Today May 1, I noticed that any website that shows a recaptcha checkbox, including the google recaptcha demo (https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api2/demo) only shows an infinite spinner in firefox v125.0.3. I've tried the same sites in chrome and edge and the recaptcha works fine. In FF, I have cleared my cache, disabled tracking protection, disabled anti-virus and tried troubleshooting mode - still get the infinite spinner. Last week, I had no problems with recaptcha.

I have been having problems with Firefox on my Desktop-PC for about a week now: I am almost always shown another tab with an error message (an new tab with allways the same content) in addition to the website that is regularly called up and also works:

Beim Verbinden mit 0.0.0.1 trat ein Fehler auf.

It doesn't matter which regular website I call up - it also happens when I call up the Mozilla Firefox page.

It is as if my website call is executed twice: once normally and everything is displayed correctly. And once as an extra tab with an alleged page loading error where the connection has failed.

How can I prevent these additional tabs with the error message from constantly popping up and being displayed? I have not made any other settings and Firefox has always worked perfectly so far. It doesn't happen with Google Chrome, for example - so it's not my PC.

Can you help me?

bold textWhen I click onto Firefox, it opens a tab that says Invalid URL. If I click onto the + next to it, it opens up into the firefox browser. What can I do about the original tab??

I can open the Chase bank site, but cannot log into my account. I can log into my Chase account using Edge. This may have happened after the most recent update to Firefox. Any ideas how to fix this?

I have been getting the "new version available, download now nag for over 2 weeks, and I have the latest version. Still get this issue repeatedly every day. Starting to become an every hour nag to update and install latest version of Firefox. Refuse to use Microsoft Edge or Chrome, and will switch off Firefox too if not rectified.

I use Microsoft Outlook through GoDaddy for website-related correspondence. The Outlook sign-in page has a selectable option to remain signed in, which I check. This has worked for years: each time I open Firefox, I have been automatically signed in to my email account.

Until recently.

Now, I am NEVER signed in to my account, even though I check the "Keep me signed in" box at each login.

To experiment, I downloaded Google Chrome and have been using it for a few weeks. I stay signed in using that browser, with no issues.

Any ideas about fixing this issue?

How do I disable the mozilla.com news popups? I keep getting annoying news popups with Mozilla.com written at the top of the popup. Todays was USAToday. I did not request this and I want it gone.

I am not computer savvy as a warning. I have Firefox as my browser. I am having trouble because my email Yahoo and other situations are not working right because they say, " 'Java Script' is not enabled." I did not even know what Java Script was. How do I enable Java Script or what is a substitute that Firefox recommends that will work like Java Script? Thank you

I am having trouble sending tabs from my phone to my PC. My device is connected to my computer, and I can send tabs from my PC to my phone successfully, but not the other way around. I have no idea what could even be the issue, and I have only seen people asking about sending tabs from PC to Mobile, not the other way around. Is there something I am missing? None of the Firefox troubleshoot pages have helped.

When I open Firefox on my new computer all the bookmarks are showing at the top. I only want my default bookmark toolbar to show. The only solution I could find was to drag it into the toolbar area.

I have a very fast internet connection, 200 mbps and everything else on both my laptop and my mobile phone are working fine but Firefox is very slow. Pages load ok but videos will play for a short time and then freeze never to continue and downloads are painfully slow, 2 to 4 mbps. Edge and Chrome download normally and videos play with no issue. I need this fixed or Firefox is going bye bye!

Hi there, Last night I installed some new hardware into my PC, new motherboard and CPU for example. After that, I booted up the PC, everything worked completely fine and I was able to listen to Youtube / Twitch / Spotify etc. through Firefox.

This morning I boot up the PC, everything still works perfectly and I have audio coming from all other sources EXCEPT for Firefox. I have browsed every forum already but can not find anything that relates to me. I can't set my output device, since Firefox doesn't show up in the volume mixer. The tabs aren't muted. I have restarted Audiosrv and Windows Explorer several times. I have re-installed Firefox twice. I have tried booting it in safemode. All of the above hasn't resulted in a single second of audio. I am at a loss.

PLEASE HELP!

So I opened firefox as usual, which automatically restores my previous session, but only one tab was showing, and the rest were blank and had no addresses. Then I opened firefox again after closing, and only the last tab, of the previous tabs was showing. After that I looked for restore last session, but it was nowhere to be found. What I did find, was restore recently closed tabs, so i selected that. But of course, these were the recently closed tabs, and not my previous session. After looking around on the internet, I quickly found sessionstore files, but at that point, my past files had been updated.

Where does firefox house deleted/updated files? And how can I recover "previous" sessionstore files?

PLEASE HELP!
