I think this is a bug, but thought I'd ask here first.

On FireFox 76.0.1, Windows 10, 64 bit

This is not resolving (names changed for privacy)

none

The URL resolves correctly when used alone. Clicking View Image on the browser right mouse menu on the alt ('none') link also resolves correctly. According to the dev console Network tab, it's not even trying to access the specified URL, and hovering over it on the Inspector tab reports "Cannot load image"

The page containing that image definition works correctly in Chrome, Edge beta, and Opera.

Thanks! Dan

Since FF was updated to the latest (76.0.01) the new tab extension no longer opens with the cursor on the search engine box but has been changed to the URL bar. Sorry but I can't stand this. I want to have what I had before when I opened a new tab. The cursor defaulted to the search engine box. I'll be tickled pink if I can get that to work again. That's all I want. Can anyone pleazzze help me resolve this? Thanks!

When I switch my Firefox to fullscreen it overlaps onto the taskbar (as you see in the picture I attached below) Can someone help me fix this? Turning on the Titlebar fixes this but I don't want the Titlebar to be on. This is a seriously big and annoying issue. I have tried reinstalling and refreshing my browser and even disabling windows color from being applied to the taskbar but it doesn't help. Its as if Firefox has an extra piece to it in fullscreen. If I click on the taskbar it overlaps back onto Firefox but then if I open start (as you can see in the second picture) that extra piece of Firefox is still there.

Since I upgraded my macbook to Catalina, I found that my macbook can longer automatically go to sleep when the lid is open. And the culprit seems to be the firefox browser, because in the activity monitor, it always shows that firefox is preventing the sleep.

Is there any reason that firefox is preventing my laptop to sleep? And how can I turn it off.

Hi, I always use Firefox.

I wonder why Microsoft Edge which was born later than Firefox supports Touch Bar completely, on the other hand Firefox which was born so long before Edge doesn't support Touch Bar completely?

TouchBar on Firefox show static buttons only. It's so stupid, I think.

The features of Media Scrubber and going to registered site on top sites can be only operated on Touch Bar, but going to previous/forward page, opening new tab, and reloading page is also available on keyboard shortcut.

I think it is meaningless that supports only these features that can be operated by keyboard. It is worth supporting features that can be only operated by TouchBar such as Media Scrubber.

I want Mozilla to support these feature of Touch Bar like Media Scrubber completely because I love Firefox.

For whatever reason, I had five different CNN email adds bounce back to me yesterday, and another one just now bounced back in Firefox. Todays bounce back or failure, is shown in the image I attached below. I'm not an IT PROFESSIONAL, and since errors like this happen so RARELY, i don't understand just what the reason is, for all these email attempts, failing to be delivered. If I knew what was causing it, maybe some setting that needed changing, or something has been corrupted, I could reinstall, that would help me solve this. But, I can't understand what all this is trying to tell me. Does anyone understand this, and can help explain it to me? Thank you.

I have always kept my Mozilla Firefox to Firefox 55.0. However, even though I have my Update set to never, when I opened my browser this morning it updated to 72.something or other. That version was missing all of my bookmarks and my saved passwords. After reinstalling 55.0 I found my bookmarks and got them reinstalled but even with all of the so-called help articles I cannot find any of my passwords, and I had a lot of them! All I can tell is that under the about:profiles there is only one listed and that's the current one. Can anyone help me find and reinstall my passwords?

I am running Firefox v76.0.1 64bit on an iMac.

Suddenly in Gmail emails accessed by the web interface are showing no images with the broken image link, some are showing around 10% of the images and others are showing all the images. This suddenly started earlier this week.

I have tried safe mode with no plugins and still exactly as above. I have tried turning Advanced Protection off and again no change. The attached screenshot is an example of the problem.

If I access the emails using Safari then I have no issue.
