In Supernova (v115) on Windows 11, when I view a message by double-clicking it to open it in a new window, I can set the Mail Toolbar to visible, then right click on it and select Customize. In previous versions I would put large icon/text button up there for Reply, Reply All, Forward, Print, and Delete. Those buttons don't appear to be available in Supernova for this toolbar.

Some of them appear to be in a fixed area as buttons with text beside the icon, and this area does not appear to have any customization available. For example, I don't use the Junk and Archive buttons, so if this "button area" must remain visible in this position, I'd like to be able to customize which of these buttons are visible.

My real preference would be to not have these buttons appear where they are now (to the right of the FROM: info), but instead to be able to have them in the Mail Toolbar at the top of the window as I could in the past. See attached screenshot for clarification of the Mail Toolbar->Customize window that doesn't currently allow for Reply, Reply All, Forward, Print and Delete to be added to the top Mail Toolbar.

Thunderbird 115.0.1 - Cannot send/reply email from my personal (not corporate) Outlook account - SOLVED by setting account "Normal password" instead of Oauth2

I was able to send emails till July 14. After that day it's been impossible to send or reply to messages from my Outlook account (I receive emails though). I have made no changes to Thunderbird's configuration since then. Basically it's the Oauth2 authentication that fails. I briefly see a browser page for authentication, wait, wait, wait and then the mail is not sent and I get an error message related to servers timeout (attached). Sorry, my interface is in Italian, but anyway the message is something like: "Unable to send email because of a timeout on the connection to the out server (SMTP) smtp.office365.com. Try again." Is this a known bug? Any ideas? It's quite annoying to use the browser interface to send messages while I am able to receive them in Thunderbird :) Thank you in advance, guys!

I got a new laptop and wanted to set up Mozilla Thunderbird for an existing Gmail account. I tried several times, all failed, with a warning "unable to connect with server imap.gmail.com, may be userid and password are wrong". But I can logon to my Gmail account (with the same userid and password) on Firefox website and on my previous computer, so the id and password are correct). And I was able to set up another Gmail account on Thunderbird in this new laptop (so the version of Mozilla is not the culprit) with the same server settings (port for incoming and outgoing mails, authentication methods SL/TLS, O Auth2 etc). Will someone please help me?

I recently installed Firefox on my new laptop. During install I recall seeing a pop up for McAfee. I think I clicked that I didn't want it. After using Firefox for a little while, a McAfee pop up appeared about being on a dangerous site. (This is one that I have been on numerous times before and my preferred virus protection has not had an issue with it.) Does Firefox automatically install McAfee even when we don't want it? I searched through my apps and found a McAfee Webmaster app and uninstalled it. I have inadvertently had McAfee added on other computers and have had nothing but problems with it. If Firefox wants to associate itself with McAfee, I am having my doubts about what else is being added to my computer. Should I be concerned?

Hello!

I've just updated my thunderbird to version 115 and noticed that there's a small bug. If you will receive a new message, there will a badge appear on the taskbar icon.

However, this badge with number of unread messages won't disapear after you read the message.

Nothing concerning but I wanted to somehow pass this information to the Mozilla.

My OS is Windows 11 22H2
