I have a Lenovo Win 11 notebook that now requires me to sign in each time I open Outlook or YouTube when I use the Firefox Browser. Edge and Chrome do not require a sign each time I use Outlook and/or YouTube. A setting in Firefox certainly seems to be the cause. I reinstalled Firefox, still same broblem.

A week or two ago I had no issues with Outlook and YouTube. It happens now every time I Open Outlook and YouTube.

I now use EDGE and have stopped using Firefox which has been my preferred browser for years.

My display is too big now and I lose parts of webpages in the "edges"? Search bar when I first sign on shows 120%. How do I get back to 100%? Please no technical jargon. If I can't fix this,will have to quit using Firefox.

FIRST PROBLEM (I have been unable to submit a help request from https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form)

Windows 10, fully updated with the latest firefox version. Email program is MS Outlook through my employer. Email notifications are overwhelmingly loud if the global volume is sufficient for viewing content. Playing with the volume mixer doesn't help. I have searched for solutions online, and every suggested fix entails features or options that are not available on my system. Please provide complete instructions for Windows 10. Please respond to lanzcc@potsdam.edu

SECOND PROBLEM

Submit button on page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form never succeeds.

This has been going on for a length of times, the Privacy app or window keeping changing when I used it. This morning, it started back when trying to close it to go to another website. Also, the middle part of the privacy screen keeping changing.

Firefox is not secure because there is something going on every day with the settings. They keep changing on me.

Hi, how can I zoom in and out on websites without changing any display or layout? For example, on some sites, zooming changes the layout of the text so that it all fits on the screen. Or zooming on some sites doesn't affect the size of the images, only the text. How can I zoom in so as to see the page in its original layout but with a wider view, thus preserving the scales of all the elements (as if I were zooming in on a picture) ? (in the screen below, zooming change the relative scale of the elements) Thank you for your help.

I've been using Rightmove Professional on Firefox for ten years plus but now suddenly it's not working correctly as the viewing windows no longer slide. Rightmove say it's due to an update by Firefox and advise to switch to Chrome but I really don't want to - will this issue be fixed? Thanks

Nightly updated this morning and the help menu from the sandwich has stopped working. The menu options display, but none of them function. Mouse click makes the menu disappear as if it's going to show the panel attached to the option.

I get the following two error messages when I click on Foxfire. Couldn't load XPCOM; and Entry Point not found; followed by this:  ?Nan@Decimal@blink@@SA?AV12@XZ could not be located in the dynamic link library...

I tried to uninstall the program, but got the same two messages and it would not let me. I downloaded a new version and I'm getting the same messages. Everytime I start my computer, I get the same two messages and have to click out of them to keep going. I've installed another browser, but at this point, I just want to uninstall Foxfire so it stops popping up with error messages all the time.

Anybody know how to resolve this? Thanks.

As you can see in the attached image the highlight is coming out grey instead of blue, which is what is showing when I select 'save screenshot'. It used to be this error happened maybe one in 20 times and it was annoying because I am making these screenshots for use in youtube videos and it becomes unreadable, but now it is every single screenshot even after doing it dozens of times and with different pages.

Good Morning. I have been using Firefox for 20+ years. Last night it did an update overnight, and this morning I am getting "The Page Isn't Redirecting Properly" error message on my business CRM site. This appears to be the only site having an issue. I have never had this error previously.

I tried all suggestions already including clearing cache/cookies, checking settings, delete history, troubleshoot mode and nothing. The site opens fine on Chrome and MS Edge.

Any additional help is appreciated, this is very frustrating.

A while back the behavior of the ctrl+shift+t shortcut changed from reopening tab in the current window to reopening tab in the current window or reopening last closed window which for me and a lot of other people too made it worse. There's been a thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1421356 but it's been archived without a real solution. Is there now a way like a about:config toggle to bring back the old functionality? I really miss the old behavior.

Multiple users are reporting in Microfix's Mozilla Firefox and ESR Updates 2024 in the AskWoody forum that the two options at Settings | Browsing | Recommend extensions as you browse and Recommend features as you browse were both automatically re-enabled when Firefox updated to v127.0.0. I was able to confirm both those settings were previously disabled in my Firefox browser and re-enabled without my permission in v127.0.0.

So far this as been confirmed in desktop builds of Firefox v127.0.0 and Firefox ESR v115.0.2 released on 11-Jun-2024, but not in Portable builds of Firefox. I'm hoping that the automatic re-enabling of these settings is a bug, and not a deliberate change to make Firefox more intrusive.

I should add that the first time I re-launched Firefox after upgrading to v127.0.0 on 11-Jun-2024 I saw a banner message asking me if I'd like to Open Firefox every time you start your computer?. I'm hoping that clicking the "Not Now" button button once will be enough to prevent this nag from reappearing.

Got up this morning and FF said all my tabs were crashed - GAH! Could not open ANY new tabs, not even a blank tab, without getting this message. Clicking on restore tabs did nothing. Closing & opening FF did nothing. Cleared startup cache & uninstalled ublock origin (the only extension I had) but that did nothing. Refresh firefox did nothing (except lose some of my preferences). Went to about:crashes and all it says is "No crash reports have been submitted." Every other suggestion I found online was beyond my comprehension. FF DOES work in troubleshooting mode only, but I lose some important functions in that mode. I've been using FF almost since it was born and have NEVER encountered a problem like this before. I hope someone can help!

SLES 15.5 QU2 in Mozilla Firefox 115.8.0esr was not supporting window.close() and it's showing like "firefox already running , but is not reponding to use firefox you must frist close the exiting firefox process , restart your device , or use a different profile"

Is it possible to save/export (and then restoring) the home screen icons/shortcuts without using Firefox sync?

I want to save its state on my disk so I can restore it later, after formatting, for example. I don't really use any sync features and I actually don't want to sign up for yet another online service if I can help it.

After updating Firefox to version 127.0, I started having problems with the playback of some media files. In particular, audio files with the .wav extension do not show the playback time and the file cannot be played. I can play the same media files in previous versions of Firefox and other browsers (e.g. Chrome) without any problems.

Since I think the problem is caused by a browser update, I would like to ask for your help. If you have any solutions or feedback on this issue, please share it.

I've not been able to download anything on Firefox for about 3-4 weeks now. Every time I try to it immediately fails with no explanation given. The only type of download that works is "Save Image As..." Even trying to download a picture with a download button instead of right clicking nets an immediate fail. I feel like I've done everything to try and troubleshoot it myself, but nothing seems to be working.

I've restarted my computer, ran Firefox in troubleshoot mode, refreshed and reinstalled it, checked for viruses and malware, tried both nightly and ESR versions, tried running them as admin, logged out of my Firefox profile, cleared my cookies and cache, changed and reset the download folder, ran a repair for Visual C++, and reset my windows security settings. I'm honestly surprised nothing has worked.

The only thing that I know I haven't tried yet it refreshing my entire computer, but that's my very far last resort because I'm able to download files just fine on Microsoft Edge. Only the Firefox applications have given me any problems, so if I were to refresh my computer and have the problem still not be solved somehow I'd be deleting everything to get nowhere.

If anyone has any other ideas to try that be very much appreciated.
