When I use Yandex.com, search results appear for a fraction of a second and then page goes blank (please see screenshot).

It is not a Yandex thing, since I can access Yandex search in Chrome. Also, as you can see from my screenshot, although I use Adguard VPN it is disasbled for Yandex.

This is new behavior. I already tried clearing the cache

PS: There was an old locked thread reporting disappearing search results about three years ago but the person asking for help said if he hovered his cursor he could see links. Nothing happens when I hover the blank page. It appears to be genuinely blank. Thank you.

Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." WHEN YOU CANNOT TURN OFF THE IDIOTIC popup spam for the updates NOT EVEN GOOGLE CHROME DOES THAT. And ridiculous it has to LOAD THE UPDATE after restarting the browser lag time and IDIOTIC BRIGHT SCREEN FLASHING even if you have darkmode on, JESUS CHRIST this browser seems ridiculous and FAR WORSE THAN THE OTHERS WHEN EVEN CHROME IS BETTER with these settings and not being pointlessly ridiculous rofl. Firefox's DNS over HTTPS is preventing my access to 2 websites I've used for years for booking golf tee times. The 2 sites are www.roosterrun.com and www.windsorgolf.com. I want to remove this feature and return my PC to it's previous settings. Please help. John Blevins bold text

I'm on Win11. The recent releases of FF seem to have disabled my ability (while in FF) to bring my mouse to the lower area of my screen to have the Win11 lower task bar appear. In order to get here, I have to shrink FF via it's upper right hand shrink button, then in the Win11 home screen bring my mouse pointer down to the lower screen area to popup that task bar. Gemini suggests there's a compatibility setting related to issues with high res screens that FF has... but I can't find this switch/setting... maybe Gemini is hallucinating about this. (Curiously, Gemini insists that this is not a FF issue... despite the fact that it's the only app on my PC having this issue).

I have two problems:

1. After importing bookmarks from html file i can not see them under search bar. only i can see them when clicking on Show your bookmarks /Ctrl+Shift+O/. Bookmark toolbar is checked into Always show Where is the problem?

2. Blank shortcuts of some websites, i tried to fix it with all methods but failed like: Deleting the IconCache.db file then restart windows explorer Command prompt sfc /scannow Command prompt dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth Disable tablet mode and Widgets

Hello, I am using Firefox for my company. We are using Quickbase system to access the data from internal server. Previously, I can allow Firefox to show the image that classified as unsecured context. I could see the setting option to allow unsecured pictures. But now I changed my account on my computer and when I use firefox, I can not see the image file from server and also I can not find how to allow unsecure picture. Is there way to set to allow unsecure stuff from Firefox? Please let me know.

I wanted to disable the "Moves the URL left or right". It turns out that this functionality won't be useful to me, but this shortcut is the one that I use the most :/

Hello, I was using Firefox to read my email at privateemail.com. When I attempted to save one of the emails to my Macbook (using an option in the window displaying the email), Firefox launched Apple Mail on my MacOS system. Apple Mail opened up with the email in one of its windows.

That is not the way it worked in the past. When picking "save to computer" in the web-mail interface, Firefox would open a SaveAs dialog box and allow me to directly save the mail to my computer.

I tested this behavior using Safari instead of Firefox, and that behaved as I expected. That is, Safari opened a SaveAs dialog box for me to use.

Is there a configuration parameter that was changed in a recent Firefox update? I am running FF 126.0 on MacOS 14.4.1.

Hi, there - Over the last few months, I've noticed some things that make it impossible to get to websites. I keep getting "Secure Connection Failed," for example, with getting to Chewy.com. I just tried to sign into the ssa.gov website, but it comes back repeatedly as "403 forbidden." And another big one is trying to get to outlook.com. It never fully loads. I cannot get my email. I've been having to use Edge more and more, and I don't like that for privacy issues. Also, sometimes I cannot finish buying things on some websites without changing over to private browsing. When updating Firefox, I my Avast antivirus often pops up with a Threat Secured window: Is there some nefarious code in your updater? I attached a screen grab of the warning window.

I am in the process of migrating to a new Windows 11 PC. I am a long-time user of Firefox and have version 126.0 - 64 bit on my old PC. On my new PC I apparently downloaded it from the Microsoft Store during all my software installs. That version shows as "Windows MSIX Package Mozilla – MSIX – 1.0”

Are there differences between the 2 versions and should I do anything such as reinstalling from Mozilla?

I am unable to connect to my printer over my local wifi using the IP address when using Firefox (126.0) on MacOS. On Linux (Firefox 125.0.3, for Ubuntu), the procedure is simply to type the IP address into the search bar, and press enter, and it works. On MacOs, no way to get to that website, I only get a Google search (I also tried adding http:// or https://, or tried creating a Bookmark and modifying the address there, it simply refuses to update if I just have http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx as the address)...

Any chance there might be a way for me to connect to that IP-only website?

Hello, so when I watch youtube on FF my cpu usage goes up alot and the fans go nuts. I have a very capable i5, rtx3070 machine and this issue started just a couple of days ago. I have not done any changes or updates which could trigger this problem. The problem starts mainly when I Watch in full screen mode or have multiple non-fullscreen vids active. All other apps show no signs of problem. I can watch the exact same video in Edge, no fans/high cpu, VLC works fine, Chrome is OK, it's only in FF that the problem occurs.

I have tried the following: 1.Reinstalling FF 2. Activating HW acceleration in FF and forcing it in Windows11 3. Theatre mode is off and all other YT settings are off. 4. Updated Nvidia and windows 5. FF is the latest version. 6. Disabled all my addons/plugins

No clue what can cause this..

I am sorry if I have doubled up on this but I am not sure what heading to give it. Since the most recent update of Firefox I have been unable to use Afterpay. My Afterpay account still works in Chrome and through the phone app. Afterpay themselves have checked through my account and their system, and there are no problems. Therefore, they recommended that I reach out to Firefox to request help. I want to use Firefox as I have done for years, but I cannot use it if it is incompatible with my Afterpay account. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
