be change HTML content when I use the Firefox to download it.

I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!

I'm on a Mac using Mojave, with Firefox version 115.8.

I am tired of this [removed] browser quitting, even when I don't have it open...I am going to uninstall it and NEVER install it again...I tried a full uninstall to see if it would fix whatever the [removed] issue with it was, but it is doing the same [removed] again!...I don't have this problem with any other browser I use on my system (Chrome, Brave, Opera and Tor)...I am tired of dealing with this [removed], so you can just take your [removed] and shove it!!!

How the hell does a browser crash when it isn't even being used???!!!

No need to respond and ask for any logs or other [removed], because it will all be gone!!!
