I'm using and old operating system on my computer, and the latest version of Firefox seems to overtax my graphics card, even with the most mundane websites and functions. So, I had to downgrade versions to the one just previous to today's update to even get here. However, it makes you create a new profile instead of using an existing one. Is there some way to get around this?

Hi everyone, I've recently reinstalled Firefox on two new computers and have had the same problem for each: My extension/add-on icons have disappeared from my toolbar. I've tried adding them back, but they don't appear in the options (see screenshot 1 & 2). My navigation is not set on "always private". Here's what I've done so far: 1. Checked if others have had my problem. 2. Uninstalled and reinstalled all my add-ons. 3. Set the view settings to default. 4. Reinstall Firefox. I'm having the same problem on both computers. When we select one of the context menu to copy the Image URL, for example, when you re reading in the page below, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_paintings_by_Pierre-Auguste_Renoir;

and selecting one thumbnail like as I attatched, we expect Firefox returns like URL below. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/26/Swing-Renoir.jpeg/200px-Swing-Renoir.jpeg

But actually, Firefox sometimes returns like this "blob" url. blob:https://en.wikipedia.org/e7b597f6-ea69-4cc2-aa37-07cad9e66a7d

This is not what I expected and desired. Do you have any idea of the cause and solution for this situation?

When I close a tab, sometimes it crashes. I tried with `-safe-mode` and the error persists. Let me know if I can add more information.

when I try to compose mail in yahoo accessed through my Firefox Mozilla browser , email addresses do not autopopulate like they used to. Also, I am having an issue writing emails. When I hit the return button within the body of emails, the lines do not drop down. Does anyone know how to fix these issues?

You can see the context menu in the photo, I would want to hide the pin tabs button so I could stop clicking it on accident. Pinned aren't a feature I use nor find useful anyway.

I am trying to do a print of a PDF. I can see the whole image on the screen. But, when I print it, all I get are lines. I then copied the link page for the PDF and used it in OPERA Browser. NO PROBLEMS. It did print fully the way it looks on the screen.

No wonder I am again going to delete FIREFOX and go with a different browser. Firefox is having too many problems and I already have enough headaches without Firefox help.

Occasionally when downloading files on Firefox, they'll freeze completely (often at the very end.) There is no way to pause or cancel the downloads, except to restart Firefox.

When I attempt to restart Firefox, it closes the browser window. However, when I try to reopen it, I get an error message stating that Firefox is running but not responding. The 'Close Firefox' option does nothing, except make the box pop back up a moment later.

I can't kill the Firefox process in Task Manager or Process Explorer, because it says access is denied. I can't kill it using taskkill in command prompt because it says there is no running instance of the task.

The ONLY thing that seems to help is completely restarting the computer, which is getting frustrating to do several times a day.

For the past few days, my picture-in-picture that shows up for videos always just goes to fullscreen. I am unable to resize the video or have anything else up, it just becomes a full screen of whatever I chose which defeats the purpose, I feel, of this setting.

Please help.

Whenever I try to type in numbers on a web page, Firefox either closes the page or it opens the address bar on the browser. Sometimes it puts up a dialog box asking if I want to leave the page. It's very frustrating because Firefox is making it difficult to add a new credit card to my accounts. This started in the last few weeks, and I'm not aware of any new updates. I tried to refresh Firefox but this problem is continuing. I have a refurbished by Apple 2020 MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.4. I believe in Mozilla and would hate to go to Chrome as my main browser. Can you help me? [email removed from public]

Can I save a website address as an icon on my opening page? Similar to my desktop, so I can save my most used pages to my opening page so I don't have to scroll down my entire list of websites to find one.

Hi, To start exporting Firefox Password Data to a file, the "Login data of the Windows User Account" has to be entered (pls. refer to attachment). What is meant by "Windows User Account"? Thanks so much for your help. Hans - presently in Munich, Bavaria, Germany

PS: I'm using the German Version of Firefox - so I translated back to English.

I am facing issue while downloading files in Firefox Private Browsing. Whenever I download my PDF files, as soon as I close the browser window, the files also get deleted automatically. What should I do to rectify this issue.
