On the iPhone and iPad it is possible to automatically open a desired URL when opening a new tab. But is it seriously not possible to do this on a Windows PC? It doesn't make sense to me, as browsers on PCs usually have more functions and mobile browsers have fewer functions.

Hi, having an issue where new tabs crash while browsing.

Will be fine for 30 minutes or so but opening a new tab/clicking on a bookmark leads to Gah. Your tab just crashed.

Using a working tab is OK as long as I stay on the same site.

All drivers are updated.

Once it happens, I close my browser and I am then fine for a while.

Removed all themes/add-ons in case of conflict but still same issue so re-added.

Any advice appreciated.

Due to one of your recent upgrades I can no longer stay logged into regularly used penned sites that I do NOT log out of when I close the Firefox browser. For years I never had to do this. Now I am.

Firefox recently 'crashed' on my desktop PC. It asked me to restart in safe mode or restore to the original state. I chose to restore. This meant that I had to re-add all of my add-ons and log back into my favourite sites as my log-in details had disappeared. I got everything back to normal eventually, except for one very important site. I am now no longer able to log on to my bank website to review my accounts. I get an error message on the site saying " Log on error. You need to enable cookies in your browser to logon to Internet Banking." I have never had this problem before. I am able to log on successfully on my tablet, and also via a different browser on my desktop PC. I'm not a tech expert so this is very frustrating. I've tried clearing cookies/cache/data in the settings but no success. I really need to access my bank accounts on my desktop as I find this easier. Hopefully you can help as I don't want to use a different browser.

Why doesn't the Bookmarks toolbar go directly to my Bookmarks? When I click on Bookmarks on the menu bar, I then have to click on Bookmarks Toolbar folder to display them. That REALLY SUCKS! Why can't you leave anything alone? You make things worse, not better. What used to be one click is now two. Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631

My Firefox is up to date but this will not stop popping up! I have repaired, reinstalled. Still getting the below.

When I open Firefox browser the browser restsets and changes color to pink in the web address line. I have asked this question before. Is there someone technically familar with Firefox that can resolve this issue?

ok what im having issues with is is kixeye.com.... instead of this site it keeps going to https://m.kixeye.com/. instead of www.kixeye.com. there is no option to change it to the desktop site like when im on my phone

any help rectifying this would be a great help

When I try to access Developer Community from Visual Studio 2022 ('Send feedback' 'report a problem') the banner displays with selection items but no content is displayed. This has been a problem for several months (years maybe). I now have a problem that I cannot solve and I need to report it and I cannot if content is not displayed.

I started getting "can't load XPCOM" errors when starting Firefox. I did a full uninstall, then attempted to install the new version, I still get the same error during the install.

The website mylotto.co.nz has been blocking Firefox for many months now and when I rang them to find out what the problem is they just say they are having problems but it was obvious that the person there was reading a script and fobbing me off. This has been going for many months now a problem would have been fixed by now. I would like to know if you can bring pressure to bear on them to get reinstated again. Hello, Since a couple of weeks I'm facing a strange issue on my Firefox installed on my desktop (arch linux) where the suggestions window that appears when clicking the URL address bar, is shifted upwards and covers the address bar itself and the majority of the bookmarks. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and is able to point me towards some troubleshooting steps? Thanks!

I'm on Windows 11 Pro 23H2. This is a pristine installation, downloaded from mozilla.org, default settings, no add-ons. - Firefox 126.0.1. - There are no cookies, history or cache to clean, since it's a fresh installation. - Connection settings is set default to "Use system proxy settings", although I've also tried setting it up to "No proxy", then restarting Firefox completely, then trying again with a new domain. No change. - DNS over HTTPS is set default to "Default protection". I've also set it to "Off", then restarting Firefox completely, then trying again with a new domain. No change.

I don't what else to try and I don't know what's wrong with Mozilla Firefox.

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

Win11 Version 126.0.1 (64-bit)

Ive tried reinstalling firefox because i am not able to download anything with this browser. I thought freshly installing firefox would fix the issue and allow me to download but it didnt. I also am tried to download an addon/extension, and that automatically fails to download. How can i fix this?

The behavior began with fifteen to twenty crash messages appearing. After which the browser would stop responding and be unable to reach out to the internet.

Network connectivity was confirmed as I was able to access my VPN and corporate teams.

I submitted as many crash reports as I could. Eventually the crash reporter ceased to function. The message is:

Firefox had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash.

Details: expected value at line 1 column 1

Only a full reboot of the machine restored functionality but only temporarily. It returns after being put into sleep mode.

Running firefox in safe mode does not restore functionality. The behavior persists.

I am fully up to date according to firefox.

I am running a Lenovo Thinkpad Windows 11.

During the past week, my open tabs will crash when I try to open them. All new tabs will crash. There are no crash reports. I cleared my cache but retained cookies. My temporary fix is to close and reopen Firefox. That works until I open another new tab.
