McAfee malware has entered the firefox browser a couple of days ago claiming viruses have been detected & requires me to click on their popup to remove it. Additional warning follow and reoccur every couple of minutes. I don’t have McAfee Anti-virus software on my computer & have not installed any new software for some time. The anti-software I have works fine (Spybot & Microsoft Security Essentials) and detects no problems. The first application I initiate upon boot-up each morning is Firefox and that’s when the problem begins. It is somehow related to Firefox. I cannot find any processes in play.

I can open Chrome with no problems (however, Chrome no longer supports Windows 7. I’m using Windows 7 Pro. I tried all the free malware scanning programs suggested but nothing found.

I cannot find any link to Firefox Desktop Support as you suggested. Can you please forward this email to that support team.

Whose idea was it to popup a Firefox promotion window while I was working on a text? The popup took me out of the page where I was working, Google Voice. I am struggling, doing this with one hand while the other is in an Ace bandage with an ice pack on top. This was a needless interruption!

heb.com i can login, but my password manager takes me to

Soooo! everytime I try to open cloudflare, no matter what site it comes from, the connection refuses to go through and I'm only having this problem on firefox, I came from opera gx, had no problems with cloudflare till now!

Roughly 90% of the time I am using firefox to access and export excel files from a site used for the back end of our point of sale system, the tab I am exporting from jumps to a random URL (usually for a utility company I use to pay utility bills through). I have to go back several pages to get back to the original. It is totally problematic, and fairly random and often the utility company URL will vary; sometimes it's the gas company, sometimes it's the power company....occasionally the internet service provider).

Hello, I am a tinkerer and I would like to tweak my Firefox Developer Edition to suit my tastes, but I don't know what each of the preference commands does. the only autoplay setting i can find is under privacy and security. the page shows DEFAULT FOR ALL WEBSITES: Block Audio and Video, but videos still open and play. the page does not retain the change when i select the button REMOVE ALL WEBSITES. this problem has not been happening for years. it may have begun about six months ago. thank you for your time

I just get gray boxes and cannot even log in or anything. I have no ad blockers or add-ons. How can I get youtube working again on Firefox. It is working fine on Safari and on my iphone.

The behavior began with fifteen to twenty crash messages appearing. After which the browser would stop responding and be unable to reach out to the internet.

Network connectivity was confirmed as I was able to access my VPN and corporate teams.

I submitted as many crash reports as I could. Eventually the crash reporter ceased to function. The message is:

Only a full reboot of the machine restored functionality but only temporarily. It returns after being put into sleep mode.

Running firefox in safe mode does not restore functionality. The behavior persists.

I am fully up to date according to firefox.

I am running a Lenovo Thinkpad Windows 11.

For years I have used Firefox as my preferred internet browser, and most of the time it's OK. Recently, however, when trying to log on to my bank accounts, I get the message "Log on error. You need to enable cookies in your browser to logon to Internet Banking." How do I do this? In the meantime I am using another browser and can log on successfully there.

In Windows 10, Audible throws this error:

An Error Occurred An error occurred during processing. Please close this window and try again.

Other browsers are fine. Other media in Firefox such as BBC Sounds are fine. I cleared the history, then reset Firefox. I thought it might be an issue with the latest Realtek driver, but I could not roll back all Realtek drivers. So I installed an Asus DS Xonar 7.1 PCI soundcard. This shows exactly the same problem.

I think the HTML that loads in Firefox is corrupted or tampered.

Could I get some feedback?
